Lightoaw stared up at her mentor, her starstruck seafoam eyes shingle with alarm. The idea of getting swept away with the dark, churning water filled her with dread and made her want to stay far, far away from it. And with her dense, curly coat she would get waterlogged and pulled under for sure. And who knows what great beasts could be lurking beneath the surface. She looked back towards the river and took a few side steps away from the bank, not wanting to take any chances. As Whiteheart described sunningrocks, she relaxed a bit. That did sound nice, especially on a day like today. "I'll bet Sundapple loves that place." She giggled, feeling only a little bit guilty for talking that way about one of her clan's warriors. She knew little about the tortoiseshell molly, aside from that she could be a bit of a slacker.

Lighpaw let out a startled squeak and spun around, her pelt fluffed up and her eyes wide as if she had been caught stealing prey. Drat, of all the cats she didnt want to draw attention from it was her mentor. "No, I, uh, yes I... I'm fine. Just... cant get back to sleep looking for some... something from... in-line there." She stammered, gesturing into the medicine den. She hated inconveniencing anyone, especially cats she didnt know very well. She already thought everyone was always cross with her for some reason or another, and disturbing already busy cats when they were trying to get much needed rest with trivial manners such as this didnt fall on her list of things she wanted to do. Perhaps she should wait until morning, afterall.

Lightpaw hopped to her paws at her mentors call, feeling a renewed sense of excitement at having been included in the patrol. Why shouldnt she have been included? Whiteheart was her mentor, afterall- it was his duty to take her hunting to teach her proper technique. But the perpetually anxious fluff always felt unwelcome and out of place, especially regarding the warriors. "Coming!" She squeaked, almost tumbling over her own paws and she raced to the camp entrance where the patrol was waiting. She looked up at all the unfamiliar faces of her clanmates and shrank back somewhat, her previously joyful expression now overcast and uncertain. She shuffled closer to Whiteheart, trying to conceal herself in his thick fur.

❋Lightpaw lingered back, her tail twitching nervously, waiting for the crowd of cats clambering to receive their tasks to die down before she approached. Then she saw him- the senior warrior she had encountered a moon before and made a fool over herself. Oh, poor Lightpaw- she was always mooning over somebody; every cat with nice eyes who smiled at her became her latest infatuation. Her heart began to beat faster. He's so handsome! And strong! And such a commanding presence! The truth was, the tom may not have even known her name, but it didnt matter to her. She was little more than a kit and would follow anyone to the ends of the earth for a bit of affirmation. Before she knew what was happening she scampered over and peered up at Stormchaser with her large, starstruck seafoam green eyes shining with admiration. "G... good morning..." She mewed softly, possibly too soft for anyone to even hear. She began to tremble. You're just saying hello to your clanmate, what's your problem? Calm down hes going to think you're weird.

ooh! Ooh! Me! Pick me! An uncharacteristic friendship starts between one of the smallest Thunderclan cats and the largest? Shes terrified of everything but after seeing him offer his prey up to a kit she is very curious about him and spies on him doing other nice things and then they become friends?!?!

I could see dapple being like, the clan gossip like shes always got her nose in everyones business and knows everything about everyone? I think that would be a unique character idea for her because shes always asking awkward questions and has no filter it kind of works for both character ideas you have here kind of snobby because of the gossip but annoying/bold because of the snooping?

Lighpaw froze and let out her trademark eep! of alarm as the warrior addressed her. She ducked down low to the ground and turned slowly to look at Mouseridge, as if she was asking if he was sure he was sure. Oh, oh, oh... be still my weak heart...She began to feel faint, seeing spots and staggered a bit before, in true dramatic Lightpaw fashion, she toppled over on her side, stirring up a cloud of dust. She was completely fine, of course... just overwhelmed.

Lightpaw felt relieved that she didnt have to wake any cat up on her account, for it was Oceanpaw that spoke up, already awake from the looks of it. The timid molly glanced up at Whiteheart once more for reassurance. She wouldn't say it, but she hoped the protective tom would go back to his nest so she could speak to the medicine cats in private. She took a deep breath and entered the small, cozy den. "Thank you..." She began softly, unsure of where to begin. She looked around her, thankfully she had never been in the medicine den before. The smell of herbs and other plants was strong in here, but it was soothing rather than overbearing. The dirt was soft and springy underpaw, probably from lack of sunlight she imagined. "I, uh, was looking for something to help me sleep." That was only have the truth, her real motive for coming was something else entirely.
-
Lightpaw had had no intentions of joining the voluntary training session with the 2 senior warriors, she was quite content to mill around camp tending to the elders or helping patch up the dens. But her mentor Whiteheart had other plans. Though he was quite busy with his own duties, he told her to go with a gentle shove towards the entrance to the camp, and be happy about the opportunity to learn from the 2 capable mollies. The timid apprentice slunk over, with a forlorn glance back at her mentor as she approached Briarheart and Pumpkinstrut waiting with the other apprentices.
-
Lightpaw followed Oceanpaw inside. She didnt know the other apprentice very well, given that they slept and trained separately and walked such different paths. But he seemed nice, and already a great medicine cat. She wasnt quite sure where to begin, but after a moment, she finally meowed "So, does Starclan walk in your dreams?" She meowed softly, trying to sound non chalant.

