Mousekit charged. "Let me play!" he exclaimed. He leaped onto Orangepaw, claws unsheathed, and sank his claws into Orangepaw's ears. "Ha!" he yowled menacingly.

Frozenkit moped around. Her tail was drooped. She saw a figure shimmer in front of her. Frozenkit blinked and looked up. "Who are you?" she asked, not recognizing the kitten. It was blue-gray with a white tail-tip. "Hello, Frozenkit. My name is Splashkit. I was your sister, but died at birth. If I had lived," Splashkit lashed her tail. "I would have become leader of SwiftClan one day. But that can't happen now. Beware the blood of prey, sister, for it will wash over the Clans, bordering and unbordering." she murmured and vanished. Frozenkit blinked. "Why be serious as a kit?" she tilted her head, but noticed a shimmering body return.

Splashkit was gasping for breath. "Sorry! I forgot to tell you somethin' else. Uh..... oh, yeah. You must rise to power to defeat M- I mean, the blood of prey!" she panted and vanished again.

Fawnpelt let a gasp. "My kits are coming!" she yowled.

Blood stretched her fuzzy paws. Her sister, Moon, and her brother, Otter, we're already squirming around, begging their mother to play. "Please, mama! We'll stay just outside the cave!" they wailed. For the first time, Blood had opened her eyes. She stared at her brother's pelt. It was a brown tabby pelt. Moon was a silver she-cat with wide amber eyes and a snub nose. Blood stared down at her own pelt. It was red tabby. Blood stared at her mother. Beautiful red tabby with amber eyes.

"Oh, look, Robin. She opened her eyes." her mother meowed. Robin, apparently a black she-cat with a white muzzle, rolled her eyes. "She looks like you." she muttered and nudged her own kits off of her. "Wolf! Hawk! Off, please, this isn't a big enough chamber to be climbing on me!" she snapped. "You guys should prepare to become Fighters, or at least get mentors." she meowed. Hawk bounced up. "Yep! I'm not going to be a Fighter, though. I'm going to be a hunter." she yowled excitedly, her voice echoing the chamber. Blood covered her ears with her paws.

The cave had many chambers in it. Learners, ones who learned to hunt or fight, stayed in one chamber next-door to the nursery chamber. The elders den was a small den across from the nursery. The Hunter's den was at the very back of the cave, and the Fighter's den was at the front of the whole cave, to protect the pack of rogues. The head's den was next door to the Hunter's den.

Blood blinked the fuzziness from her amber eyes and noticed her mother nod. "Fine, you guys just play right outside of the chamber. I'll have your tails if you even sniff outside." she warned, and relaxed to chat with Robin. She raced outside, following her siblings. Otter padded out into the open and smiled. Blood took in her surroundings. A massive silver tom peered down at them. "You must be the new kittens who arrived last night." he purred. Blood blinked. "Last night?" she asked.
"From where?" Moon gasped, looking around wildly to see where she had come from. Otter said nothing. The huge tom sat down. "I'm your father." he mewed. "My name is Rat." he meowed, eyeing Moon. "You resemble me." he murmured softly. Moon shrugged. "What's your rank?" she asked coolly. Rat let a small chuckle of amusement. "Your mother didn't tell you, I'm guessing. I'm the leader." he meowed.

Otter and Blood let out a gasp, and Moon let out a high-pitched squeal. A black she-cat, followed by a small tortoiseshell, padded forward. "Greetings, Rat. We need to report to you." meowed the black cat, coldly staring at the kittens. Blood felt her fur prickle with unease. Rat dipped his head. "Ok, Night. How is mentoring Apple faring?" he meowed. Apple was the small tortoiseshell Learner. Night looked down at her pupil. "Great." she mewed unenthusiastically. Rat's eyes narrowed and he nodded, leading the two she-cats into his den to receive the report.

Blood turned to Otter. "Some she-cat she is." she whispered. Otter nodded. "Let's try to meet everyone!" he raced away, Moon on his tail. Blood scampered after him, and they swerved into the elder's den. A raggedy she-cat stared at them kindly. "Why hello, kits. The new arrivals, I believe." she rasped. A hunched up tom behind her flicked his tail. "Get them out. New arrivals are always so curious, like ticks in my fur." he rambled. The she-cat elder rolled her eyes. "Never mind Dust. My name is Cinder. We're siblings, as you can tell." she purred. Blood narrowed her eyes, trying to see the similarities. They both had gray pelts and deep green eyes.

