    Plot

    With the dawn of the clans, came the birth of an era of peace and prosperity for all forest dwelling cats. The wilderness was a lush green safe haven for creatures great and small, with tall pines that reached high above one's head into complete oblivion, plentiful prey , and abundant wildlife. The three leagues that reigned over the forest, BlizzardClan, RageClan, and OwlClan, were both honored and held sacred for their bloodshed in the five moon war against Dark Forest. In that age, it was believed that the guardians were descended from StarClan themselves, sent to protect all living things in the vast territory in which Clans called home. No Clan, however, was so gifted as the legendary phantom of the forest, BlizzardClan. Every full moon, a BlizzardClan apprentice was chosen by StarClan to bear the power of the stars in his paws. Although, a selected few were born with these special abilities, which they could use to their advantage in battle. Sadly, little could prepare them for the new evil that had been unleashed into the forest, still lurking in its dark forbidden underbelly. This being had capabilities far beyond the knowledge of even the wisest elder. No living soul knew his real name, but some called him Taker. The primitive forest cats were now at extreme risk. Though, it has been foretold by the Clan scribes that there is one who wields a dark power far greater than Taker's. Yet this lone forest cat, who had been prophesied to one day bring the forest to its knees, was in a very weak and vulnerable state. Her name was Ember, a rogue she-cat only a little older than an apprentice and still completely oblivious to her hidden powers. If Taker were to find and kill her, stealing her given talents for himself, then the forest's last hope for a savior would be snuffed out.

    Religion;;
    StarClan
    Territory;;
    BlizzardClan is an elite, ancient cave dwelling league of bloodthirsty cannibals, living deep in the frosty wasteland of the snow capped mountains. Upon entering a narrow crevice at the base of the rocky mountainside, a long pathway stretches before your very paws, winding deeper underground and into the gloom of BlizzardClan camp. Nearing the end of the spiraling passage, you glimpse a grim, watery light fading into the cave's interior. Once you have taken your first pawsteps into the heart of BlizzardClan camp, you're overwhelmed by the immense heat created by the bubbling springs in the far corners of the spacious cavern. The source of the cave's eerie glow was in fact a small crack in its ceiling. You make your escape through another entranceway, a rugged path bending sharply at first and then leading upward into the sunlight. Elated to be flooded with the old forest scents, and now able to fully drink in the sun's rays, you decide to continue your exploration of BlizzardClan territory. The hunting grounds stretch to the far east, from their mountain's peak to the edges of the evergreen forest.
    What you should know;;
    A few of BlizzardClan's gifted warriors can wield the power of ice and snow, or even vanish into the form of a vapor.

    Ooc; A low muse is completely understandable, but what you just said isn't entirely true. It's normal to draw a blank every now and then, but it doesn't mean you have to give up and quit. If you have any concerns please feel free to share them with me and urban on the plotting thread. It would be great if you had any suggestions for Brackentail's plot ;)

    Ooc; Actually, there is such a sweetness in what you just said. What if Brackentail desperately tries to console his granddaughter about her dead parents, but struggles to be the voice of comfort that the young apprentice secretly hungers for? Let's picture the bewildered grandpa in such a confusing state, trying to be the father that Tita never had growing up as a kitten, but ends up saying and doing all the wrong things. Maybe he doesn't feel like he can be the shoulder that the little smoke can cry on whenever she needs someone to cling to, or the cat who would go out of his way to make all of her dingy grays happy again. The hard part about telling a story in a RP is connecting and empathizing with the other characters. Do you ever wonder what it was like for Titaniumpaw growing up? Unloved, abandoned, abused, and then forgotten? Do you think she begrudges him due to his absence in her early upbringing, however ugly it might've been? Will Brackentail be there for Tita in her hour of sorrow, or simply walk away?[You wanna move Bracky's plot to the chat thread while we continue roleplaying here? I would love to hear what you have to contribute to Brackentail's legacy. ;)]

    It's okay to be a little quirky sometimes, I'm the same way when it comes to getting emotional. But like I said Wafflez, getting a sense for the other characters and their emotions is the biggest part of telling the story. Put yourself in the apprentice's shoes (or paws) if you can. Imagine what it must have been like to not have a mother, or father who would love her unconditionally, and teach her about the pains and heartbreak that came with growing up. Maybe we could begin with Brackentail spitting an angry retort back at Froststar before stomping off towards his own quarters to collect his bedding. As he's doing so, he hesitates, unable to break the ice that gripped at his broken chest, and overwhelmed by the bitter guilt that was welling in his throat. Brackentail was absent during Titaniumpaw's early upbringing, and it is a shameful burden he would have to bear for the rest of his days. Ever since he had left the kit in the care of another queen, he focused solely on his warrior training, the thought of facing her again almost too painful for him to swallow. He had to talk to her now, and try to explain. The elder stumbled into the apprentice den, stuttering and bumbling for the right words to plea her forgiveness, but looked more like a fool while doing so. What will I say? It's been moons since I've even had a decent conversation with her.Suddenly, his rugged mew took a new form when he cried out in agony, "You don't have to do this alone anymore!" (Don't copy me word for word, this is just to give you some ideas for what you can say in your response. Do you have anything to add on to this, or would you like to tweak anything in here? :))

    Ooc;
    Not at all! ;)

    Alrighty, so a tragedy had just occured when a RageClan patrol was viciously slaughtered in their own territory. Froststar had previously led a hunting expedition earlier that morning, venturing deep into the forbidden evergreen forest and skirting the farthest reaches of BlizzardClan territory. It wasn't until sunhigh that they were met with the devastating scene, five bodies littered across the boggy wasteland, wallowing in their own bloody filth and agony. When she had brought this to the attention of the Clan, Titaniumpaw had mysteriously slipped away from the mass while they were all trying to make sense of the disturbing news. The meeting was then interrupted by a stranger, a mysterious loner named Ember who claimed that she knew who was responsible for the killings. To the amazement of the outsider, Froststar made several accusations against her including treachery and murder. She was later held in the scribe's den until her fate was decided at the next gathering. Once it was announced that the apprentice had gone missing, Brackentail was sent into the wilderness to rescue the young smoke from the dangers still lurking in the vast territory. Upon their return, he was sentenced to the elder's den for a moon after he had made the fatal mistake of disrespecting Froststar and the Clan deputy. Titaniumpaw also faced severe consequences for her actions, and was given the responsibility of caring for her elderly grandfather for the next moon.

    Hello minty, it's so wonderful to have you back! :D

    Absolutely, I'm so sorry I didn't get in contact with you sooner. I really really don't want you to take this personally, I can just imagine how busy your schedule must be with school and roleplaying. It was just such short notice, and we really needed an Ember during after school hours. I honestly didn't know what to do >_<

    Ooc; Amplifyer, I was truly moved by the way Brackentail went to such great lengths to reestablish the severed relationship between him and his granddaughter. The only thing I'm little curious about is Rainsong's character. Would it be okay if we let calico roleplay Titaniumpaw's mother (If she's willing to breath life into Rainsong's apparation)? It was her character to begin with, after all. Here's another pressing question for you; How would Brackentail react if Snowrose came back? xDD

    Heyy London! I'm really excited about Jinx's character, and I was wondering if you would like to start plotting some ideas for him on the chat thread. :)
