"And every whisper, it's the worst Emptied out by a single word There is a hollow in me now So I put my faith in something unknown I'm living on such sweet nothing But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hope I'm living on such sweet nothing And it's hard to learn And it's hard to love When you're giving me such sweet nothing Sweet nothing, sweet nothing You're giving me such sweet nothing."
"You got designer shades, Just to hide your face and You wear them around like, You're cooler than me. And you never say hey, Or remember my name. It's probably cause, you think you're cooler than me."
"If God's the game you're playing Well we must get more acquainted Because it has to be so lonely To be the only one who's holy It's just my humble opinion But it's one that I believe in You don't deserve a point of view If the only thing you see is you."
"Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in So shame on me now You flew me to places I've never been 'Til you put me down, oh I knew you were trouble when you walked in So shame on me now Flew me to places I've never been Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground."
"And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's meant to be broken I just want you to know who I am."
"So so what I'm still a rock star I got my rock moves And I don't need you And guess what I'm havin' more fun And now that we're done I'm gonna show you Tonight I'm alright I'm just fine And you're a tool, so So what I am a rock star I got my rock moves And I don't want you tonight."
"They say all teenagers scare The living sh*t out of me They could care less As long as someone'll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they'll leave you alone, but not me."
"Don't want to be an American idiot. One nation controlled by the media. Information age of hysteria. It's calling out to idiot America. Welcome to a new kind of tension. All across the alien nation. Where everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams of tomorrow. We're not the ones who're meant to follow. For that's enough to argue."

[size=7pt] The unappealing aroma of sewage found Elijah's nostrils, waking him from his slumber. He opened his dark brown eyes, now crusty and blurry, and found nothing but darkness to welcome him back into the present. At first he was alarmed, now fully awake and scrambling up onto his unsteady feet. He felt damp stone under foot, not wet enough to be slippery but not the best for traction, and of course still saw nothing and smelled the same disgusting odor. The only sound was the pounding of his own fast heartbeat and the soft scuffle of his feet against the stone. Where was he? That was the question, and an unanswerable one without light to see his surroundings. "W-who's there?." Elijah almost jumped, startled by the sudden voice that sounded loud only because it had broken the complete silence. In reality it had been a soft and anxious whisper, a bit more feminine sounding as well. "Um...me, Elijah Drake." He was too scared at the moment to be his usual sarcastic self, and under the circumstances it really wouldn't have helped. Elijah couldn't see anything and had no I dea where he was, so it would probably be best to cooperate with others for once. There was a sharp intake of breathe and hysterical muttering until he finally heard another intelligible response. "My boy, Elijah, i-its.....you? Where are you?! I-wait a minute. No, it can't be. You've been too far gone for so long....WHO IS THERE!!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT!!?." One second the voice was shocked, almost happy, the next suspicious, then started full on screaming in rage. Elijah's eyes opened wide and he quickly started backing away from the voice, all the while screaming back that he was who he said he was. "I-i am Elijah, what are you talking about? Im sorry, im sorry!." Then his eyes started to adjust and he could just make out the out-line of a person, slumped over with their knees tucked to their chest and their arms wrapped around them. He started to hear sniffleing, then loud sobbs. He saw the person shake, the sobbs racking their body. "Jacob, shut her up!." Suddenly Elijah heard yet another voice, this one deeper and more resonant, as well as nastier, with spite woven into every syllable. But somehow the voice sounded slightly familiar. He shook his head, tears rolling down his cheeks. This had to be a dream, a horrible, twisted dream. Footsteps sounded from above Elijah, where the nasty voice had came from. He began to hear whistling as well, and then heard the jangling of keys. A screech rang out, sounding like the opening of a rusty gate, and suddenly light was in Elijah's view. It was coming from a door-shaped gap in the wall he had backed up to. So he was in a room! Thank god, at least he could confirm that now. He glanced around and saw the person he had been conversing with. It appeared to be a woman, as he had thought, but her face was hidden behind a mop of greasy black hair. She was still hunched over and wailing. He looked around the room some more and found it was a small, barren space with stone everything. Stone walls, floors, everything. And the only foreseeable exit was the doorway opening he currently stood beside. Elijah looked back at the light. Soon he saw the light came from a lantern, and the man holding that lantern looked scary as he*l. He was extremely buff, with biceps as large as Elijah's head. His face was almost square shaped, his head shaven to a buzz-cut, and his eyes small and brown. He had a scowl on his face and wore a nice, crisp black suit and tie. He was very tall, probably more then six foot, and towered over Elijah and the woman. "Shut up, Laura," the man