Sunstorm looked around to try to find Wildmask.

Spiritkit pounced on it, then sat up. She smaked it with her paw makeing it bouce to Lightkit. "Ha ha...this is fun!" Spiritkit mewed.

"I don't know where he could have gone so quickly..." Spiritpaw mewed.

Sunstorm looked down at Spiritpaw. "Your right. He couldnt have gone far so fast..." Sunstorm mewed.

Spiritpaw looked upa t the sky. It was clear a few mins ago...Did the rain start because Cloudpaw started crying? Did Cloudaw have powers like Starpaw? Spiritpaw wondered. It wasn't fair! Why did Starpaw and Cloudpaw have powers and Bluepaw and Spiritpaw diddn't! Maby me and Bluepaw do have powers, but dont know them yet! "Its ok Cloudpaw...its not like Wildmask is dead! We'll find him...dont worry!" Spiritpaw tryed to support Cloudpaw. Spiritpaw tryed to think of what she could do. She did always feel close to Starclan, well she would see tonight when she fell asleep. Maby Staclan will viset her tonight...

Sunstorm looked up at the sky. Why is it raining? There were no clouds this morning...did Cloudpaws crying start the rain...did she have powers like Spiritpaw and Starpaw? Sunstorm thought to himself. He looks down at Cloudpaw, Spiritpaw was trying to comfort her.

Spiritpaw padded after the others with Sunstorm right beside her. She was so ecited to be out of camp for the first time! Maby ill find out my power! If Starpaw and Cloudpaw have powers...me and Bluepaw should have them too! "Can we see the lake?" Spiritpaw asked Sunstorm. "Yes, when we get there..." He said to Spiritpaw.

Sunstorm padded on with the others, he new the new apprentices were exited about being out of camp for the first time.

ic: "Alright!" Spiritpaw bounded off with Starpaw and Seacloud. She heard Sunstorm right on her paws.

I knew this would happen! Well, I chose this apprentice before she even knew me...i guess i have to deal with this... Sunstorm thought.

Spiritkit padded after her mother. "I bet they wont have the same color fur as me...my fur is one of a kind!" Spiritkit mewed proudly.

Sunstorn caught up with Spiritpaw. "Wait!" He yelled. Spiritpaw stoped dead in her tracks. "Yes Sunstorm?" Spiritpaw asked. A sent hit her like running into a tree. It was very strong. She somehow knew this sent. It was a falcon. It was eating a dead mouse that it caught earlyer. Spiritpaw got in a hunters crouch that came naturaly to her. "Don't even try to catch it, it will fly away...and they will kill you! So just come ba-" He broke off when Spiritpaw dashed twords the bird. She felt her claws sink into its feathers and into its skin. She bit at its neak. The bird was trying to fly away, but Spiritpaw scracked and bit its wings so it couldnt fly anymore. Spiritpaw felt the bird go limp. The falcon was dead. "Told you i could do it!" Spiritpaw said thugh a mouth full of feathers.

Sunstorm couldnt' beleve what he just saw. He saw a new apprentice, with no training, kill a falcon. "How...how did you do that?" He asked Spiritpaw. Spiritpaw put down the bird. "I felt like the whole of Starclan was at my side, then I pounced." "Well, you did exelent! I'm telling this to Bearstar..." Spiritpaws eyes lighted up. She picked up the bird and ran to camp. He saw the fant sparkles by her feet again, this time they here brighter. I wonder what she can do...does she even know she has powers? Thought Sunstorm. He reached camp. Spiritpaw was there alredy. She droped the falcon in the middle of the clearing where everyone can see. Several cats came up to see. Including Bearstar.

"L-Lightkit?" Spiritkit ran over to where Lightkit was. Silentkit came also.