Blood nodded, and turned to an elder lying in the corner. "Whose that?" she meowed. A blue-gray tom was lying in the corner. Cinder blinked sadly. "That's Ocean. He's not too well right now, so excuse him along with Dust. Why don't you go meet the Hunters?" she meowed.

Blood streaked to the Hunter's den, and skidded to a halt as a huge golden tom padded out with a tabby tom padding beside him. "Ah, look, Lion. Fox's kits." the tabby nudged Lion. Lion looked down at them. "Oh! My sister's kits, how great!" he exclaimed, sniffing Blood. Blood jerked back. "Who're you?" she asked. The golden tom blinked. "I'm your mother's brother, Lion." he introduced himself. "And I believe your Blood, your Moon, and your... uh..." Lion paused.

Otter narrowed his amber eyes. "Otter." he growled. Lion nodded. "Of course, the snappy one." he smiled. "Well, me and Grizzly have to go hunting." he meowed. Grizzly, the tabby tom, blinked and nodded. "Oh, yeah. Hey, where's Moss? My pupil should be here somewhere." he sighed and bounded into the Learner's den. A moment later, he returned with a tom at his heels. The tom, probably Moss, looked at the kits and nodded, but said nothing. He was a gray tom with green eyes.

Grizzly, Lion, and Moss padded out of the Cave. A cream-colored she-cat emerged from the Fighter's den. "Catch me a fish!" she called. Grizzly turned back, purring. "Of course, Nut." he called and left the cave.

Blood turned to see Night yowling angrily at Rat. "... Fell in love with that mange-pelt instead!" Night spat. Rat glared at her. "It was my choice. Lea-" he was paused. "Shut up!" Night snapped and bounded away.

    --Seven Moons Later--

Blood had decided that she was going to be a Fighter when she grew up, so, she had to take a test to see if she qualified.

Blood snarled in rage as she had to challenge Night. The stupid she-cat was glaring at her. Blood charged at her and Night leaped out of the way, raking a soft paw down her back. Blood hissed in frustration and leaped onto her opponents back. Night easily shook her off. Night was the new leader to the rogue pack, as Rat had died being killed by a badger roaming the forest. So many things had happened. Nut had Grizzly's kits, Rowan and Sap, and Robin moved to the elders when Hawk became a Hunter. But Wolf was kicked out of the pack.

    W.I.P

OOC: Oh, okay, I looked back at the posts and saw an offer. Nightclaw can mentor Irispaw :) Thx!

    IC:
Irispaw padded up to her mentor. "Hi, Nightclaw. Can you teach me something now?" she begged.

    Amberpaw flicked her tail.

    Wolfstreak licked his chest quickly.

Owlshadow padded around, sniffing for prey. Applepaw was a fox-length away, sniffing inside a burrow.

Uh... Nothing much. Lavenderleaf was shredded by seven foxes but remains alive. o.o

    ic:
Lavenderleaf opened her one eye. "Am I going to be alright? I'm dying, aren't I?" she whimpered. Windblown glared down at Lavenderleaf. "Shut up. Your going to live, whether you like it or not!" she hissed and marched into her herb store to find some horsetail, as the bleeding in her torn thigh started up again.

Lavenderleaf relaxed and fell asleep. But when she awoke, she was in a dim forest, smelling of decay. Below her the grass was whithered, but fresh pawprints were scattered here and there. Lavenderleaf bent down to smell them. Am I in StarClan? Perphaps if I recognize the scent of these pawprints, I'll meet up with one of my warrior ancestors.... she thought. But she lurched back when a gnawing pain scent through her Thigh like a pulse.

