OOC: Errr, just thought I'd pop in here real quick. Gravelstar is played by Wolfin. Unless you're playing a different Gravelstar, I think you should probably message her to ask her to join in or if you can play her character. You can see a list of all the higher ups and their roleplayers -->here<---.
IC: The wind blew.

Benny was resting in the sun cast from a window in the nest. His eyes half closed, he was aware of it all. The tom stretched and started towards Mint. "I'll go hunting." He said, yawning slightly as he shook his pelt.
Flint narrowed their eyes as the group seemed to be getting along. It was good, most definitely. The monarch was smelly, not groomed and looked ragged. But Flint would happily beat off any cat that thought they'd lead a better group. "Don't hurt that kit, Forest." Flint growled in a gravelly voice. Amber eyes surveyed the small group, one day they'd grow to a large, large size. "Eclipse, Benjamin - don't forget to take those younger cats out for training today." The gray cat added, moving around the middle of the house. A light breeze made Flint's stench waft around the room, and the gray cat started to head off towards their room.

Smoky grinned, relaxing a bit. "That's good. Wanna hunt?"
-
Smoky tensed, then licked her back. He was happy.

His amber eyes flickered with doubt as he wondered if he really wanted to know. But as she dove into her story, he knew it was too late. He was curious, and he made himself seem as friendly as possible. He wondered how she could have broken the code. Cloudpaw was younger than him, he was amazed that she went to the Moonstone. He thought only leaders and medicine cats shared dreams there. But he couldn't see why it wouldn't work for normal cats too.
As she spoke about being in love with the loner tom, he felt an odd feeling. It took him a bit to realize it was jealousy. Though he played it off as jealousy for her being so in love. That is, until she spoke of the tom abandoning her. His eyes darkened in anger. "What a foxheart." He scowled, his tail brushing her shoulder in empathy. He had never been in love, so he couldn't know how she felt. But he could guess how bad it would hurt to have someone you love betray you. "I'm sorry that happened to you. I could never imagine doing that to someone like y-er... someone I loved." Longpaw blinked in embarrassment.
"I guess one of the perks of loving someone in your own clan is that you can always hunt them down when it doesn't work." The gray and white tom joked, a slight shrug as he tried to awkwardly lighten the mood.
OOC: x3 Longpaw is such a meany about everyone. xD It's good she's so nice. Poor kitty, though. I saw your maroon text! xD

[shadow=black,left]Heronkit[/shadow]
[shadow=darkgreen, left]When all the birds are singing in the sky, now that the spring is in the air,
With the flowers everywhere, I wish that we could both be there...[/shadow]The small she-cat was a bundle of energy, most of the time. She was as normal as the ground below her paws. Ever changing, but always known and expected. Heronkit didn't pay a whole lot of attention to other cats, at least, when they were being as quiet as Monopaw! Her days were filled with normal kitten antics, and of course, her favorite pastime. Which was sitting at the entrance and greeting warriors and apprentices. However, right now, she was keeping out of the way. The tabby was truly a blank slate, no doubt she'd pick up habits from whatever mentor she got.
Her ears twitched as she noticed the apprentice near by. He was a dull looking tom, a slight smile on his muzzle. She would have approached and greeted him, but he was quicker. Heronkit was surprised to be spoken to by an apprentice she didn't know. But she was just glad to have some company. She grinned sheepishly at him. "You think so? I've been practicing a lot!" Heronkit enthused, not caring that his voice was so quiet. For now, at least. Give her a minute, and she'd question a cat about all it's flaws. Though in her innocent nature, she figured it was more rude to pointedly ignore them.
"Bet you catch much more than moths now, though!" The silver tabby added, beaming at him as she relaxed into being happy again. She covered her moth with dirt, a tiny bug funeral. The she-cat silently thanked Starclan for her 'prey', but keep her green eyes on the tom.
OOC: No worries! ^^

I can't wait to rp with everyone! -triple checks to make sure her name was called- If the name Valentine isn't fine, I'm more than happy to change it. I just saw lots of 'Val' type names in the family tree, and figured it'd fit in alright.

[shadow=darkgreen, left]When all the birds are singing in the sky, now that the spring is in the air,
With the flowers everywhere, I wish that we could both be there...[/shadow]Her eyes grew as round as saucers as he replied. The hyper kit gaped at the tom. "That's so cool! I can't imagine being anything but a warrior. But you must have a lot of respect for being a medicine cat apprentice." She enthused loudly, of course, she didn't notice the she-cat. Her nose and ears were still kitten weak. Though when a voice sounded from the shadows, she jumped. She stared in fear, until the she-cat emerged. "Oh hi! I'm Heronkit!" The tabby introduced herself happily.