growled. Elijah assumed his name was probably Jacob, the man the nasty voice had ordered to "shut her up". The woman, apparently Laura, continued to sob. Wait a second.......Laura is my mom's name, Elijah thought, frowning slightly, but he didn't dwell on the thought. He was now standing in front of the doorish hole in the wall, Jacob walking towards him. He wondered why the man hadn't yelled at him yet, or demanded to know why he was here. But he just kept coming, and soon was so close he would bump into Elijah. Elijah frowned deeply, puzzled. Why was he acting as if he couldn't see him? Then it happened. Jacob didn't bump into him, he went through him. Elijah's mouth was open and he felt a tingling sensation, but other then that he was fine, just shocked. He turned around. Jacob was growling at Laura, unaware he had just walked through a teenage boy. An apparently invisible and intangible boy. Elijah really needed to figure out where he was. "I SAID SHUT UP!." Jacob kicked Laura, but that only made her bawl louder. He growled again, and Elijah heard more footsteps from above. He soon heard another screech of protest from most likely a gate, and more footsteps. He peered down the doorway. It was a dark tunnel leading into blackness, but he could hear the footsteps getting louder and louder, closer and closer. Elijah turned his attention back to the giant and the woman when Laura cried out louder then ever. He rushed over to her, crouching down beside her, actual concern etched deep into his handsome features. "Are you okay?, he whispered, tears threatening to gush out. This was to much. He had no idea where he was, who these people were, and how he had even gotten here. No one could see him or even touch him, only hear him, and the situation was just all too scary! But then, he saw her face. Pale skin, rosey cheeks, pink lips, high-cheek bones, sky blue eyes and silky raven black hair. It was....his mother. Yes, he did remember her. He still could somewhat picture her face from when he was 3 years old, and he had seen pictures of her, or at least the pictures Professor X had of her. She was glancing around wildly, searching for the source of the voice. "You, liar, where are you?!!!," she began to scream, getting up and searching all over. She ran around the room, screeching and waving her hands around. Elijah backed up, eyes wide and mouth open. Jacob restrained Laura, grunting as he did, and turned to face the doorway. "Mother?." That was all Elijah could get out, and in a faint whisper. The woman he had longed to know all his life was now before him, beaten and almost insane, by the looks of it. Suddenly though, he saw something even more shocking, even more unbelievable. A tall, dark and handsome man emerged from the darkness of the doorway and into the light of Jacobs lantern, which he still held in one hand, the other restraining an again weeping Laura Drake. The man, it was....him. Elijah couldn't believe it, and honestly his brain didn't want to, but he couldn't possibly deny it either. That was him, mabey an older version, but still him. The older Elijah stood tall and confident, black robes like silk shadows. There was an evil smirk on his face and a dangerous glint in his eye. The younger Elijah just stared, mouth open even wider and eyes as big as saucers. Where the he*l was he???? "So, mother, long time no see, Hmmm? Now whys that I wonder?." The older Elijah spoke, voice deep and resonant. The voice younger Elijah had heard from upstairs. The same malice was there, every word dripping with it. Laura just stared at him, her once radiant and beautiful eyes now dull and lifeless. "Well, how about we just forget about that for a moment. How about we talk about the elephant in the room." Suddenly the older Elijah's eyes were boreing into the younger Elijah, a knowing smirk on the robed ones face. "You know, its not very polite to easedrop. And I also trust, that you know this is your future. Congratulations, your going to be me."
----------------------------------
Elijah woke up gasping for breath. He bolted out of bed, sweaty and and hot. Thank god, it had been a dream. A really vivid dream, but still a dream. "I really need to stop eating a crap load of f*cking candy before bed," he muttered, resting his head in his hands. He ran a hand through his black hair and then just stood there in the middle of his room, thinking about his dream. He had actually seen himself, himself in the future, and he was evil, no doubt about it. And I trust, that you know this is your future. The words echoed in his head over and over, like a repeating tune. "It was just a dream," he muttered over and over, trying to convince himself. Sighing, he walked over to the closet he had filled with clothes just yesterday. Dressing in a black Nirvana t-shirt and black skinny jeans, he messed up his hair a little and then walked out of his room and down the hall, to the kitchen. He was still thinking about his dream, trying to convince hinself there was no meaning behind it. But......it had just been so vivid. And his mom, Elijah's mom, she had been there. Walking into the kitchen Elijah saw Chloe and Edgar at the table, eating their breakfast. He heard Chloe tell Edgar something and smirked, walking over to a cabinet. "The reason he's so psycho is because your face was the first thing he saw in the morning, im guessing. Or mabey because he's in a house full of mutant crack-heads, with one sane person, me. Or mabey it's simply because he's worried to death about his parent. Honestly, I could care less. But this is a fun guessing game, isn't it?." Elijah turned to glance at Chloe then Edgar, the smirk still on his face. Then he grabbed Frosted Flakes and chocolate from the cabinet and sat down.
