His usually stern eyes softened, and a gleam of affection passed through him. "That would be nice." he mewed. He then pushed the rabbit closer to Brindle. "Here, you take some first." Treeblaze shyly looked at his paws.

ic: Ivy leaf tensed as the pair reached the border. Her claws slid out as a snarl appeared on her face. "Eagleclaw, LOOK!!!" she hissed with disgust. "INVADERS........." A group of warriors from a bordering clan were slowly stalking through the ferns a few foxlengths inside the border, stalking a rabbit. Ivyleaf then bunched her muscles and leapt in front of the invading patrol, scaring away the rabbit. "Prey-Stealers!!!!!" she spat.

He nervously took a bite. "Well, it's rare to find such a beautiful she-cat with such bravery and independance as you, Brindle.'' he meowed. Then he stiffened as a Fox dashed quickly passed the cave's entrance, darting after a fat squirell. Treeblaze then purred with amusement. "Ha, guess we aren't the only ones hungry for breakfast." Slowly, he set his tail on Brindle's, hoping she wouldn't notice.

" Well, what about a battle?" Poison hissed sinisterly. "Then we can see who is FIT to be the deputy." Her long curved claws slid out as she clawed the ground mercilessly. "Now, THAT would be FUN!!"

"Well, I guess you bring out the best of me?" he mewed. Treeblaze then licked the tip of her ear. "You make me feel.......complete?..........Whole?........................................maybe even, loved?"

He purred. "That was the only thing I have wanted since I first saw your face in the forest." His slightly embarrased smile told Brindle just how much he meant it.

"Maybe I can show off some of new defenseive moves that Redfaether taught me!" Her eyes narrowed. "I bet none of you expected to have to drag along a medicine cat with you on your first warriorless battle, huh?" she meowed playfully

jayfeather dashed by a tree and noticed his apprentice crouched inside. He grabbed her by the scruff and continued to run back to camp. "What were you thinking?" he hissed through her fur. "That tree would have flooded!" he sighed. "At least i found you."

Jayfeather burst into the camp, attempting to place in which directions the tangy salt scent of the water was coming from. "Ivorypaw!" he yowled over the wind. "We have to find the rest of the clan, and make sure they're safe!" he then turned and bolted out of camp as lightning flashed, and a dead tree fell a few tail legnths in front of him. Now he really WAS trapped! with the rain blowing so hard, he couldn't hear or smell any sign of his scattered clanmates. "PLEASE HOLLYLEAF, HELP!!" he howled, hoping his dead sister would come to his aid. "StarClan, save my clan!" Jayfeather Scrabbled over the tree, forgeting all about the abandoned camp.

He nervously fidgeted with his large paws. "So, does this mean, you know,...we're mates?" he asked. His tail wrapped around Brindles, so that they looked alomost braided together. "I DO love you, you know. And we could have the most amazing kits, with your beauty and spirit?"

"Good. I would have killed myslef if you had said anything different." he meowed. Treeblaze stretched his neck to likck the tip of Brindle's ear. "Brindle, you have made my life complete."

Ivyleaf padded over to Crowpaw. "I promise, I will avenge your family. They were good friends to me."

ic: Treeblaze entered the cave with a large rabbit and a vole in his jaws. He padded over to Brindle, who was peacfully sleeping in her nest. "Wake up, Brindle. I caught us breakfast." he purred. He sat down beside her, until she woke up.

Jayfeather tried to howl over the feirce winds. "WE MUST GO TO HIGHER GROUND< WE HAVE TO GO INTO WINCALN TERRITORY!! IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE THIS!!!" his claws scrabbled for a grip on the wet stones, nearly falling off several times.

Ivylaef sighed. "I understand. But remember, Your clan and i will be behind you all the way." she rested her muzzle on Crowpaw's head.

"Thanks. And actually, now that its Greenleaf, prey is scurrying about more." He gently nuzzled his mate. "Looks like our kits will be born anyday now. Later today I am going to talk to the healer at the edge of the forest. If anyone can help you while you kit, He can." he meowed, pushing the rabbit toward Brindle. "Here. You need to keep up your strength."

Jayfeather dashed over to Ivorypaw and Sweetpaw. "Here." he muttered s he lifted Gingerpaw in his own jaws. He sniffed. "We need to get to WindClan territory before I can Get the water out of his lungs. He lead the two apprentices toward the other thunderclan cats, now traveling into Windclan territory.

When Jayfether caught up, he noticed a limp body being dragged in Bramblestar's jaws. He sniffed. Suirrelflight!! She was still alive, but barely. He hoped that Krestalflight would have the herbs he needed to treat all of these cats. 'Oh StarClan, what have we done so wrong?' he thought.
