Briarnose glanced up at the leaders as they scrambled up onto their rock. She listened to the reports and soon got bored as they rambled on.
Gracepaw sat obediently beside her mentor, Thornfur, but she longed to go speak with apprentices from other Clans. She saw Barleypaw talking to a few and was annoyed that her mentor was so strict.
Briarnose hissed playfully at Eveningwaltz before turning her attention back to the leaders.
Gracepaw took a few steps backwards before slipping into the bushes and trying to quietly make her way over to Barleypaw and the other apprentices.
"Thornfur is way too strict..." She meowed, sitting beside him. She glanced around at the other Clan apprentices; only the ShadowClan apprentice was watching her, and he was giving her a hostile glare.
"He'll probably notice and scold me after the Gathering is over," She answered. The ShadowClan cat continued to glare at her and she glanced at him. "Why are you staring at me?"
Gracepaw nodded, blinking in slight confusion at his switch of moods. "I've only been an apprentice for half a moon," She responded shyly.
"Hey, wait!" Gracepaw said quickly, getting a few looks from the older cats around them. "Why don't you stay? A Gathering is for meeting with other Clan cats..."
Gracepaw stared at the apprentice for a moment longer before turning her attention to the leaders, who were jumping off the rock, to Barleypaw. "Yeah, that was strange..." She said distractedly.
She nodded again and headed off back to Thornfur, who scuffed her across the ear and lectured her about the importance of Gatherings. She flattened her ears sullenly but let him lead her off back towards camp.
Briarnose flicked Eveningwaltz with her tail as she stood up and stretched. She meowed goodbye to her friends and padded off after RiverClan.
Briarnose purred at Eveningwaltz's words. "Yes, Gatherings are quite something. I bet Barleypaw had a great time!"
Briarnose purred and flicked her tail. "Yeah, that's true. And I could sleep right here on the dirt!" She padded slowly to the den, stretching once before disappearing inside.
Gracepaw nodded and curled up in her nest. Her three siblings watched her with angry glances and she turned away to avoid them. "Good night, Barleypaw," She mewed, closing her eyes and falling quickly into sleep.
Gracepaw was already out in the training hollow, going through her punishment. She had to train and practice hunting all day, then take care of the elders when she returned to camp. She yawned and stumbled through yet another battle move.
"Gracepaw! Focus! If you didn't sneak away from me during the Gathering, you would be sleeping in your den right now. This is from your own fault."
Briarnose blinked sleepily as some cat prodded her awake. "Briarnose! Come quick! Rosefall is having her kits!" At her mother's name Briarnose stood and bounded towards the nursery, all sleepiness gone. She slipped inside before the medicine cat could protest and sat by her mother's side.

Personality: Fiery and stubborn, like most of her family, although around people she knows she's rather calm. She loves nature and Pokemon.
Brief History: Grew up surrounded by Pokemon when she was young since her mother was a Coordinator and her father was a Pokemon breeder. She helped care for all the Pokemon and found that she liked grass Pokemon the most.

Chandra stared in wonder at the port city of Slateport. She stood on the top deck of the S.S. Aqua, her journey from the Johto Region to the Hoenn Region coming to a close. Her only Pokemon- a Chikorita by the name of Sage- poked her head out of Chandra's bag. "Chi Chikorita!" She called. Chandra smiled at her Pokemon and didn't notice that the cruise had docked and people were leaving. "Let's go, Sage! We're at Slateport!" She pushed past some people and ran off the ramp; pausing on the dock to examine her surroundings. "Here we go... Are you ready, Sage? Our journey is finally beginning!"
