Ilcain felt his appearance become masked by Lilian's spell, and he made a mental note to thank her once they were safe. The town was quiet now, with only a few lights on. Ilcain instinctively grasped the girl's hand and led her to his hideaway- the same small, unassuming home he had visited before. He knocked on the door and let himself in, finding the house quiet. There was a note hanging off of the door to the empty bedroom, saying:
"Mallowburne,
There's only one bed, so you and the girl decide how you want to sleep. Don't wake me up, and don't cause too much trouble.
L"
The soldier smirked a little bit as he took the note and entered the unoccupied bedroom. There was one bed, a nightstand with a lamp, and a small chest of drawers for clothing, which neither of the two had at the moment, other than what they had on their backs. He turned back to Lilian and asked, "Since there's only one bed, would you rather I sleep on the couch?"

OOC: My schedule has been (pardon my language) absolutely f*cked, I apologize. I'm done with most of my school stuff now, as MCAS just finished up today and the musical ended recently, so I should be back to responding as much as I can. Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience
IC: The Specialist smiled and pushed the kinetically-held seeds and vines away. Under his lab coat was a layer of specially designed ballistic weave that acted as armor for the lead scientist. The weave came up to about the knuckle of his thumb and was just visible under his lab coat as he forced the plants away. "Good, I'm glad you were convinced. Go around, explore a bit if you wish. You and the rest will be getting a full, formal tour later today. I figured you would all want some rest before we began testing."
Alexander stepped into his designated chamber, which was a fully earthen room with a small amount of metal scattered within the walls. His 'test' this time was to try to pull a large chunk of iron and lead to the left and right of him.

Ilcain chuckled. "You look like you're about to crash hard. Lay down, if you need anything I'll be in the living room." He said, sitting her down at the edge of the bed and stepping out of the room. He sat down on the couch and pulled out his old pager, which had been turned off. The soldier was somewhat surprised that his former employers hadn't attempted to track him down using the built-in GPS, but at the same time he was thankful. He stepped out of the house, into the open air, and walked away toward the edge of town, where he knew there was a small lake. Once he reached the lake, he took the pager and threw it into the water, watching it sink and spark a little bit. He walked back to the house and sat back down on the couch, slowly falling into a light sleep.

Ilcain was in the small kitchen, cooking eggs and bacon. He had taken off his military gear and was wearing simple jeans and a tight-fitting tee-shirt. The shirt showed a fair amount of muscle, but he still had a somewhat slender frame. His head turned toward the bedroom at the mention of his name, and upon seeing Lilian he smiled a bit. "Good morning. You look like you slept well." He joked, turning back to the stove and pushing the scrambled egg yolks around so they didn't stick to each other. "I hope you like your eggs scrambled and your bacon crispy, because that's what I'm making."