What in StarClan's name-? she blinked her remaining eye and turned to her thigh. It was torn, still. If I'm in StarClan, shouldn't I be healed? she narrowed her eyes. "Hello?" she called impatiently. A shadowy warrior emerged from behind the reeds. "Greetings, Lavenderleaf. We are the Dark Forest, and we see your troubles and anxieties. We'd like to help." murmured a voice. Lavenderleaf paced back. "A-am I dead?" she stuttered, taking in her surroundings. There was no sun. Or moon or stars. Just a hazy sky. The tom shook his head. "No, no. Your fine. Your sleeping like a kitten in your nest, still. But your dreaming. My name is Hissflint." he meowed. Lavenderleaf's eyes widened. "But you-" A tail slammed her mouth shut as a pale orange apprentice padded around the corner. "Lavenderleaf!" the tail retreated. It was Lionpaw of SpiritClan. He blinked. "Lavenderleaf I thought you were.. dead." he whispered.

Hissflint narrowed his eyes. "Come. We will give you both all the training you need." he growled and padded away. Lionpaw turned to Lavenderleaf in horror. "Have you... been here before?" he meowed. Lavenderleaf shook her head.

Petalkit blinked and sniffed the herb. "Hmm. I guess." she murmured and slowly padded to find marigold. "Isn't marigold yellow?" she meowed, and tried to find a yellow herb. "Found it!" she exclaimed and sniffed it. "Huh. It kind of stands out." she meowed. She turned to Ambergaze. "Ambergaze, what is that herb you use for the elders' eyesight called?" she asked.

Irispaw let a squeal of excitement. "Ye-e-e-e-e-es!" she bounced up and down off the ground. "I wanna learn how to hunt, first!" she yowled and dropped into a pitiful hunters crouch. Her belly was brushing the fallen leaves on the ground and her ears were perked. Worst of all, her blue-tabby pelt was brushed up. Any prey would be able to see her out of the corner of its eye.

Owlshadow twicthed his whiskers at Dovepaw. "When was the last time you saw her hunt?" he meowed. "She's a fresh apprentice and needs to learn something." he meowed. Wolfstreak nodded and turned to his apprentice, Applepaw. "Applepaw, no sniffing burrows." he called, impatience edging his voice. Applepaw blinked and stepped away from the burrow. She sank her claws inside of it and pulled out two mice. "Why not?" she snapped.

Amberpaw padded up to the patrol. "Fine, I'll come." she growled. Owlshadow, her mentor, nodded. "She's a pain in the tail." he whispered to Wolfstreak, making sure Amberpaw didn't hear.

    Nothing much, besides the fact the SpiritClan patrol has witnessed Lavenderleaf being torn apart by about seven foxes. :) Nothing serious. {jk,}

    ic:
Lionpaw stared at Blossompaw. "Blossompaw, what's wrong?" he asked, disappointed he had upsetted her. "Did I say something?" he asked, his tail drooping.

Flightpaw charged into Sandpaw, who tumbled into a bramble thicket. "What the... Sandpaw!" he yowled and raced into the brambles. Sandpaw was shaking her pelt. Out of surprise, she bowled Flightpaw over and escaped the Brambles.

Hush. Can't you hear them? How come? Ah, your not a WhisperClan cat. But you can be, if you decide to roam the forest with us. Through the breeze, you can hear voices, calling your name, drawing you near. If you are a special cat. Me? Let me see what I'm hearing, but I'll tell you I'm not special at all. Hmm, it sounds like... He who comes, let him in. So it must be you. the Ancient ancestors are speaking to me. About you. My name? Oh, of course! How foolish. I'm Runningstar. Come, let me show you around!

ic: Owlshadow perked his ears as he spotted a squirrel chewing on a small nut. He dropped into a hunter's crouch, but something bolted from the trees and slashed at the squirrel's throat quickly and bounded away. Owlshadow hissed. "Hey!" he yowled and bounded after it. Wolfstreak and Amberpaw were at his heels. Wolfstreak leaped and tackled the running shape. Amberpaw sank her teeth into their victim's tail. The shape, a she-cat, toppled over and landed on her face. The she-cat looked up, teeth bared. "Give us a name." Amberpaw ordered. The she-cat hissed and opened her mouth but was cut off when Applepaw bounded over. "Owlshadow you left your...." she stopped.