[shadow=black, right]If happy ever after did exist...[/shadow]He raised an eyebrow as seemed to be excited about the prospect of going near the border. He could only assume it was the idea of fighting. "You wouldn't be fighting, you won't be in a fight until you've learned some moves. May as well as kill you myself if I let you fight an enemy clan patrol." He growled sternly, but only so he could lay down the law. It really would be murder to let the kit fight in a battle so soon. They reached the border sooner than he expected, but he took a deep breath. "What do you smell?"

[shadow=black, right]If happy ever after did exist...[/shadow]The warrior purred in response, pleased she was so happy. Though an idea formed in his mind, it wouldn't hurt. "Come on, let's go hunting. The clan could use more fresh kill, you could probably do with a stretch to your legs." He meowed, standing up to let her know it was more than a request. She had likely done little today, she couldn't do much without a mentor.

[shadow=black, right]Oh, everybody's starry eyed, and everybody knows...[/shadow]The puppy waited as Umbra spoke to him again. As she explained it, he found his melancholy drifting away. It wasn't long before his tail was wagging. The idea of fighting and hunting was too tempting to pass up on. "Okay. I'll come with you." His tone was brave, for he was a strong, brave one. For sure. Well, the brave part was true.

With the flowers everywhere, I wish that we could both be there...[/shadow]Her head turned towards Snowfall as the warrior spoke. It was a little hard to hear her, but the wind made her listen closer. "There's not much room in the camp to try." She shrugged lightly, she'd never been able to try to run.

Benny nodded, following Mint as she led the way. The whole group dynamic worked well for him. He liked that while she-cat's were taken care of, the toms were made use of as protectors and guards. It gave him room to flex his muscles. "Where shall we hunt?" It felt a little awkward, considering she'd been chosen to have kits with Ash not twenty minutes before. But he could handle it.

I'm looking for a plot for my Riverclan apprentice. Her bio. She is 7 moons, black and white with violet eyes and is a wet rag.
Her parents are always fighting and are obsessed that Burdockpaw should be a medicine cat(mother) or a warrior(father). Her sister is sort of just left in the dust, because she was second born. I'd like someone to maybe rp her family? She's best friends with her sister, and afraid of her parents.
Let 'em rip!

He wondered if talking about the loner brought up past hurt and feelings. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Though Longpaw narrowed his eyes as she blamed herself. When he disowned his brother and sister, they had done something unforgivable in his eyes. The gray and white cat flicked his ears uncomfortably, what could he say? Though he decided trying to lighten the mood might be his best bet.
"You're not a fun cat now." He teased, bumping her in a friendly manner. An uneasy smile on his face, like he was about to vomit. He did feel queasy, but he hadn't eaten any crowfood that he knew of. "Whether you were fun or not is not a reason to abandon you. I'd say the reason was all him, rogues are unreliable." He shrugged, frankly - he was surprised she wasn't angry with him. Weren't she-cats supposed to be monsters when they'd been scorned?
OOC: xD I would too. Yeah, I figured. Isortofstalkedherthreads. >> <<

[shadow=darkgreen, left]When all the birds are singing in the sky, now that the spring is in the air,
With the flowers everywhere, I wish that we could both be there...[/shadow]Her interest in the Medicine Cat apprentice was limited with the skittish she-cat making her appearance. She cocked her head to the side in confusion. "I'm small too! Just cause you're small doesn't mean you won't be a great warrior." She was honestly confused, and she wasn't even trying to make the she-cat feel better. Heronkit actually believed that. The silver tabby had her blunt moments, but at least this time it was nice.

[shadow=black, right]If happy ever after did exist...[/shadow]Oatfleck didn't watch for Blackpaw's reaction to being given a stern warning. The apprentice would thank his mentor when he lived to receive his warrior name. The warrior nodded as he tried to guess what Sunclan smelled like. It was a strange clan scent, he gave Blackpaw that. "Very good. As we walk their border, we'll be coming up to the Riverclan border and Sunningrocks. What do you know about Sunningrocks?" He said calmly, leading the way near the Sunclan border. Sunningrocks could still be a source of contention between the two clans. But for now, it was Thunderclan's.

[shadow=black, right]If happy ever after did exist...[/shadow]Oatfleck smiled slightly as she followed. He knew it wasn't exactly the most exciting prospect. But he figured once she learned to hunt, she could better help her clan. "We'll hunt by Tallpines. There should be something worth catching there." Oatfleck meowed, leading the way at a brisk pace.
