Cheesecake started licking the black tom.

Caterpillar went for the sugar cube Willow was trying to eat and he bumped noses with her. "Oh, sorry," he said, taking a step back so she could the cube of SUGARNESS!!!

"I'm Caterpillar. My 'human's' name is Kat. So, where did you come from? Like, I mean, before you came here...?" he asked awkwardly, chewing on his cube.

Cheesecake was about to leave when she turned around and raced over to her sister.

"I'm from Kentucky, too," he said. He really was. "A nice green place close to the mountains."

Kat came out to the field and tried to put a halter on Caterpillar. He decided to be stubborn, so he held his head up where she couldn't reach.

(Switching cats, the other one died) Fat Tony (who is a real cat) stalked around. No vampire would stick their fangs into his fat pelt. He saw Amberheart, then noticed the vampire cats advancing on her. He ran to her aid. (drama... 8))

"We need to practice jumping for that competition, dude!" Kat said to her horse. She knew he couldn't understand her, but she told him things anyway. They needed to practice for a cross country race. She still needed a partner...

"Willow, I really do need to practice.... Do you have anything going on on Saturday?" he asked. Could she and Jo be the second half of their team?

"Shimmer!" she cried, pulling on the latch. "We need to get out of here, now! Come on you stupid paw," she said, trying to fit her fat paw in the lock. "Help!"

Fat Tony stood at Amberheart's side. No one would get passed him. (Except maybe Circe and Apollo...)

"There's a cross country race Saturday and it requires two horses and people. Maybe you could do it with us!" he said, being dragged out of the pasture.

Kat put his tack on and they went out to the jumping course. I'll ask Jo after we get done...

"Oh well. Thank you, kit. May the odds of getting out be ever in your favor," she said, running to the door.

No matter what happened, Fat Tony would stay at her side.

Caterpillar smiled.

Kat mounted him and they started the jumping course. Caterpillar knocked the fourth jump down and tapped the seventh with his hoof, but other than that, he did really well. Kat led him back to the barn and groomed him. She put him back in the pasture and went searching for Jo.

Caterpillar pranced over to Willow. "I think Kat's going to find Jo!" he said, excited, to the tune of "It's begining to Look a Lot Like Christmas".

Fat Tony got in the fighting crouch. it was old and rusty, but it was still the fighting crouch.

She saw Amberheart and the fox and ran to her. "I don't know how to fight, but if I spend my last minutes with you, it will have been an honor," she said in her accent. She hurled herself at the fox.

Fat Tony took a step closer to the vampire cats.

Kat looked around and found Jo. There she is! She waited patiently for Jo to finish.