The she-cat gave the cats a hard stare. "My name is Shadow." she growled. Her night-black pelt was shimmering as the light from the sun slanted through the trees. Shadow got up. "You... you have invaded my home." she snapped. Owlshadow blinked, unsure of what to do.

Sagefeather padded up to the two quarreling cats. "Let's go on a border patrol. Remember, the ditch is ours, and Amberstar knows it." Amberstar was SpiritClan's leader. SpiritClan and BriarClan have been arguing over the ditch for moons for its amazing prey source and herbs.

Lavenderleaf blinked at Hissflint. "Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm... what will we learn?" she meowed. Hissflint turned on them. "You both are my students. We are going to learn how to fight. Be the best in your Clan." he smirked and beckoned them into the trees.

Below them was a gorge, where cats Lavenderleaf recognized from all Clans she saw at the Gatherings.

    {writing a story on this...}

Lavenderleaf is in a ddream that she is in the Dark Forest with Lionpaw from SpiritClan. Hissflint is telling them that they'll train them to be the best warriors ever.

ic: Sagefeather twitched her tail impatiently.

Lavenderleaf sniffed the air. WhisperClan cats, SnowClan cats, StoneClan cats, and VioletClan cats. Lionpaw gasped. "Look, its Owltail, Nightpaw, and Wildclaws from FoxClan!" he hissed in Lavenderleaf's ear. Hissflint led them down to the gorge. Lavenderleaf tried to ignore the pain flaring through her body and relaxed as they made it to the bottom of the gorge. "Lavenderleaf. I haven't seen you in a while." meowed a familiar voice. Lavenderleaf whipped around to see a pretty golden-dappled she-cat. Lavenderleaf blinked her one eye. "Oh, hey, Dovesong." Lavenderleaf purred to the she-cat from SnowClan who taught Lavenderleaf an amazing move at the Gathering. "Its a great place, here! I'm best friends with Blackspeck over there. He knows some awesome moves! Come check'm out!" Dovesong padded up to Blackspeck. Lavendefleaf weaved her way around some cats and padded up to Blackspeck, who was murmuring something to Dovesong. "...too bad we can't mate here." he nuzzled Dovesong and knocked her gently to the ground, pressing his muzzle against hers. Dovesong purred, lapping Blackspeck vigorously.

