Building that Dries to Dust sat down, grooming one of her paws. She had been hunting and her paws were tired, not to mention she had stepped on a thorn. She blinked her alice blue eyes and gave her light red tabby pelt a quick wash.

Hushgaze sat on a mound of earth near the border, licking her paw. She had just pulled a sharp thorn out of it and she was licking up the small amount of blood that had trickled out of the pad. She set her paw down and tasted the air. She soon scented a rabbbit and dropped into the hunter's crouch.

Hushgaze, still in the hunter's crouch, looked at the tom in annoyance.
