She pulled out her map and took a quick look at it, pointing at the dot where Mauville City was. "Alright, let's head there first... It's the closest city. There's probably cool Pokemon to catch along the way, too!" She marched off down the road, Sage bounding along beside her.

Gracepaw flicked her tail at Barleypaw when Thornfur wasn't looking, acknowledging her friend. She continued the tiring training her mentor put her through for several more minutes before he took her off to hunt and patrol.
Briarnose purred loudly and licked her new siblings pelts to get them moving. She had three healthy siblings; two males and one female. Her mother gave her the privilege to name one, and one of the males was now known as Cougarkit.

Briarnose flicked her ear and purred in amusement. "Come on, Eveningwaltz, everyone knows I'm the best out of all my siblings," She teased. Rosefall rolled her eyes at her daughter and gathered up her new litter to feed.

Briarnose said goodbye to her mother and followed Eveningwaltz out of the nursery. "I wonder if we're on hunting or patrolling duties today," She meowed.

Terrakit watched Rebelkit and Timekit enter the elders den and stalked behind them as quietly as she could. When she reached the entrance, she pounced on Timekit, knocking him over into the fresh moss and scattering it outside. "Gotcha!" She mewed proudly, puffing out her chest.

Terrakit grinned at Timekit and ducked when he tried to swat at her. She turned to look at the elder and eagerly bounded over, settling down to listen to the story.
