❋ Is someone talking to me? No... why would any cat want to talk to me? The small fluffy she cat turned to see Loudpaw trotting o er with a friendly expression on her face. She looked around to see if there had maybe been some mistake, glancing at Valentine and then at the other molly approaching the pair. Okay, dont screw this up. Be cool. "Oh, h-hello, pawloud. I MEAN Loudpaw." Nailed it.

❋ Lightpaw was a very restless sleeper, plagued by anxiety and nightmares, she was often up overthinking at all eyes of the night and would slip out if camp to look at the stars and get some fresh air while the rest of the cat slept. That's where she was when the senior warrior came limping up sitting alone just outside the camp entrance. The perpetually nervous molly was startled at the sight of Briarheart out and about by herself at this hour. "What's going on?" She mewed, jumping to her paws.
-
❋ Lightpaws face suddenly dropped, thinking about her denmates. She hadnt had much nm opportunity to interact with any of them yet, but she had one a couple of ocassions conversed with Valentine, and Loudpaw had made friendly chit chat with her once or twice, but other than that she couldn't think of any cat she would consider a "friend". "Valentine." She responded at last, though she sounded uncertain. She didnt know if the other she cat even liked her or if she had just been friendly to her to be nice. Sometimes she didnt know if anybody liked her.

❋ Her mentor may have a appreciated the cool spray of the rain, and any cat may have assumed that Lightpaw, with her thick, woolly fur would feel the same, but that was not the case. Her dense coat took forever to dry, and she disliked having a waterlogged pelt weighing down her tiny frame. She whined a but, padding quickly to keep up with the much larger warrior. Why do we have to be out here getting our pelts soggy? And look, here comes a storm. Probably a tornado too. Well, I guess today is as good as any to die. "Whiteheart, I'm scared." She whimpered, looking at the dark, foreboding clouds rolling in. Storms were one of the cowardly Molly's many, many fears. She shrieked and darted into the undergrowth as lightning flashed across the sky, reflecting in her large seafoam green eyes.

❋ Lightpaw gave the herbs a wary look, then dipped her head and ate them up, grimacing. What an unpleasant combination of flavors! She swiped her tongue across her muzzle and wrinkled her nose. "Thanks." She murmured softly, making her way to the nest that Oceanpaw had gestured to. "I had a strange dream." She began hastily, wanting to bring it up before she became to drowsy. "I always have nightmares, but this seemed different. It was awful! Something about it made it seem very real, and important. Just a strong feeling I had when I woke up, I felt sick and still afraid, that somehow it meant something more than me having ate too close to bedtime. Do you think it might have been more than just a dream?"
-
❋ The dainty apprentice's jaws stretch open in a wide yawn, the herbs were beginning to take effect. "It was pitch black, and very gold. I couldn't see anything, no stars, no ground, no trees, nothing." She began, the memory of the dream already starting to fade away. "There was another cat there in the mist, a shadowy figure that I couldn't quite see. The thing I remember the most was the cold, the blackness, and the way I felt inside just pure dread. And that shadowy cat just standing there, taunting me." She shuddered, feeling the same chill all over again.

❋ The small, curly coated apprentice peered out at Sagepelt and the others who had gathered to greet him with warm congratulations. She felt her pelt grow hot as she watched admiringly from the shadows, not feeling confident enough to approach and offer any kind words herself. He doesnt even know you, why would he want some random weirdo all up in his business trying to talk to you? Sure, the pair had shared a den for the last moon or so, but they had never spoken or interacted much at all. And he was so handsome, he would have every pretty warrior molly fawning over him. ❋ Lightpaw remained restless, unsatisfied with the meddie apprentice's reassurance. Something inside of her knew it wasnt just a dream, and she felt that she couldn't just ignore it. "Do you suppose any other cat might know more about it?" She murmured, yawning again, her round mint green eyes growing heavy despite her concerns. "Maybe Flamestar?"

