❋ She eyed the medicine cats offering disdainfully, disappointed that that's all he was willing to give her. She wasnt so much having trouble sleeping anymore, the herbs Oceanpaw had readily supplied saw her sleeping almost too much the last while. It was during the waking hours that her anxieties vexed her, she was always one pawstep away from utter panic. "Thank you." She mewed, trying to sound grateful as she lapped up the herbs. There wasnt anything in particular that always had her on edge, it's just how she was, and had always been- afraid of her own shadow.

❋ Lightpaw came hurrying over, her round mint green eyes clouded with concern. Thank goodness, the missing kit had been found safe and sound. She cowered back a bit at the sight of the stranger, peering around their deputy with timid curiosity. This cat was quite round, but had a very kind, nurturing air to her. Despite the small apprentice being anxious around nearly every cat, even her own clanmates, something about this molly made her feel more at ease
Perhaps it was her kind eyes, or her gentle demeanor. Something about her felt familiar and comforting. "speech"

❋ The small, woolly apprentice sat nearby among the undergrowth, watching the spectacle with her huge, starstruck mint green eyes. To her these were feats of glory and grandeur, and she was very easily impressed by anything the black tom did. She looked on in wordless admiration as he began his descent with his catch. She wanted to call out to him, say something clever, but she couldn't, of course she couldn't. Youre such a coward. Nobody will ever look twice at you if you cant even look them in the eye. "speech"

❋ At the me tion of her mentor, Lightpaw darn near melted. "Oh, hes wonderful!" " She gushed, her big eyes dazzling. Whiteheart was on of the few cats she felt comfortable with, and viewed him as a father figure. On top of that, she admired and looked up to him greatly- he could do no wrong in the naive young apprentices eyes. At the mention of sparring with her denmate, she became flustered. She would like very much to spend time with Shadepaw, but she was terrified of the prospect. She didnt want to make a fool of herself with how little battle training she had had, and she really wanted to impress the tom.

❋ The pint sized apprentice couldn't help but feel a bit offended- it seemed to her that Whoteheart had invited her because she was small. It was true, she was quite small, Even at nearly 8 moons, she was around the same size as Juniperkit and Frogkit wasnt far behind. She fluffed her fur up indignantly in an attempt to appear larger. ❋ The small fluffy apprentice slunk timidly out of the apprentices den, crouching low to the ground and keeping her head down as she went. She found a shaded spot among some cool ferns of to the edge of the clearing and watched the clan meeting unfold before her and the ever growing throng of cats. At the mention of the women she pinned her ears and tucked down even lower, looking up nervously as if she expected the sky itself to fall down on them.
We will be answering Starclans call to go to the new territory they've envisioned for us.
Somehow, the prospect of leaving their old home behind didnt scare the ever fearful molly. No, it was the journey itself that filled her with dread. How long would they have to travel? How many lives would be lost? How did they know they would even find this fabled homeland? She found herself unable to catch her breath, and her vision grew spotty as her head began to spin. Oh, great... not this again! She kept it together long enough to hear the rest of Punpkinstrut's speech. Somehow, it made her more calm to know what they were leaving behind and was glad the clan hp's had decided to run instead of staying to see what would become of their home. "speech"

Lightbaby is eros. More aesthetically than anything, but also because she falls head over heels for literally any cat that even looks at her.

❋ Wow, what a catch! Crows were notoriously difficult to catch because of how clever they were, especially for smaller cats. Lightpaw was impressed- she looked at her paws shyly, her pelt even hotter than usual. "That was really good," She mewed softly, peering up at Shadepaw again.
-
❋ Lightpaw had been as terrified as Shadepaw felt, watching her friend descend precariously from the tree and anticipating his fall to the ground. She was both relieved and impressed when he landed seemingly effortlessly on all 4 paws. "Oh, I'm sure you're good at just about everything." She purred, all gooey eyed and starstruck as ever. She was more than happy to inflate the black Tom's ego.