    Chapter 1

Lavenderleaf woke up in her dream and noticed she was in the Dark Forest, Lionpaw by her side, from SpiritClan. Lavenderleaf sniffed the air. SnowClan cats, StoneClan cats, and VioletClan cats. Lionpaw gasped. "Look, its Owltail, Nightpaw, and Wildclaws from FoxClan!" he hissed in Lavenderleaf's ear. Hissflint, the Dark Forest warrior, led them down to the gorge. Blackspeck retreated from her and dipped his head to Lavenderleaf, staring at her torn flanks. "You'll need some work out." he meowed. "Lucky for you, many cats are willing to help." he purred and padded away, Dovesong next to him, tails entwined. A scraggly tom padded out into the open, eyeing Lavenderleaf. "Hmmph. Your a queen? Your no queen! You're way too young." he spat. A she-cat padded out behind him. "Shut up, Ratpelt. She's here to be helped." the she-cat mewed kindly. Turning to Lavenderleaf, she purred. "You are young, but better that than old. You seem a little torn up, there. Perhaps this training will help you." the she-cat smelled of VioletClan. "My name is Ashflower." she meowed. Lavenderleaf held back a gasp. This kind she-cat was in the Dark Forest? Lavenderleaf nodded. Ratpelt rolled his eyes. "Whatever." he snapped. "Who's her mentor?" Ratpelt growled. Lavenderleaf twitched her tail. Ashflower blinked. "Hissflint, of course." she meowed. HIssflint emerged from some thornbushes, followed by a black tom with a white tail. "Yes. And Lionpaw goes to Snowtail." Hissflint growled. Snowtail was the black tom with a white tail. He dipped his head to Lionpaw. "Let's get to training. Ashflower, Ratpelt, bring your apprentices." he growled and stalked away, Lionpaw following. Lavenderleaf noticed Logpaw and Wildclaws, from Gatherings, pacing behind Ashflower and Ratpelt. Ashflower and Ratpelt followed Hissflint quickly. Snowtail took the lead and led his new apprentice to a foul smelling, dark clearing. Hissflint perched on a fallen tree a few foxlengths away. Ashflower and her apprentice, Wildclaws, were at the base of it, while Logpaw and his mentor, Ratpelt, sat at a corner of the clearing. Lavenderleaf sat down in the center of the crowd. Snowtail and Lionpaw were sitting behind her. Hissflint stood up. "Who knows the killing body parts?" he meowed, voice echoing across the clearing. Logpaw stood up, tail lilfted. Wildlcaws waved his tail. Lionpaw twitched his tail uncertainly. HIssflint turned to Lionpaw. "Lionpaw. What are they?" he asked. Lionpaw blinked. "Throat... belly." he meowed. Hissflint blinked. "And? Wildclaws, tell us the rest." Hissflint growled. Wildclaws cast a sneer to Lionpaw. "Chest and back of the neck, idiot." Wildclaws sat down. Lionpaw snarled at him but said nothing. Lavenderleaf turned to see Hissflint on the ground. "We're going to play Patrol. Me, Ashflower, Snowtail, and Ratpelt will attack Lavenderleaf, Wildclaws, Logpaw, and Lionpaw." he meowed. Battle lines were formed suddenly. Hissflint let a shriek and lunged onto Lavenderleaf. She staggered as a sharp pain hit her eye, and another her thigh. Lavenderleaf weakly leaped out of the way as Hissflint lunged at he again, and she pinned him down. Noticing all claws were unsheathed, she unsheathed hers, too, and, sliced her claws across Hissflint's back. She then bit into his scruff and tried shaking him, but he was far to heavy. Instead she used all her strength to drag him. When she couldn't drag, she used her paws to scrabble his cheek. Hissflint writhed, trying to escape Lavenderleaf's strong grip. He finally shook her off and she was sent flying across the clearing. Lavenderleaf landed on her four paws. While Hissflint came flying towards her, she got on her hind legs and batted his belly. He didn't sprawl away like she wanted him to, but he at least collapsed onto the needle strewn floor. Wildclaws sank his teeth into Ashflowers nose in the distance and she screeched, slicing his flanks. Lavenderleaf sank her teeth into Hissflint's nose, trying to copy Wildclaws. HIssflint yowled in pain and stood up. Lavenderleaf batted his chest and lunged, just about to sink her teeth into his throat when a shape appeared and bowled her over. She noticed Ratpelt looming over her. "Tried to kill him?" he spat and raked his claws across Lavenderleaf's lost eye. Lavenderleaf hissed in pain and kicked Ratpelt away. While Ratpelt was flying in midair, Wildclaws caught his shoulders with his claws and slammed Ratpelt to the ground. Ratpelt flinched and lashed out one paw, tripping Wildclaws. Wildclaws yowled and fell, hitting his chin hard on Ratpelt's bloody forehead. Ratpelt growled in pain and slashed at Wildclaw's muzzle. Lavenderleaf bounded over and raked her claws across Ratpelt's ears over and over. A gray shape appeared in the distance. "Sorry to interrupt, but it's time for me and Logpaw to go home. We have to go on a dawn patrol any time now." a gray she-cat meowed. Logpaw growled in frustration as he gave Snowtail one last lash across the muzzle before sulking after his real life mentor. "Bluegaze, come back tomorrow earlier!" Snowtail snapped. Bluegaze rolled her eyes as she padded away, her pelt vanishing more and more before it disappeared completely. Hissflint stood up. "It's not just them..." he rasped, pain edging his voice. "Everyone can go home now." he meowed and began licking his wounds. Lavenderleaf nodded, following Wildclaws and Logpaw to some sort of tunnel. She saw that the tunnel was endless, and let a gasp. But she watched as Wildclaws's and Logpaw's fur slowly became see-through, and suddenly, they vanished. Lavenderleaf padded in slowly and stared at her paws. She was beginning to see the dead grass at her paws. And suddenly, she saw nothing.