Lyla stared at her reflection in the girls room mirror. Her whole life, she had flown under the radar. It didnt help that she was so small with a baby face, everyone thought she must have been around 12 years old when really she was nearly 16. Tonight she planned on making an impression, spending more time than ever before getting ready. Much to her dismay, her strawberry blonde barrel curls and large, round mint green eyes and long lashes made her look like a living doll instead of the mature vixen she had envisioned. She sighed, defeated, and smoothed down her floofy, childish hand me down dress. Her parents hadnt been able to afford a new one. Very much like a doll, indeed. She hadnt even wanted to come, but her friends had convinced her she would regret it if she missed out on the prom. Now, seeing all the other girls in their formal attire, she felt even more out of place than usual. She didnt want to leave the washroom- maybe she could pretend she was sick and sneak out before any of her classmates saw her.
//hope it's okay if I jump in this was too much fun anthropomorphizing my characters

❋ Lightpaw had always been a bit of a loner. Not that she disliked others, but rather, had never found another that she was completely comfortable around. It always seemed too emotionally exhausting, like too much work, to try and socialize, so she learned to enjoy being in her own company.
On this particular day, she was watching a flock of birds fly overhead. It was beautiful out, clear blue sky, warm but not too hot, the gentlest of breezes ruffling her thick woolly fur. She smiled gently to herself, her tail flicking contentedly as her starry eyes were cast upward, she noticed neither the spider not her clanmate approaching until she felt his paw on her shoulder. She jumped and let out a squeak of alarm, her already poofy coat puffed out even more than usual. Shadepaw?
There was a spider on your shoulder. She shrieked and shuddered- she did NOT like spiders. Just then she spotted the creepy crawly skitter over one dainty white paw and she shrieked even louder, leaping into the air and scrambling behind the black tom. "GET IT! GET IT!" She wailed shaking herself violently as if she was covered with the multi legged creatures. She ran blindly into the undergrowth and hid in a clump of ferns, trembling and wide eyed.
-
❋ The anxious molly heard Shadepaw's call, but was too scared to move. She just crouched down, trembling, in a small crevice under a clump of ferns. Ironically, this would be the ideal hiding place for a whole array of creepy critters but did she consider that? Ha, not likely. She wanted to move, to stride out confidently and brush the dust off of her fur, but she couldn't seem to make her paws do what she wanted them to. That was Lightpaw- an aware and rational she cat trapped inside if this pitiful, vibrating shell. Scaredy-mouse. Good job, now every cat in the clan knows how useless you are. If you're afraid of spiders how are you going to stand up to a Bloodclan raid? How embarrassing. ❋

❋ The warriors' proposition made Lightlaw feel weak and ill. Were they trying to get them Ll killed? Her lungs felt as though they couldn't fill with air, her heart like it was going to break through her chest and flutter away, and her vision began to double and blur. She wondered if she could maybe back out now and run back to camp, all the usual excuses running through her mind- the elders need tending. The moss in the nursery needed to be changed. she didnt feel well. She thought she heard her mentor calling. No, none of these would work today. She only wished she could catch her breath but visions of giant monsters smearing her and her clanmates across the reeking pavement kept running through her mind. "I'm going to be sick!" " She murmered, but instead of her breakfast hitting the forest floor, Lightpaw did. Thud!
-
❋ The woolly furred she cat let out a low groan and opened her wide, mint green eyes to find herself staring into those of Serpentpaw. Lightpaw was, of course, fine with nothing bruised but her pride. She sat up abruptly, embarassed and ashamed, and shot an apologetic glance at Briarheart and Pumpkinstrut. "I'm sorry..." She murmured softly, feeling quite silly.
-
❋ Lightpaw's eyes grew wide and she let out a shrill scream as she darted out of the ferns, shaking heref all over is fear and disgust. EW! EW! EW! EW! Then her frantic shrieks turned into blubbery tears of embarrassment and just from being totally overwhelmed. She felt like she was driving in a whirlpool of bugs and creepy things and her heart just might stop. She curled up into a tight ball of fluff and covered her head with her tiny White paws. "speech"
-
❋ Lightpaw looked up at Valentine, giving her a sweet, appreciative smile but her eyes were still clouded with something like shame or sadness. You're a failure as a thunderclanner and you'll never be a warrior. "Thank you! " She squeaked after a moment, shuffling her tiny White mittens in the dirt.
