"Do you possibly know the way around here?" Sleetstar asked. Chickadee nodded. "Yes, I do. Where do you come from?" She asked. "I am the leader of Cloudclan." She informed. Chickadee nodded. "Yes, that's one of the two groups of cats I've heard of." She continued. "What is the other?" Sleetstar asked. "A band of rouges where my mother's mother was born. Why do you need to know?" Chickadee asked. "I'm trying to find my friend, Sparrowflight."

"Oh, yes. In fact, I think I saw a sunrise ago. They were heading to the north, talking about some tribe. Should we follow them?" Chickadee asked. Sleetstar nodded. "Oh yes, that would be very kind, thank you." Chickadee gave a nod, and they padded as two to the north. Soon, the terrain grew somewhat rocky. "Where do you come from, Chickadee?" Sleetstar asked. "By a nice lake. It was calm there, but twolegs came and we were forced to flee." Chickadee replied.

After what seemed like hours of conversation, the stale scent of cats hit their noses Is this the right place, Swanfeather? she asked in her mind.

Once in the den, she prodded Quartz around with her nose. Something isn't right. Why would a loner come with a prophecy? Quartz stood up. "I believe I'm quite fine now, dear," She said, with a tone that tried to sound like honey, but failed (epically). I don't trust her... she thought.

Lavenderkit awoke in the morning. Her eyelids flipped open. Whoa! The dawn sky was a rosy pink, with the occasional orange puff. She examined her and her siblings.

"Oh, no, there is nothing to be afraid of." she cackled. She grabbed her by the scruff. "Come," She said stiffly. "Not like you have a choice," She said evilly. She put the kit by a pile of food. "I need you to sort through this food and get rid of the crowfood. No eating on the job." She informed.

Lavapaw emerged. "Come on, we need to practice. Your mentor says that if you don't come, you will have to tend to the elders." Whenever Sunpaw had to do work for the elders, Lavapaw would get most ticks off before Sunpaw gets there to help out. He was pretty sure he knew about it too.