❋ The timid apprentice skittered through the forest alongside her mentor, the size difference between the two almost comical. She really had to put in effort to keep up with the big white warrior's loping strides.
Let's sneak up on Sundapple.
The idea made Lightpaw giddy with excitement and she narrowed her eyes, dropping into a haphazard hunters crouch. Then, Whitehearts demeanor changed, he became for alert, his tail flicking in annoyance. Oh, Briarheart was here too. Lightpaw knew her mentor had encouraged the injured tortoiseshell to stay in camp and concentrate on getting better from her snake bite. She looked up at the alabaster tom, feeling a bit anxious again as he scolded their clanmate.
At the sight of the tiny, dirty kit, Lightpaw gasped, her heart ppu sing faster. The poor thing! Where was his mama? What happened out here? Several emotions flooded into her brain at once- fear, anger, pity, curiosity. She looked between Sundapple and Briarheart for reassurance, but their dismal expressions offered her none.
Lightpaw can tell you how great it is.The curly furred she cat felt her pelt go hot with embarrassment at being put on the spot. She peered out from behind her mentors legs shyly, offering a somewhat friendly blink to the younger tom. "Its warm, and safe, and theres lots of food all the time, and big strong cats to protect you." She meowed simply, Not feeling especially enthusiastic given the circumstances but still wanting to encourage the kit to come with them.

//oh boy here we go xD
❋ Lightpaw slowly peered up at the black tom, her huge, starstruck seafoam green eyes wide and dazzled. She blinked and tilted her head to the side. Cute?? Me?! She couldn't help but purr, twitching her whiskers in embarrassment. Very seldom did any cat have anything so sweet to say to her, and even more seldom was it someone like Shadepaw. He was young, and handsome, and so very brave for saving her from the bugs. And he was staring right at her. She had never felt so big and so small at the same time, and couldn't find any words to say. "Eep... Er... Thank you..." She peeped quietly, her pelt feeling hot, her heart pounding as she gazed at the other apprentice admiringly. "For... for saving me, I mean."
-
❋ The young molly gave the tiny tom the most genuine smile she could muster, though to more experienced cats the concern in her eyes would give her away. Lightpaw in particular had huge, expressive eyes that always reflected what she felt inside. Usually, that was fear and anxiety. "Er, come along, Frog..." She meowed, trying to make her voice steady as her and Briarheart led him towards camp. She glanced over her shoulder uncertainly at her mentor and the pretty tortoiseshell form if Sundapple as they convened over what to do about the kit's poor mother. "What's your favorite kind of food? I bet we have anything you like."

hiyo, plot with Lightbaby?

❋ Frog's confession make Lightpaw grimace, struggling to keep herself from gagging. Did he eat the frogs because he actually liked the taste, or because he had never had a decent meal before and didnt know the difference? "Oh, well... I'm afraid we wont have any frogs. But we'll find you something even better." It was taking a great deal of emotional energy out of the apprentice to hold it together for the young Tom's benefit, she felt as if she was being buried alive in a collapsed fox hole.
-
❋ The petite she cat brightened at the invitation to join her new acquaintance on a hunting trip. "O-okay!" She chirped, trotting after him with her tail in the air like a lost puppy. Shadepaw certainly must be the finest hunter in the clan, for he was so very strong and brave.
-
❋ If Lightpaw was anything, it certainly wasnt "calm." The perpetually anxious she cat was always expecting something to go wrong, and tried to remain vigilant as best she could. She was sitting alone near the center of camp; a pair of her denmates had stolen her usual spot among the ferns near their den and she was feeling a bit out of place. She gazed around the camp feeling awkward and vulnerable out in the open, as if everyone was staring at her. Wait, there was someone looking at her- it was their Medicine cat, Oceanpaw. She looked around and behind her to see if the brown tabby tom was, indeed, looking at her before cocking her head to the side and returning his gaze. Did he need something? Did she have something in her fur? That was always happening, what with her dense, curly fur. She soun around and around, trying to see her own fur to check fir burrs but just ended up getting dizzy and tipping over, her short stubby like waving frantically in the air like a turtle stuck on its back. "Foxdung! This is embarassing! He saw everything..."
-
❋ Her body stiffened. Nooo, any cat but him! Now hes seen you floundering hes definitely not going to like you. She graciously accepted him paw and, with a bit more floundering, managed to right herself with no damage done other than to her self esteem and a significant amount of dust in her fur. She blinked appreciatively up at him, he had come to her rescue again. My hero! She leaned against the tom, her thick, fluffy fur squishing against him. "speech"

❋ Lightpaw shook her round head, the large curlicue on her forehead bobbing in comedic effect as she did so. "No, not at all. I've only been out with Whiteheart a pawful of times, and havent had any battle training yet. Just tours and patrols and stuff." She was blissfully unaware that Shadepaw didnt share her complete and total adoration for him; she would walk to the ends of the earth if he asked her to, and that was perhaps her biggest flaw of all... her complete lack of self esteem and how easily manipulated she was.
