Lynxfur smelt blood and with a sudden jolt he Ran out side of the camp.soon he came To were Cherryfeather lay, he ran to her she was soaked with blood he Grabbed her scruff and knowing not to drag her to camp he dragged her inside some berry bushes by the brook and splashed some water on her wounds to wash away the blood,"stay here don't move even if you smell the dog,I'm going back to camp to get more warriors I'll be right back I promise".

Soon Lynxfur saw Tinystep and the other warriors but his eyes were mostly drawn to tinystep,then a sudden thought came to his head," do I love her"soon he realized he did.

Lynxfur was deep in thought when he remembered what happened, he jumped up and ran to cherryfeather as he heard her Mutter the words "thank you" he replied "your welcome" soon he helped the other warriors bring her to camp.

Lynx fur padded to the medicine cat den, knowing that birchstar was heartbroken He said in a soft voice ,"do you want me to lead a patrol to make sure the dog is not still around?"
