She heard a another sound. It was a gray squirrel which was searching for berries on the ground.
-
Dreamstar crouched silently, looking at the squirrel.
-
She darted towards the squirrel and slashed it, but missed. The gray squirrel fled, far away from the silver cat. "Mouse dung!" she spat.
-
Dreamstar was determined not to lose this catch. She dashed after it, her claws extended.
-
The squirrel was running fast, Dreamstar noticed it was running near Crystalfall.
-
The squirrel darted into a bush near the waterfall. Dreamstar sighed, she'd never be able to catch this squirrel. Suddenly, the bush started to shake and make louder rustling noises. A small cat jumped out with the squirrel in it's jaws. The white and ginger-gold cat dropped the squirrel. The cat pushed the fresh-kill ,with her white paw, to Dreamstar. The rogue looked awfully small, yet skilled and healthy. The silvery-white she-cat blinked gratefully. "I'm Leaf," the young she-cat mewed. "What's your name?" she asked. Dreamstar didn't know if she should give any information to a rogue. "Well?" the young white-and-ginger she-cat persisted. "Dreamstar of DreamClan," she meowed finally. "DreamClan?" the ginger cat looked puzzled, "you mean the group of cats here?" Dreamstar nodded. "Oh, I'm sorry," the rouge mewed quickly, "I must be in your territory."
"It's fine, but," Dreamstar paused. Should I ask this young one to join us? she thought, we obviously need more warriors... "Would you like to join DreamClan?" Leaf froze. "I'm far too young to fight," Leaf pointed out. "I was only a kit a while ago," she mewed quickly, "until all my kin vanished..." Dreamstar felt pity for the young cat. "Would you?" she repeated. Leaf shook her head. "I-I'll think about it," she mewed, "but I'll leave your territory because your warriors may not like me here." She waved her tail as goodbye and ran off. Dreamstar dug her claws into the soil. She's a rogue, how does she know about my warriors?
That's how Leaf looks like. White she-cat with ginger-gold patches and glowing amber eyes. -
OCC: Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know I will not be on this site for about a week. I'll be going on vacation.
See you! -
OCC: If I get my hands -- paws on a computer, I'll go on this site. Right now, I just got on this old computer...I can't come on daily though because usually the computers are taken. :(
___Dreamstar picked up the squirrel the young rogue had caught her and went back to camp.
-
She put the fresh-kill onto the fresh-kill pile.
-
Dreamstar licked her paw and washed her face. She leaped back into her den and slept.
-
What a tiring day, Dreamstar thought before closing her misty blue eyes. I hope Leaf joins DreamClan, she seemed to know a lot about us. She yawned. She's a kit who has been through hard times, she thought, I wonder why her kin vanished...?
-
OCC: Thanks for telling me, ✖Iᴄᴇ! I'll add that in the "Alliances" section.
Dreamstar's POV:
Dreamstar woke up with a start. She opened her misty blue eyes. Then, the silver cat yawned and stretched.Leaf's POV:
Leaf yawned. It was just one day after she had been asked to join DreamClan by their leader, Dreamstar. Leaf did admit she was young, very young. She was around four to five and a half moons old. She was still amazed how she could take care of herself while most kits couldn't without the warmth of their mother. She sighed, she missed her kin, her family and friends... -
Leaf's POV:
Leaf blinked and looked around her den. It was a large den made of stone, with some sunshine coming through a few holes. There was no entrance, unless you knew where to look. It was actually a small opening that led outside, no cat could come in through that hole. Leaf was still a kit so obviously she'd be able to come through and out of the entrance. She kept some of her secret treasures hidden in her den, including her kin's secrets. She sighed, she missed them a lot. She was often stressed out, of course, because she lost nearly everything. -
OCC: I'm back from vacation guys!
_____________
Dreamstar's POV:
Dreamstar came out of her den. She looked around. She was going to practice some fighting skills with her apprentice. "Sorceresspaw!" she called.Leaf's POV:
The tiny kit scrambled to her paws. Leaf was like no other kit, she felt if she was already grown-up. She was mostly independent as usual, unless a passing loner or rogue would offer her something which happened quite often. After all, they thought she was too small to take care of herself and she was only a kit. -
Leaf's POV
Leaf flicked her tail irretatiably. I can take care of myself, she thought bitterly. If only my parents hadn't died...her thoughts trailed off. She tried to remember what happened to her parents. All she could remember was frighting noises. She could remember a voice...a one that was icy and cold, and then a fury of claws...
She shivered, just by thinking about it made her fur prickle. -
Leaf's POV
Leaf shook her head. I shouldn't be thinking about this now, she told herself, it's not important. -
Leaf's POV
Leaf stretched and padded out of her den. -
Leaf's POV
She looked around. Her den was right in front of the forest. But she was forbidden to hunt there. She knew better, DreamClan, a group of cats who lived there, would obviously drive her out if she caught any fresh-kill there. -
Leaf's POV
She'd had to wait out here. For prey to appear out of the forest. Even though Leaf would not love to, she had to. She'd rather be patient then risk her life to death. I must look stupid here, she thought bitterly, I mean waiting for prey, like that's ever going to work.