❋ The skittish molly was initially startled by the feeling of someone press against her curls, but relaxed when she recognized the black pelt of her friend. She was glad to have him close by for comfort, she was sure every cat in the clan was struggling with the news. She leaned up against him and rested her head on his shoulder, still staring at Pumpkinstrut and hanging on her every word with wide, frightened eyes. "speech"

❋ Lightpaw cowered down slightly, concerned about her limited hunting abilities but eager to look good in front of her clanmate. She dropped into a hesitant hunters crouch and, with one more uncertain glance at Shadepaw she began to stalk the mouse. "speech"
-
❋ Lightpaw shrieked as Shadepaw darted forward, driving the mouse towards her. She wasnt ready, and With a panicked scrabble of paws the she cat tried to grasp the creature but it darted right through her outstretched claws and between her stubby legs, disappearing into the undergrowth. She whipped around in time to see it disappear into the ferns, a crushed expression on her face. Stupid furball! How could you miss that?! "Mousedung!" She spat with a defeated sigh, her pelt hot with embarrassment. She turned to her companion with her tail drooping, feeling bad for losing the prey and hoped he wouldn't be too angry with her. "Sorry, Shadepaw..." She muttered, shuffling her tiny White paws in the dirt. why can't you do anything right?!
-
❋ She padded after her denmate, taking tiny, rapid steps to keep up with his longer stride. "I'm not especially good at either yet..." She admitted, twitching her whiskers in embarrassment. "But probably hunting, so long as my stupid fur doesnt get snagged on anything." She shot a disdainful look at her unusual thick curly coat. She hated it, it was unruly and always looked unkempt it took forever to dry, it was stifling hot in green leaf, and she found it much less attractive than her sleek furred clanmates. She never thought she was a particularly good looking cat.
-
❋ Lightpaw was just returning from a hunt with a couple of her denmates. She was feeling quite proud of herself that she had tagged along with the other apprentices, and had really enjoyed herself despite her anxiety. She spotted the familiar, glaring white pelt of her mentor through the trees and padded peppily over to see what he was up to. She recognized the pelts of her clanmates as well, but stopped dead when she saw what they were huddled over. It was a kit, which unfortunately wasnt all that rare of a sight on their borders, so that wasn't what made this encounter so compelling. No, the tiny cat that crouched before them, though hers appeared to be dark brown and Lightpaws was pale gingery tan, had a distinctive, thick, curly coat. The timid apprentice couldn't say a word, all she could do was approach, wide eyed and awestruck. She had never seen another cat that looked like her before, and could hardly contain the emotions welling up inside. Is that what she looked like? She was so... cute! "speech"

❋ The small, fluffy molly padded up quickly, looking around nervously. She was familiar enough by now with receiving her weekly tasks that it didnt phase her nearly as much anymore as it had moons prior. She stood before the injured warrior, Mouseridge, and looked up at him expectantly. He knew why she was there, and hopefully he would give her something that didnt involve interacting with other cats again- She was much more useful on solo missions. "speech"

❋ She perked up slightly at the dark furred Tom's reaffirming words about her fur being beneficial in colder times. This was true, her clanmates did seem to want to sleep a little bit closer to her on cold nights- she put out heat like nobody's business. "That is true, I suppose. But I'm so small, I' get lost under the deep snow!" She squeaked with a shiver, mostly teasing. "But if you get cold, I'm definitely the cat you want to put your nest beside!" She purred, but then remembered how soon Shadepaw would no longer be her denmate, when he would move to the warriors den. The thought made her sad, but also a little silly for getting attached to him. He was going to be a Warrior soon, he'd have no interest in having her tag along after him all the time then. Or anything else, for that matter.
-
❋ Lightpaw felt her pelt grow hot with embarrassment. Such a thing to say, straight out of the mouths of babes. Nobody ever really called her "pretty", especially not a stranger. The woolly furred she cat couldn't help but purr, but she averted her eyes awkwardly. "Thank you..." She murmured, blushing even more at her mentor's agreement that both of the curly coated she cats were pretty. She wondered where this kit had come from, and if they had anything else in common besides similar pelts.
