Valkyrie sighed; she was in China's libarary and there was nothing to do. She tried reading but no book could stop her from worrying about Skulduggery. He was doing something and for the moment she was in China's care. She slipped her black coat off of her shoulders and looked around. She wished Tanith were here; Tanith would help her take her mind off it.

OOC: Just play along. Valkyrie and Tanith have a 'sisterly' relationship. It's pretty easy.

Valkyrie's long wild hair blew in the breeze. Her dark eyes scanned the area. She saw Blake lying on the floor. "Blake!" She rushed over to him, She nodded to Evelyn. "Check his pulse." Her hair blew ferosiously as she tried tending to Blake. She stood up again; Where-ever the man that had done this was, He was going to my a hefty fine. His life.

A tear rolled down Valkyrie's face. She had not known Blake but they were cell-mates. She turned her head and looked to the king; Her eyes blazed with anger and she was not going to take it out on anyone else but him. Her hair covered her face completely for a second, Valkyrie brushed the hair out of her face with a graceful sweeping motion. She sighed. "Blake, Blake? Remember me? Valkyrie? We used to play together when we were younger..."

"Blake, I need you to listen to me. You need to stay awake. For me and Evelyn." Valkyrie's eyes were brimming with tears. She looked to Evelyn. "We need to bandage his wounds. And we need to act fast!" She ripped off the bottom of her shirt. She bound it tightly around some of his wounds; restricting the blood-flow so that his heart could pump more blood around his body, losing minimal amounts. "Blake, You can get thorugh this!"

"Blake!" She shouted at the top of her voice. Her irish accent was heavy and fresh. She stood up and approached one of the guards; a determintation in her eyes that had never been seen before. She squared her shoulders; She was taller than this guard by 3 or 4 inches. She snarled. "You'd better help that man over there." She paused. "He is dying. And if you won't help him... You'll be the one dying." She smiled evilly. Her threat was not idle. she would fufill it if she had to. She patted the soldier on the head. "Go on. That's a good boy."

OOC: Okay. Oz, Could you do the reaction of the soldier Valkyrie told what to do?

IC: Valkyrie's voice was menacing. She had given the soldier and order and if he didn't follow it she would punish him and his work-mates. She looked to the Soldier again. "You, Little man, Are going to help me and my friend keep our friend alive!" She snarled again. Squaring her shoulders. Preparing to fight if needed.

Valkyrie smiled, "You are right. I am a witch." The clicked her fingers and a flame was in the middle of her palm. She bent over and held it to his face, Eyes gistening menacingly. "Unless you and your king like being scorched..." She developed the flame to create a fireball. She burnt the tip of his nose purposly. She snarled. "You, you ignorant little dwarf. Will do what I say. Or you will be medium rare." She smiled and called back to Evelyn. "How do you like your soldier? Rare or Medium Rare!" She sneered.

"All of the Above." She sighed and lapped up some water from the River.

"No thanks, I already ate." Shadow sighed; She hated her life.

She saw nothing but the book sitting in her lap and the vast bookshelves around her.
