Suddenly, out of the bushes, came a whole army of squirrels!
16/30
I stood wide-eyed as the angry mob of squirrels charged towards me.
I sat, my eyes wide, my mouth open. "That's terrible!" I squealed. "That ShadowClan... Such mouse-brains!"
17/30
I bolted away, trying to make it to camp before the squirrels had me.
18/30
I stumbled over some rocks, but apparently, the squirrels had tree attackers. They landed on my back and began to carry me away.
I smirked, gladly accepting the challenge. I was always the daring type... I pounced at her, even though she was balanced on a branch. I held my claws out and yowled, "With pleasure!"
19/30
I squirmed, trying to break free of the squirrels' grasp. Strong squirrels...
I sighed. "You're right. I'm not a warrior. I'm a Blackheart Rogue!" I announced proudly. And with that, I lunged at the cat, hopefully catching them unaware. With claws unsheathed and adrenaline pumping through my veins, I aimed to knock the cat on its back.
20/30 [getting closer...]
I snapped at one of the squirrels and the cowered away. Hmm... But then they came back.. and they continued to carry me.
21/30
The tree recruits were chucking nuts at me. I glared icicles at every single one of them.
"What happened to the kits?" I asked eagerly.
22/30
I snapped at the squirrels again, thrashing wildly. I clawed onto a nearby tree, and held on for dear life.
23/30
The squirrels let go and all scurried up the same tree. I thought the branches might've broken.
24/30
I zoomed away from there, taking sharp turns. I didn't really care where I was going. Just as long as those squirrels weren't following.
25/30
I came to a halt to catch my breath. Running was hard work, even for a fit Warrior.
26/30
I yawned and scanned the canopy for any other of those squirrels. My tail twitched in annoyance.
27/30
I felt something hit my head. something small.. like a... nut? I looked to the ground to see a hickory nut laying beside my paw.
28/30 [almost there!!!!!]
I looked up to see nothing. Nothing unusual. Just branches, leaves, the sunlight breaking through the canopy...
29/30
I nimbly and silently snuck away, hoping the squirrels wouldn't find me.
30/30 [Yay! Done! This is also my 100th post!!!!!!! :D]
I crawled into camp and into the Warriors' den. I was safe... at least... that's what I thought. :)
