Dazzlekit would be a good name, too ^ ^ I'm all for plots, so I'm not gonna say you can't name her that xD

    YAAAAAY PLAS AND SERPENT KITS

    FOR CHRISTMAS

I was talking to Frosty, and she said that she has a ShadowClan she-cat that would be willing to be the surrogate mother. She's Moonlightring's daughter, too >D Is that okay with you, Silent? Or would you rather the mother be a loner?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]The kitten, of course, was not far behind his brother. Up on the rickety beams, Bolerokit kept his golden eyes fixed on the ginger tail tip of Thor, his brow furrowed with concentration as he did so. He wasn't about to follow his brother's lead and get his paw broken. What would father say to that?

But, suddenly, Thor was gone. Bo looked over the edge of the splintered beam, and saw his brother sprawled out on the ground below. A small smile lit his face, but only because Thor had already gotten up and was prancing towards the group. He had no need to be worried.

Jumping delicately over the gap, the silver cinnamon tabby continued along the beams, this time taking hesitant steps to make sure they weren't going to break beneath him like they did with Thor. He wasn't going t make the same mistake.[/fancypost]

okayokayokay I gots a surrogate mother!

Copper said that her she-cat Defiantgaze would be more than willing to help Serpent and Plas out -- plus, she's the daughter of the current ShadowClan MC, which is cool too |D

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Something bubbled up inside Sacred, and he turned with a smile to greet Nissel. His odd eyes instantly lost their hostile glint, and instead filled with warmth and joy. She was the only one besides his family that he would ever completely trust. In a world as cruel and dark as this one, it was good to have such a close friend.

"I guess you could say that," he grumbled, pausing to gently ouch his nose to her cheek. Shaking out his black-smoke fur, flustered, he sat down next to his friend and sniffed the herbs in front of him. "Duchess and I were just about to start sorting herbs," he explained to her. "She's Dreams's kit."[/fancypost]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px]
Sacred felt her paw slap his shoulder, and noted the feeling of his fur sticking together with the gooey berry mixture. His ears laid down flat on his head, and his eyes narrowed as a smirk split his face. Pushing both paws into the red paint, he turned and darted for Nissel, laughing as he tried to attack her with a flurry of jabs on her silver fur.

"Don't threaten if you're not gonna go through with it!" he crowned, odd eyes flashing with his impish demeanor.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Plasmaflare through the weak winter sunlight, his ticked tabby pelt long and fluffy due to the colder days. His yellow eyes were instantly drawn to the ShadowClan forest, tree-needles still green as grass, before he forced his eyes away. He had to focus on other things. He couldn't think about that right now.

Padding into camp -- he was coming from an early morning solo patrol -- his gaze locked on his new apprentice. A soft smile on his lips, he dipped his head to the brown and white tabby. "Good morning, Civilpaw. You ready?"[/fancypost]

. . . well, I know, but they would still need someone to nurse the kits and everything. Plus, it'd be cool for there to be an actual in-character mother for plot reasons and such. Or else it'd just be like getting an NPC tom to knock up your she-cat because you're too lazy to find an actual character (and I really don't like doing things like that)

*shrugs* Well, I think it'd be cool to have a surrogate mother. Just to make things interesting. It depends on what Silent thinks, too, though.

I would assume not. Plas wouldn't want his family to be split up. If the kittens were born in ShadowClan, he would most likely have them stay in ShadowClan, and decide what they want to do when they're older.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Plasmaflare padded out int the snow, the bitter frost stinging his paw pads. He knew it was going to be hard to find food out here -- winter had come early, and that was never a good sign. He hoped that Serpentstar was alright. None of the Clans benefited from leaf-bare.

"It's going to be hard to teach you to hunt in such bad weather," he told his apprentice, coming close so the younger tom didn't get too cold -- the deputy was trying to be a shield from the wind. "But there should be some mice underneath the snow, and if we're lucky, we'll find a rabbit burrow. Keep your ears pricked, and your nose to the ground, and sing out if you find anything, alright?"[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Sacred nodded. He had yet to explore the outside world, because he preferred to coup himself up in the Healer's Tower with his family. He didn't hold any love for the snow -- it was cold, bitter, and it made his paws and nose sting something fierce. He much preferred sorting herbs with Nissel than venturing outside.

"The tunnels?" he asked, pricking his ears. A sly grin formed on his face. He'd never been outside ScarClan territory . . . and his father wanted them to go on a mission to BloodClan?! His odd eyes danced with excitement. "Of course! This'll be like . . . a quest!" He turned his gaze to Duchess and Illusion. He knew he should offer them to come too, but . . . he did like the notion of him and Nissel going on a journey alone much more favorable.

"Alright, guys, lets sort these herbs," he said. He flicked his eyes over to Nissel's sister. "Hey, you wanna help too?"[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Sacred's mouth twisted as Duchess said she wanted to come, but he kept his tongue still. If Nissel didn't mind them coming, then he wasn't going to say anything -- but he selfishly wanted to spend time with Nis by himself. Maybe it was the nagging memories of them doing things like this in their past lives. Always together. Just the two of them.

The kit flicked an ear towards Nissel, pausing a moment before nodding. "Sure, sure. Duchess and I will sort through these herbs, and how about you and Illusion go clean up the main room?"[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]It had been a long way -- but at least he had finally convinced Nissel that they should go alone. Not that it took much to persuade her; he knew she would like the idea of them going on a solo mission, together. It had been hard to talk on the way here with a mouthful of herbs, but they had still managed to chat endlessly about trivial things the entire way here: herbs, dreams, Healers. Anything that crossed their minds.

