Shiori saw the bikaku out of the corner of his eye too late and had only enough time to block with his arms. As The Quinque made contact he took the time to duck under it, though at a cost. He was pretty sure his left wrist was fractured now. He spun on his heel and aimed his bikaku at Seto's hand, trying to distract Seto from noticing his hurt wrist. "You sound so confident. How do you know you'll even win?" He growled, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Shiori dashed to his right before Seto's bikaku could hit, taking his chance to slice at Seto. His bikaku's tips hardened into two spear-like points which he aimed at Seto's legs. "I guess we will." He snapped back, his breathe becoming shorter. Hopefully that would slow him down a bit. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Setsuna hit the wall and get up. They would have to end this fight pretty quickly or they would both become quinues pretty soon.
-
While Seto was distracted, Shiori had begun to take careful steps backwards. Getting involved with two doves and a one eyed ghoul was not his idea of a good time. He could feel his wrist healing, though maddeningly slow. He paused as Seto jerked his head towards them, still aware of their presence. At least he's weaker now. Shiori noted coldly.
-
Shiori caught on to Setsuna's gesture and made to follow the direction she pointed. He was pretty sure he wasn't going to be seeing those two pesky doves again, which should have been a relief to him, but he knew that with those two gone that would mean there would be be two less people to keep the one eyed ghoul in check. A small shiver ran down his spine as he imagined what it would be like if that one eyed ran rampant.
"Ky-" He blurted as he stumbled forward from Takuma's "pat". "-Um it's Kyou." He corrected a little quieter this time. His cheeks were a little pink from the combination of embarrassment and all the attention on him, making him fidget where he stood. "It's nice to meet you." He added shyly.

The corners of Rowan's mouth stretched into a smile that almost radiated gratitude. "Thank you Seamus. I'm sure you'll be able to help me, even if it's just a little." He neatly cleaned up his food and got up from his seat. He wasn't very sure he would be very good, but he felt he definitely had to try.
-
Shiori sprinted after Setsuna, relief swelling in his chest. Finally! Shiori thought exasperatedly. Hopefully the fight between the one eyed ghoul and the doves would end with no survivors, but he knew better than to expect that. Those doves probably wouldn't make it out alive, but the thought didn't bother him.
ooc: sorry, low muse.

Rowan narrowed his eyes in a mock angry face that faded quickly. "I know what a sword is Seamus." He deadpanned, lifting a light one from a weapons rack. He held it out away from Seamus. It felt foreign and he was pretty sure his stance was way lacking. "So like this?"
-
After a moment Shiori's mouth spread into a lop-sided grin, he was still panting after the run."And that dove sounded so confident he would win too. It's a shame-" He leaned on the wall, supporting himself with his arm. The adrenaline was beginning to wear off, and stiffness began to set in. He ignored it mostly, and focused instead on slowing his breathing down.
-
ooc: I guess I forgot to log out. oops
ic: Shiori nodded slightly, agreeing. "I can say the same for you. We know now how ruthless they can be." He blinked his eyes back to their human color, and raked his hand through his hair. "They even saw me at work, I'm gonna have to lay low for a while." He huffed in annoyance, eyebrows furrowed. He rummaged in his pocket for a cigarette and lit one, his movements a little jerky from the exhaustion.
-
Rowan's face lit up and his chest swelled with pride. "You think so?" He knew there was a lot he would have to practice, but at least now he knew what it felt like to stand in a fighting stance. He held that position for a while, but his arms were starting to get tired. "So how do I actually attack?"
-
Shiori took a long drag and blew a few puffs of smoke. "Somehow, I don't think she cares." He shut his eyes for a moment before looking at Setsuna. "I do agree though, she'll probably regret her choice later when she finds herself constantly on the run. While one-eyed ghouls are extremely formidable, even they have to sleep."
-
Rowan stumbled back a little, making a sloppy swing at Seamus's blade. "Seamus-!" He shifted his stance and regained balance, now looking at Seamus a little suspiciously.
-
Shiori blew a puff of air as he straightened his jacket out. "Yeah. That probably wasn't a very good idea in retrospect." His teeth peeked out from between his lips and cigarette in a small grin, and his eyes looked less tired now that the mood was lightening. This is refreshing. He thought briefly.
ooc: I'm trying to get Jokerz Wild to get back on, but she's kinda busy lately. She said she'll probably be back soon though. just btw
-
Rowan's suspicious look lightened to a friendlier one, charmed by Seamus's gregariousness. "I can't promise I'll be very good when it comes to 'feeling' it, but I'll try." He pointed his sword towards Seamus and built his stance up, running through the imaginary checklist of things to keep in mind. "And stop with the paradoxes." He added, with more confidence that he could get this right.
-
Shiori listened quietly until she finished speaking, holding his now stub of a cigarette between two pale fingers. "I just ate yesterday, so technically I don't need to eat again..." He paused and dropped his cigarette, snuffing the embers with his foot. " Though I'd be glad to come along." He pushed himself off the wall, taking his time. "And about the Aogiri and the One-eyed ghoul-" He added, shoving his hands in his pockets. "-I wouldn't worry about them too much right now. I'm sure they have bigger game to kill than two random ghouls."
Kyou nodded gratefully. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you too." He replied, still slightly uncomfortable in the bar. The people here seem nice enough, so it can't be that bad. he thought absentmindedly. He assumed it'd be rude to leave right away so instead he sat down in one of the little booths near the group, but far enough that he'd probably not be noticed too much.
-
"Well, I'm was originally from Okazaki but moved here for school... I don't have a job yet-" He admitted a little sheepishly."-but anyways, I've been studying photography mostly." As he spoke, he began to relax in his seat. Riva's gregariousness gave the dim bar a brighter, more inviting quality." What about you guy's?" He asked, the question mostly directed at Riva since Sinclair seemed to be more of a silent type.
-
Rowan focused on Seamus's sword, deflecting it with a well placed block. He sidestepped a little and made a swift lunge while Seamus's side was open.
-
Shiori smirked, "Now you're trying to get rid of me? I'm offended Setsuna." He joked, making a mock surprised face. He began walking towards the mouth of the alleyway that connected to the street before looking over his shoulder, suddenly more serious. "Be careful Setsuna, they know your face now. I'll see you later." I hope. He added internally.
ooc: So far Shiori and Setsuna met in an alley after Shiori killed and ate a guy, Seto and Nich went looking for Setsuna and found them in the bookstore where Shiori works. Shibi(idk if the person who rp's them will be back but i'll include them anyways.) and Ophelia, the two one-eyed ghouls got in a fight which also injured Nich( again, not sure if they'll be back). Seto followed Shiori and Setsuna and then confronted them in a fight along with Nich. During the fight Ophelia intervened and is now attacking Seto. Shiori and Setsuna escaped. Kyou almost got involved with the fight between the one-eyed ghouls but was rescued by Takuma who took him to a bar/club he visits often, which happens to be run by some mobster-like ghouls, Sinclair and Riva. If I missed anything somebody can add on.

Rowan sucked in a few much needed breaths, only managing a tired nod. After tossing his sword to the ground he plopped down on the ground with a tired sigh. After calming his breathing, he finally replied. "I'm done..."
-
Ooc: Yeah, but I don't mind much. I'm trying to get on at least once a day, though the past week I forgot a few times.

ic: Shiori turned onto the street and immediately blended in with a group of people about to cross the street. He pretended to fiddle idly with his phone while waiting for the light to change, keeping an eye out for any doves or other ghouls.
