She turned quickly hearing Poppy and she smiled and waved, "Hii!" but she didn't notice, how when she turned she accidently made Ryker stumble. Or saw the when she put her hand down after waving that she had wacked him in the head.

Ryker almost fell over but caught himself in time and stood up turning around to great Poppy, when Rayne's hand came across his face almost making him fall back in surprise. He rubbed his cheek and said, "Watch it Ray!" he elbowed her and she elbowed him back and began to get frustrated as they did this back and forth until he remember Poppy was there, "Oh hey Poppy." he smiled.

He walked away from the docks having looked but not seen his father. Kayla rode on Shays back her head laying against his shoulder and he started off towards the fur shop. Kayla's knee digged into his side and he almost cried out but held into the pain when her knee jabbed in deeper as she held on tighter. Shay stopped hearing something dropped and he turned around finding Kayla's coat all over the ground. He sighed and put her down gently holding her hand and picking the coat up, "Kayla..." he shook his head but smiled reluctantly and saw that some of the sleeve was torn. "We need this fixed. Don't we." she nodded and he started off in a different direction.

She smiled and began to jog so Poppy didn't have to hold her hand. But she noticed Ryker and how he langed behind so Poppy kept hold of his hand. Rayne didn't say anything but continued to jog. "Where are we meeting her at again??"

His mother stopped him before they entered the small white gate that seperated them from his yard. "Mom??" he looked up at her left eyebrow raised, "One minuted hun.." she explained as she walked in the gate but had him behind her. This was somewhat odd in his opinon. "Whats goi-" she shh'd him and he snapped his mouth shut wondering what stupid game this was.

He kept Kayla next to him now as he walked past people he didn't recognize or even have ever seen before. Usually Shay was able to recognize a stranger easily, he shook his head worried that maybe he spent to much time doing stuff rather then making friends at his age. Shouldn't friends be necessary at his age? Holding tight to Kayla's hand the young man stopped infront of the seamstress's door, knowing this people were patriots and might know them as the Keller family children. Backed up in his thoughts he didn't notice when Kayla let go of his hand and wandered into the building, nor did her hear the door open. He finally noticed when he squizzed the air instead of her hand. "Kayla!?!?"

Kayla nodded with a smile and she held out her overcoat just as Shay came in right behind her. He seemed a bit tense and uncomfortable at first being inside there, but he heard that Ms.Elizabeth was a great seamstress. "She tore her over coat on our way back from the docks." he said in a quiet and shy like voice. He held back onto Kayla's hand as if she were a life reserve.

Kayla clapped her hands together, "Yay!" she smiled and tugged on Shay, "She's gonna fix it now!!" Shay nodded and gave a brief smile and looked at Elizabeth, "How much money do you want for fixing it? I could probably find my Mother and have her send you some or... umm something." he looked around the room now, a bit interested. He was born a Loyalist along with Kayla and was raised to know that being a Loyalist was good and a Patriot bad. He blinked and watched observed his surrondings getting more interesting.

He nodded and said, "Alright Ma'am I'll give you two pounds... umm thank you." his mouth formed into a small smile and Kayla held onto his hand and waved her smile hands in good bye, "Byee!" she said as Shay began to turn around and leave. His turqouise colored eyes nervous and he stopped before leaving to let Kayla on his back and she pulled at his sandy blonde hair and laughed. He chuckled and said, "Good-bye Ms.Elizabeth." then he opened the door stepping out.

"Yeah, kinda.." she smiled, "Or actually yeah I'am." she flicked her ear and then noticed he said the word too. Which meant he was bored as well. "Well. Whats all the fuss about?" Airpaw wondered.

He shook his head and struggled away from his mother, walking inside. "Mom! Dads not even home so calm your self jeez!" he shouted from the door. Then Aubrey turned around and walked down the hall past the kitchen and to his bedroom.

"Mum should be home now, so you can take a bath and stuff Kayla." he smiled as he walked through the door and his mother was near the fire relaxing and at the same time tending to her clothing. Shay watched Kayla walk over to their mother and soon she to were acting normal and playing with her toys. He turned around to leave, "And where are you going Shay?" he turned and his mother was in the hall way. Kayla hidding behind her mother's petticoat and giggling, "To the docks and check on dad then I might walk around a bit before dark falls." his mother nodded, "Alright, but be careful." she turned around and left back into the livingroom. Shay turned around and left out through the door.

"Yeah.. or something." she shrugged and looked at him, "So how was your morning?" Airpaw remembered how she use to spend her mornings with her fathers but now didn't because he died from a Adder bite.

"How do you mean?" she asked a little interested but then she didn't want to seem nosey so she dipped her head down a little and her dark icy blue eyes looked down as she added quickly, "That is if your interested in telling me." she shrugged and looked back up. Her silverish black furry tail tightening around her long legs.

She faced him watching his eyes for his emotions as he spoke, "I haven't had nightmare or dream in a while. Not ever since Nightwing died." she shrugged at her fathers name and then wondered why Lionpaw was having nightmares.

"Since a moon after Nightwing's death... I stopped dreaming all together." she shrugged it off. The feeling of no dreams, of not seeing her mother and father in her dreams was beginning to beat at her tiredly. She could tell he kind didn't want to maybe discuss his nightmare.