"It wasnt hard, I attacked it by surprize and killed it fast." She said to the croud of cats around her. She thanked everyone for the complaments and padded over to the fresh-kill pile. She put the falcon in, hopeing no one would eat it until she got back. She padded up to Sunstorm, who was also geting asked questions from the crowd. "Come on Sunstorm! I want to see the lake!" Spiritpaw yelled over the others. Sunstorm made his way though. Alright, lets go." They padded into the forest. Finaly she saw the lake ahead. Spiritpaw took off running. She felt like she had the power of Starclan at her paws. She realized, she was flying. She looked down to see herself running on a path of stars, she turned hand ran back down just stoping befor landing on the ground. She was standing on a path of stars like Starclan! "Sunstorm, I descovered my power! I can walk on a path of stars just like Starclan!" "Thats amazing Spiritpaw! You can go find Starpaw, i bet she would like someone to fly around with!"Sunstorm mewed.

"Ill go look for Starpaw for you, you just stay and playaround with your power, ok?" "Ok, hurry!" Spiritpaw mewed. Sunstorm padded though the forest looking for Starpaw and Seacloud. He heard Seaclouds voice. He walked twords it. "Hay Seacloud." Sunstorm greeted. "Oh hi Sunstorm, wheres Spiritpaw?" Seacloud asked. "Thats what I want you and Starpaw to see, I think Starpaw will like it..." He said looking down at Starpaw. "Come on!" Sunstorm mewed, padding back the way he came. He heard the paw steps of Starpaw and Seacloud behind him.

Spiritkit saw Ravenstar, she turnned and hissed at him.

"I guess your to scared to take me then..." Spiritkit moked. She hissed again, this time it was as loud as a warriors.

Spiritkit steped up and pufed out her chest. "Im more of a warrior then all of you combined! If you Silentkit and Lightkit...your going to have to take me too..." Spiritkit said bravely.

Spiritpaw ran on her path of stars. She climbed higher and higher intill she reached Starpaw. "See! I can do it!" Spiritpaw said confidantly. She climbed a little higher. She saw Silverpelt starting to apper in the sky. She she walked down untill she reached the ground. Starpaw landed next to her. "I now what my power is now! I'm going to practice it tomarrow!" Spiritpaw said exitingly. "I need to talk to you when we get back to camp...ok?" "Ok" Starpaw replyed.

Sunstorm gazed at Spiritpaw, he was happy now he knew what to expect from her now. He knew she would have a better friendship with Starpaw now, since they could both fly. Sunstorm padded back to camp with Spiritpaw, Starpaw, and Seacloud.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Starpaw asked. "Lets go to the Moonpool!" She wispered exitedly. "What? Why?" Starpaw sounded confused. "If we have powers from Starclan, we might as well talk to them about it...maby they will tell us if we have other powers! Are you in?" Spiritpaw asked Starpaw.

Sunstorm padded into camp. Spiritpaw and Starpaw padded off in there own direction. Sunstorm diddn't notice where they went. He droped his mouse that he cought on the way back into the fresh-kill pile. He picked up a plump vole and padded to half-rock. He layed down and ate the tasty vole. After he was done he realized how exosted he was. He closed his eyes, thinking about what happened today. Spiritpaw can walk on stars like Starclan, does she have a unique conection with them too? Sunstorm wondered. He pushed it to the back of his mind and drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Spiritkit fur was on end with fury. She ran at Ravenstar and leaped at him. She claws his face and eyes.

"All right...lets go tell them." Spiritpaw and Starpaw slowly padded out from behine the nursery. She saw Bluepaw and Cloudpaw sharing a peice on fresh-kill. Spiritpaw and Starpaw padded up to them side be side. "Hay, we are going to the Moonpool tonight at sundown, you wana come?" Spiritpaw wispered. "We need to know what are powers are and what we got them for, so we might as well go." Starpaw added.

Sunstorm is still sleeping.

Spiritkit padded up to Gleampond, a trail of blood pawprints appering behind her. "Hi!" She mewed rubbing up agest Gleampond.

"No please don't go! Stay!" Spiritkit yowled.

A yowl came from one of the cats in the clearing. The cat was looking down at the silver scrap of fur in the middle of the clearing.
