Rubyheart was about to jump quickly when the dog clawed her flank. Rubyheart let out a yowl and leaped. She landed on the dog's head. 13/30 1/3

Rubyheart clawed the dog's ears and head, and it ran away screeching. Rubyheart quickly jumped off and landed on a colorful egg. She picked it up and added it to her pile. 14/30 1/3

Rubyheart swept the pile around with her tail. She quickly looked around before anything popped out. She began to stretch her sight to look. 15/30 1/3

Rubyheart saw an egg in the distance. She leaped toward it. A rabbit got in her way and she almost broke the egg. "That mouse-brain!" Rubyheart growled. 16/30 1/3

Rubyheart leaped for the rabbit and aimed to claw it. The rabbit saw her and looked for a place to hide. "Take this!" Rubyheart yowled and clawed it. 17/30 1/3

Rubyheart saw the rabbit leap away. "At least the egg isn't broken." Rubyheart knew this was an event that happened year after year, and she had experienced something breaking her eggs. She had participated since she was an apprentice. 18/30 1/3

Rubyheart walked under some rocks after adding the egg to her pile. Something bumped her on the head. "Ow!" She yelped. An egg had fallen from the rock and hit her on the head. 19/30 1/3

Rubyheart picked up the egg carefully with her teeth and dropped it in her pile. She saw something moving in the rocks. "It's a badger!" She growled and unsheathed her claws. 20/30 1/3

Rubyheart watched the badger waddle out of it's burrow. She leaped without warning, and in a flash she was on the ground. The badger grunted and was ready to claw her. 21/30 1/3

Rubyheart sprang up and clawed the badger's stomach. She quickly ran to leap on the badger's back. The creature seemed to be confused. 22/30 1/3

Rubyheart leaped onto the badger's back. She hung on with her hind claws. She clawed the creature with her front claws. 23/30 1/3

Rubyheart quickly added the egg to her hidden pile. She started through some bushes for some other eggs. Rubyheart kept her claws a bit unsheathed just in case. 25/30 2/3

Rubyheart felt some leaves scratch her pelt. When she got out of the bushes, she licked her fur. Rubyheart kept alert while she licked her fur. 26/30 2/3

Rubyheart started off west, looking for one last special egg. She was longing to finish the hunt. Often, the Twolegs hid the eggs in obvious places. 27/30 2/3

Rubyheart stared at the clearing she came to. It was egg heaven! Eggs were in bushes, on the ground, in the trees. "This is the place I got my eggs before!" Rubyheart realized. 28/30 2/3
