Featherclaw stretched from her den, still not exhausted from the day. I'll just go for a midnight walk...I won't get into any trouble, right? "Right," she mewed to herself. Recently, Featherclaw had gotten in fox-loads of trouble-mostly for disappearing out at night leaving every cat worried by the next day. She decided to go out and say she was hunting by the time she got back. She padded quietly past the entrance to the camp and bounded towards the river.
When Featherclaw arrived, she sat down by the river and stared up at the stars of Silverpelt, wondering how they shined so brightly. The moon beamed a dull light towards Featherclaw, shining her light gray pelt with streaks of light black stripes. She sighed, thinking about her lost family members-her mother Mothtail and her only littermate/sister Lilynose; all dead. Featherclaw looked down at her reflection in the river, deep in thought.

Mousekit breathed, "Wow, you must have been dying to do this for the last four sunrises!" After Swifkit instructed to follow her, she nodded and bounded towards the exit of the dirtplace, into the forest.

Mousekit flattened her ears, terrified of the sound, "I don't know Swiftkit, but I'm scared!" Mousekit scurried to a tree and tried to claw up the tree, but only scrabbled back to the forest floor. She whined in frustration and sat down, defeated.

Featherclaw heard pawsteps coming in her direction and gasped. Oh no, i think it's one of my clanmates! She skidded to the direction of the camp, but tripped over a large root with tremendous force. She yowled in pain but then shut her mouth in an instant, hoping no cat heard the sound.

Mousekit squeaked in surprise at the warrior. She jumped back, knocking herself into the tree. She whined and mewed quietly, "We're not doing anything, right Swiftki- I mean Swiftpaw." Mousekit winked at Swiftkit, to show that she was to play along.

Featherclaw winced as she added weight on her left hind paw and mewed, "Fine, thanks." She widened her eyes at the tom, unfamiliar of the cat. Who is he?

Mousekit smiled widely, "Okay! I'm so excited!" She followed after Swiftkit, leaving Lonleyheart with narrowed, glaring eyes.

Thornfeather mewed, "Thank you all for the greetings. My name is Thornfeather, just to let you all know. And I would love to go hunting with all of you!" She smiled excitedly. Finally, fist day, and I already have new friends! Thornfeather looked at Birdsong, "Thank you for the compliments-I really appreciate it." Her eyes shone happily as she asked them to lead the way to the place where they were to hunt.

Mint hid quietly behind a spruce tree, waiting for his special customers to arrive. He smirked. A great way to earn more freshkill for myself-who needs clans? He laughed and took a pawful of catnip and sniffed it, sighing deeply as he turned around to the forest, waiting once again. He mewed to himself quietly, "These cats better have a decent trade of freshkill for my catnip!" Mint laughed hysterically to himself and took another whiff of his own pawful of catnip.
