Benjamin instantly lowered his voice as well. "Gotcha, sorry I asked." He murmured. "Well are you hungry or anything?" He asked, his voice back to it's normal volume.

Ryuichi had just left his home a day or two ago and was on the route to Striaton City. He walked along with his Oshawott right by his side, the two looked overly cheerful anfd full of energy.

Benjamin nodded. "Yeah sure, I'm hungry!" He exclaimed chuckling.

You can be either and you don't have to be from black and white!

Benjamin frowned and nodded quietly. "I do actually." He said sighing as they walked into the dining hall.

"Their tongues...they're cut out." Benjamin murmured.

(Cool! And not at all!)

Ryuichi walked along, but his Oshawott noticed something. It turned abot curiously until it spotted a shape laying in the grass. Curious, it ran over towards the houndour.

"Oshawott~! Are you playing tag?" The child like teen known as Ryuichi called as he ran after it laughing.

"Because...they rebelled against the capital so they're punished in this way." Benjamin replied quietly shaking his head.

Oshawott stumbled back in surprise and ran back toward Ryuichi.

Ryuichi laughed and picked the small wate type up. "Gotch-" He cut off when he saw the houndour as well and he crouched down, curious. "Huh? What's that?" He wondered pulling out his pokedex to analyze it.

Ryuichi took a step back, but kneeled down and smiled at the houndour with his big goofy grin. "Aw, don't be scared!" He replied. "There's no need to be, but if you are I know just the trick to calm you down!" He exclaimed cheerfully grabbing a stuffed pink bunny out of his bag.

Oshawott gave his trainer a confused look. He didn't understand the guy sometimes.

Benjamin was going to ask what, but since she didn't continue it probably wasn't meant to be said here, so he kept walking until they soon approached the dining area.

Ryuichi smiled invitingly and reached out a hand to the young houndour. "Easy does it!" He encouraged.

Ryuichi laughed and embraced the houndour. "See how easy that was? Easy, easy!" He said cheerfully, patting it gently.

Oshawott inspected the pokemon and gave it an occasional poke.

Oshawott squealed when the houndour licked him and shook himself off. It tried to look mad, bit couldn't hide it's amusement.

Ryuichi laughed as he saw the two interact and turned his attention to the houndour. He wondered if it may be lost since it wasn't a typical Unova pokemon. "So do you have a trainer, houndour?" He asked tilting his head slightly.

Benjamin walked in after her. "So, what are you going to eat?" He asked.

"I'll just have the same as you so I won't be much trouble." Benjamin replied.

(I have to go be back tomorrow though! ^^)

"Osha!" 'That's awful!' Oshawott replied frowning.

"Oh? Well houndours aren't very common here you know! You're totally new to me which is really cool! A few days into my journey and I've seen a houndour! Can you believe it?!" He exclai Ed excitedly smiling.

(I have to go! Be back tomorrow though!)

Oshawott laughed. "Oshawott! Osh!" 'I know, but he's usually like that all the time!'

Ryuichi laughed as houndour jumped into his arms. "So cute~!" He exclaimed petting the pup and rocking back and forth with it.

Benjamin waited alongside Jade, only turning when he heard another girl calling Jade's name.