Stepping out of the darkness, Sacred shook out his smokey pelt, looking curiously at the landscape around him. He glanced over to Nissel, and motioned with a nod of his head before padding further out into the winter air. His jaws firmly clasped around his mouthful of herbs, his odd eyes glanced around, looking for someone to give his herbs to.

They were here on official business from his father, Ishmael. He felt his chest swell with pride that he, a mere kit -- along with Nissel -- had been asked to journey all the way to BloodClan.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]. . . or not, as the case may be.

Bolerokit scampered through the halls of the old school, his golden eyes wide as he tried to figure out the different passages and rooms. He knew his father wouldn't want him going outside because of the rain-that-wasn't-rain, but being couped up in this place was starting to get to him. But he guessed it was okay, in a creepy sort of way. At least he had Thor and Larka to keep him company.

Sighing, the young tom jumped up on to one of the desks in one of the many rooms. He sat down, curling his tail around his paws, enjoying the height that it lent him. He was getting bored in this weird two-leg place. Settling down, he lazily licked one silvery paw and swiped it over his ear. Maybe someone would come along and brighten his day a little.[/fancypost]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px]ooc|| permission granted ^ ^[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Sacred's ears pricked up, and he turned his odd eyes to the BloodClanner. He set down his herbs so he could talk more easily, and raised his chin at the warrior. He nodded a Nissel's words, and dipped his head as she introduced him. There was no problem with being professional about this, was there? This could be a defining moment for them! Their very first mission, and to another Clan! It was exciting, it was.

The tom-kit's odd eyes turned to the new cat as he approached, but he held his tongue still -- Nissel, it seemed, was doing most of the talking. He was going to try not to be a pain in the a** like he usually was -- he needed to make his parents proud![/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Sacred followed Aima into the medicine den his ears pricking as he picked up the familiar scent of sickness and herbs. He placed his herbs on the ground, and licked his lips, trying to get the bitter-sweet taste off his tongue. He did enjoy herbs, but taking them was an entirely different matter -- even carrying them got the taste stuck in his mouth.

He pricked his ears as the BloodClanner rolled one of her shoulders -- his eyes narrowed curiously. "Would you like some nettle leaves, ma'am?" he asked, not having to force himself to be polite; he was always concerned around injured cats, unless the injury was caused by something stupid. "Its good for pulled muscles."[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Bolerokit's eyes blinked open as he caught the sound of pawsteps in the hallway. He pricked his ears, and turned his head to notice Frostkit -- but the grin that lit his face was only because of the ginger kit that shouldered his way into the room ahead of him. Noting that his brother's paw still looked pretty bad, Bo was quick to abandon his post and jump down to join Thor on the ground, giving the tom a brother headbutt on the shoulder.

His golden eyes switched to Kennedy, and he blinked at her smirk. Why did kits always have to smirk at him like that? He hated cats that smirked. They never were friendly, smirkers.

"No, just tired," he replied quietly, his brow furrowing. Her voice was too loud for him.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Bolerokit purred happily as he settled down beside his brother -- he loved Thor the best out of his siblings, too. He wanted to be like Thor: so daring, and adventurous, and so . . . well, warrior-like. Bo felt timid and small next to his brother, but he preferred being the polite son of the deputy over being a courageous tiger . . . as strange as that was. Either way, he loved his brother more than anything.

More and more kits were showing up. Lets see . . . there was Frostkit, and Kennedy. And then Annie and Faunakit. Oh, and there was Totalkit! He smiled and mewed a small 'hello' to each of them as they came into the room, settling around them. There really was quiet a crowd.

The dim light, along with the sound of rain pelting against the school outside, set up quite a creepy atmosphere. Golden eyes glowing faintly, a toothy grin spread across his face as he leaned slightly into Thor. "Hey, since there's so many of us . . . why don't we do something to get rid of this boredom? Like . . . " He tried to think of something that Thor would approve of -- he always did love his brother's approval. "Like . . . tell ghost stories!"[/fancypost]

I feel like Plas and Serp would probably want to trust someone to help the kits too, since they're new with the whole idea of two toms raising kits. I know Serp at least would want some..Motherly advice after all, since he hasn't ever really "raised" kits.

Theron-If they end up in Shadowclan/Windclan, will it be known who their parents are?

The kits would know that Plas and Serp are their parents, and that their mother was just a surrogate one. I don't know if Plas would feel comfortable telling his Clan, but he would tell Gravelstar xD He wouldn't mind if it was known he and Serp were together, either.

So do you think it'd be okay for Copper's character to mother the litter?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Bolerokit never seemed too far from his brother nowadays. Their siblings seemed nonexistent, and their parents even more so. All he had was Thor. Thor was his partner, the one cat who stayed beside him, the one cat that he felt protected by -- and vise versa. Especially now that his dear brother had a broken paw . . . Bo felt extremely protective of the ginger tabby.

Jumping up after Espresso, he lightly pressed his nose to her shoulder to show that he was there. "Shh," he murmured. "Espie, he's sleeping," he whispered, golden eyes wide. Stepping over the smaller kitten, he settled down on the other side of his sleeping brother, his golden gaze soft. Purring quietly, he began to delicately groom Thor's messy fur, cleaning him up a bit. He knew the motion was soothing, and he just wanted to make Thor feel a bit better. It was stressing time for everyone.[/fancypost]