Lavenderleaf woke up and stared down her pelt, gasping. Brand-new scratched covered her matted pelt. "Great StarClan.." she murmured. Windblown looked down at her. "I noticed them this morning. But then again, look at all the thorns in your nest." Windblown purred, flicking her tail to a pile the size of a mouse full of thorns. Lavenderleaf thanked StarClan for the excuse and layed down to sleep again, but her dream was peaceful this time, filled with mice-chasing and being woundless.

ooc: Nuthin to be confuzzled about, Windy. Lavenderleaf is just recovering and visiting the Dark Forest. And you need to pick a deputy.

And Kitty123Pearl, Lavenderleaf was torn apart by angry foxes.

Sagefeather sighed. "Okay, good." Sagefeather turned to Sunheart. "Hey Sunheart! Want to come on a border patrol with me, Dirtpelt and Spiderpaw?" she called. Sagefeather noticed Scarletpaw looking bored. "Scarletpaw! Come on patrol with us! We're going to check SpiritClan border to make sure those mange-pelts know where their border is!" she yowled.

Lavenderleaf twitched and realized she was awake. She sat up, her body feeling strong, and less painful. She turned to Windblown. "Windblown, I'm going to go out." she mewed. Windblown's ear twitched. "Alright, but..." Windblown couldn't finish; Lavenderleaf had exploded from the medicine den. "Hmm..." she pondered and turned around. "Rabbitpelt! Bubblespark! Let's go hunting!" she yowled as loudly as she could.

    Chapter 2

    Okay, mentor mix up!

Shadeheart's mentor: Sundapple (Golden she-cat who killed her Clan leader when he exiled her for killing a kitten. Formally of SnowClan.)

    Lionpaw's Mentor: Snowtail.

Lavenderleaf sat up and groomed her pelt. Sunlight beamed into the medicine den and onto Windblown, who'se gray tabby flanks raised every time she breathed. She must be so tired... After caring for my wounds for two nights straight. she thought pitifully. She stood up and realized how much her muscles felt stronger from her dream. She gave her chest a final lick and set off to find the Clan deputy, Stoneheart. He was sitting at the edge of the Camp, eating a starling. The deputy's gray pelt was matted. "Gone out for a swim, Stoneheart?" she called. Stoneheart sat up. "Lavenderleaf! You're alright!" The senior tom purred. Lavenderleaf shrugged, her pelt hot. "I guess. Can I go on a border patrol?" she asked. Stoneheart's eyes widened. "Most certainly not, Lavenderleaf! Those wounds could open any minute! Go rest!" he ordered. Lavenderleaf sighed and nodded, padding back to the medicine den. Windblown padded out of the den, crashing into Lavenderleaf. "Great StarClan, Lavenderleaf! I've started panicking for you! In, now! I'll get you a juicy piece of prey, but do not leave!" Windblown's voice was shrill. Lavenderleaf took a pace back. Windblown stomped out of the den and shoved Lavenderleaf in with her nose. Lavenderleaf stumbled inside and sat down on her nest. You think at this time of day cats would be in the Dark Forest? she wondered. So she lay down in her nest and forced her eyes to stay closed, even though she was full of energy. She was dozing when Runningstar padded in. "Lavenderleaf. Thank you for foster-mothering my kits, but I've found a new cat to do it." The Clan leader mewed. Lavenderleaf blinked, shocked. "B-but..." she stammered, shaking her head. Runningstar lay her tail across Lavenderleaf's muzzle. "I'm sorry to hear." Lavenderleaf growled, turning from the Clan leader. She heard a sigh from Runningstar and heard her pad away. Lavenderleaf dozed off again.

