HEAD FOR THE MOONPOOL! IT'S THE FARTHEST AND SAFEST PLACE WE KNOW! Ruffleclaw yowled. He gripped Coreclaw's scruff in his teeth and then raced into the forest toward the Moonpool. The water crashed through, knocking over trees and scattering them everwhere. He said a silent prayer to Starclan that the other cats were safely on their way.

Ruffleclaw dropped Coreclaw by the Moonpool. "Stay here, I'll go and get the others" he raced back to the flooded gathering. He grabbed Jabberpaw's scruff and yowled to Mockingpaw. TO THE MOONPOOL!

Ruffleclaw sits by Coreclaw. "Everything will be okay.....he whispers. He sees most of the cats arriving to the moonpool. Surely Starclan would allow them to shelter here?

Ruffleclaw's heart sinks. He all the sudden felt sick to his Stomach. Where was Lemonfeather and Everstar?

Ruffleclaw yowled to the cats at the moonpool. "ALL CATS WHO ARE NOT SICK OR INJURED PLEASE FOLLOW ME WE NEED TO RESCUE THE CATS WHO WERE LEFT BEHIND!"

Ruffleclaw dashes through the saoked marsh until he reaches the gathering. Huge waves slamed against the hollow. He needed to find the remaining cats before they were swept away or drowned!

Ruffleclaw made a list in his mind.

Mudkits being saved,
Lemonfeather needs help,
Everstar needs help,
Everpaw and Greenpaw need help,
Tiger needs help,
Oh Starclan how am I supposed to save all these cats at once?

Ruffleclaw's fur was drenched with tangy, salty sea water. He dived down to grab Greenpaw's scruff. He raced through the forest. When he reached the moonpool, he dropepd Greenpaw next to Mockingpaw,Everpaw, and Jabberpaw. Then he raced back looking for Lemonfeather.

Ruffleclaw spat out salty water. His muscels were shaky. He felt as if he couldn't move,

What kind of hero am I?

Anger pulsed through him and with a sudden burst of strength, he grabbed Lemonfeather's paw and burst to the surface. He dragged her to the moonpool and set her down next to the other cats who were recovering.

Ruffleclaw rasped. "I think thats all........ all the cats are saved" Ruffleclaw fell on his side. "We've done it.....

Ruffleclaw made furious scratch marks in the earth around the moonpool. He dragged brambles around the cats who were sheltering at the moonpool. Then he collapsed. In the midst of swirling cats, caterwauling and crying for help. He was dreaming with Starclan.

Thistletail sees the cats fighting and rols her eyes.

Thistletail jumps in front of TriGun. "Theres a truce!"

Thistletail sits down and waits for the gathering to begin.
