Ambermist couldn't wait for the next day. Finally, it was. She ran to their meeting place. "Ragingtorrent," she called.

Nightshadow decided to have a hunting patrol. She called a few cats over.

"It's great to see you too!" Ambermist mewed. She nuzzled him affectionately.

Ambermist entwined her tail with his. "I love you," she purred. "I don't care what happens to me because of the code."

"Okay," Nightshadow meowed, satisfied. "Let's go."

Fawnspirit bounded up to her. "I've heard there's an unknown sickness among the clans. Luckily, there's no sign of it here," she informed the leader.

Ambermist closed her eyes in pleasure, but when she opened them, she was having a vision. She was in StarClan territory. Her clan's previous leader stood before her. "Greetings, Ambermist," he meowed.
"Cheetahstar." She dipped her head. "We have been watching you. We know what you have been doing, but you will not be punished. A time of great change has come to the forest, and unnessasary rules may be broken. This is your destiny," Cheetahstar meowed. And he faded away before Ambermist could say a word. She was ecstatic!

Nightshadow spotted a sparrow pecking on the leaves. She slowly crept toward it, then pounced before it She soon caught a lizard and a vole. She saw that Hawkswoop and Swifmoon had also collected a lot of prey.

"I think it could have been Twoleg spoiled prey," she replied thoughtfully. "Possibly a Twoleg sickness."