Lavenderleaf sat up, shaking her pelt. She looked around in the dim forest. A shape exlploded from the bushes. Hissflint! His black body swerved past a thornbush and he padded up to her. "Nice job with the fight last night." he growled. Lavenderleaf twiched her tail. "Well..... I guess all my energy unleashed." she meowed. "Is any other cat here?" she mewed, trying to change the topic. Hissflint shrugged. "Yeah, only some cats taking sunhigh naps." he flicked his tail to the bizarre tunnel in which Lavenderleaf had left the Dark Forest from the last night. A ginger she-cat appeared, her paws light on the murky floor. Her mentor, Sundapple, padded through the bushes. "Shadeheart, welcome back." she hissed. "You weren't here last night." she spat. Shadeheart blinked. "I was keeping my warrior's vigil!" Shadeheart countered. Sundapple slammed her paw on the ground. "Then show me what you've learned." she growled, menace in her voice. Shadeheart let a yowl and slammed into Sundapple. Sundapple shrieked as she was thrown into a tree. While she was stunned, Shadeheart sank her teeth into Sundapple's throat. Sundapple flung Shadeheart off, gasping. "I'm already dead, you can't kill me." Sundapple sneered. Shadeheart shook her pelt. "But I managed to defeat you, so there." Shadeheart sheathed her claws. Sundapple hissed and stalked away. Hissflint turned to Shadeheart. "Nice work. Lavenderleaf and Shadeheart, why don't you attack each other?" Hissflint meowed. Shadeheart lunged onto Lavenderleaf. Lavenderleaf let a battle cry and reared up, sending a treacherous blow on Shadeheart's belly. The ginger she-cat yowled in pain as she was thrown away. Lavenderleaf bounded over to Shadeheart and yanked a mouthful of fur off the ginger she-cat's scruff. Shadeheart twisted and feebly kicked Lavenderleaf. Lavenderleaf tripped and stumbled, and Shadeheart regained her balance, and toppled Lavenderleaf over. Hissflint seperated them quickly and nodded his approval. "Good. Now, wake up, Lavenderleaf. Something's going on." he snapped.

Lavenderleaf opened her eyes to see a massive patrol of cats fighting in BriarClan camp. SpiritClan! Lavenderleaf charged out and yowled. She plunged blindly onto a tom and looked at him. His mouth was gaping and his eyes were wild.

    Lionpaw!

@Windkitten: Someone's gonna need to play Blackstar's three. And lAvenderleaf is wounded, remember, she can't go on a border patrol risking a fight.

@Sharpie: Someone;s gonna need to play Hazeltail's kittens. And there's not much of a recap.

Windblown sat up from sorting the herbs she had removed from Lavenderleaf's savagery and turned to Foxflame. She nodded and quickly grasped a few herbs, including raspberry leaves, and streaked over to Hazeltail's side. "Okay, just calm down, you're doing fine!" Windblown murmured, forcing herself to stay calm.

Sagefeather purred and nodded to Dirtpelt. She flicked her tail and led Sunheart, Dirtpelt, Scarletpaw and Spiderpaw {right?} outside the Camp. Finally, they reached the Ditch. "Hm." Sagefeather turned to her patrol warily. "Okay, surprise surprise. SpiritClan's entered the Ditch recently." she snarled and turned to the Ditch. A black cat appeared with a dark cream she-cat at his tail, and a tom apprentice. Sagefeather blinked, recognizing them from Gatherings. The black tom was Breezeshadow, the apprentice was Flightpaw, and the She-cat was Sorrelbird. Sagefeather dipped her head coldly. "Greetings. We have found your scent marks fresh inside the Ditch." she growled, unsheathing her claws. Flightpaw bristled and bounced forward, his paws only a mouse-length away from the border. "Yeah right, fish-breath! At least we helped your Clanmate get into your Camp!" he yowled. Breezeshadow flicked his tail. "Flightpaw, stop. As for you, Sagefeather, he's most definitely right. We should be given a thanks." Breezeshadow growled. A flash of slyness appeared on his face for less than a heartbeat.

Lavenderleaf yawned, realizing how long she had stayed in the medicine den, but stopped in mid-yawn when she noticed a vole skittering around the roots of an old oak tree. Lavenderleaf dropped into her hunter's crouch and crept forward. Finally, when she thought the time was right, she unsheathed her claws and leaped, sinking her claws into the vole's neck and killing it. She quickly buried her prey and set off to find more.

Petalkit nodded, her gaze still fixed on the celadine. "Celadine..." she murmured slowly. She blinenkd and looked up at Ambergaze. "Sorry, Ambergaze, I have this feeling I'm buggin' you. You can take a nap or whatever else you had planned." she meowed and retreated for the medicine den's entrance. "Thanks again, Ambergaze!" she called behind her shoulder and padded out to tell Wishkit about her adventure in the medicine den.
