My eyes are real light grey in the middle, but as it goes out it turns to a real light blue-grey, and on the outside is like a ring of dark blue.

Lully was sitting in a corner of the library, thinking about the baby. She was due any day now, but wasn't really ready for it to come. Everything had gone wrong in her life. Quail, Kaylee, the twins... all gone. Forever. Next to her lay a few old letters, a thick leather book, and a rose. A rose she had grown from seed, planting it when she found out about the baby... A white rose, for Ty. The pot was a small, dirt-filled ceramic bowl. Lully let some of the dirt run through her fingers, softly rubbing it against her pale skin. Earth. Quail.
She gingerly picked up the book, unbuckling the hinge that protected it from outsiders. Outsiders who didn't share their pain. She opened the book, rifling through the thick pages which contained the last memories. Pictures everywhere, mainly sketches that Lully had done; a laughing Quail, the twins under a tree, thinking they were alone, and Kaylee- beautiful Kaylee, her eyes warm, smile melancholy. And of course, her favorite- the whole group, together, cooling under the shade of a tree, with even Damon smiling. Lully supposed it was time.
She stood, and at Damon's last words, edged out of the shadows. Her pale blue hair hung against her side in a braid. "Damon?" Lully's voice was soft and sweet. His figure, large and muscled, would have been intimidating to one only 5'4", but she knew him so well she even could bring out his soft side. Her deep grey eyes sparkled like stars in the fading twilight shimmering gently in the outside world.

The only clue to where she had gone was deep pawprints in the gooey mid-autumn mud and a slight trace of her dark chocolate fur, gossamer and fine, clinging to a thorn bush.
