Mudfur and Spiritpaw brushed past the thorn tunnel. They went over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped there kills in. Spiritpaw was about to drop the mouse she caught then Mudfur stopped her. "That's your first kill, don't you want to eat it?" Mudfur asked with a little hummer in his voice. "Ya! Thanks Mudfur!" Spiritpaw mewed through fur. She bounded away to the apprentices den. The sun was starting to go down. Maby there's a sleeping apprentice in there... She thought. She slowed down and padded through the entrance to the den. She looked around. There is a sleeping apprentice in here! she looked at him. He was a dark gray tom with light gray ear tips and chest. she saw a little dark tabbyness in him too. She walked in a little further. She picked out a nest close to the darker apprentice. She layed down and ate her mouse. She curled up in her nest and fell asleep quickly.

Spiritpaw padded into her nest and curled herself into it. Wheres Wolfpaw? She thought. I'll look for him in the morning... Spiritpaw fells asleep.

ic: Sninningstar was stalking a vole when she head a yowl. She sat up ignoring the vole. She padded to where she heard the voice. She saw a young kit wailing for its mother. She padded up behind the young kit. "Are you lost little one?"

ic: Wolfpaw padded through the forest. He wanted to be alone because he had a argument with his mother, Appleleaf. He stoped at the shore of the lake. He gazed at the shimmering water. He thought of his dead sister, Dawnkit. He missed her silvery pelt and her amber eyes. He looked up at the stars, thinking Dawnkit was looking down at him right now. Thos stars look like Spiritpaws path when she flys. He realized. He started thinking about Spiritpaws long silver pelt, and her stunning green eyes. Spiritpaw is so pretty when she is in the moonlight at gatherings, and when she flys on her path of stars they shimmer on her fur... Wolfpaw sighed and padded back to camp. I need to get some sleep, I did hard training today with Hawkclaw. He padded into the apprentices den and curled up close to Spiritpaw.

Spiritpaw woke up. She felt warmth beside her, she looked over and saw Wolfpaw sleeping beside her. Dose he feel the same for me and I do for him? she wondered. Spiritpaw got up and went to the dirt-place. She made her dirt and went back into the apprentices den. She laid down and closed her eyes. She felt Wolfpaw snuggle a little closer to her. Spiritpaw drifted back into sleep.

Spiritpaw woke, she felt a warm pelt next to hers. She looked over to see Wolfpaw sleeping with his back brushing up against hers. She let out a soft purr. She looked over and saw Bluepaw awake."Good morning Bluepaw, want to see if we can go on a hunting patrol together?" Spiritpaw asked.

"Alright!" Spiritpaw got up and walked out of the den with Bluepaw beside her. She spotted her mentor Mudfur padding to her. "Hay Spiritpaw, I'm about to go on a hunting patrol, you wanna come?" the young tom asked. "Sure! As long as Bluepaw can come with us." Spiritpaw mewed. "Alright, she can come." Mudfur turned to Bluepaw. "Go find your mentor and tell him/her where your going." the mud spotted warrior mewed.

Wolfpaw blinked the sleep from his eyes. He sat up, he looked down at Spiritpaw seeing how close he was to her, and how much there pelts brushed. He got up and padded out of the apprentices den. He saw Hawkclaw, his mentor, pad out from the dirt-place. Wolfpaw padded up to him. "Good morning Wolfpaw, ready for battle training today?" Hawkclaw mewed looking down at him. Wolfpaw sighed. "We did tons of battle training yesterday!" He mewed. "Ok, we'll battle train for a little bit then we'll hunt. How dose that sound?" Wolfpaw looked down at his paws. "Fine..." He mumbled. "Alright, lets go!" Hawkclaw trotted to the thorn tunnel. Wolfpaw padded after him with his head down.
