"Cloudstar?"asks Willowleaf. "I'll help fix the apprentices' den if you want.I'm free at the moment."

Willowleaf was having a nightmare. She was drowning in a strong current, tugging her fur and pulling her down.Choking,she struggled against the deadly current. She woke up with a start, realizing the reason of her dream.
The whole den was flooded up to her knees.Luckily, though, her nest had mostly kept her out of the water,at least enough for her not to drown in her sleep.She splashed through the den, nearly bumping right into Cloudstar.
"Um, Cloudstar?"said Willowleaf. "I think we have a problem..."

Willowleaf walked toward the sound of many cats meowing something about eggs. She stopped before a very strange looking egg. It was so colorful! "I wonder what bird laid theseeggs." She stooped down to sniff it. "Hmm... Seems safe." She licked the egg. "Whoa! It tastes...sweet!"
"Snowpaw! Help me find some more of these eggs." Willowleaf picked the egg up gently in her mouth ,and hid it under a fern before her apprentice came.

Snowpaw came bounding over. "What eggs,Willowleaf?"
Willowleaf sighed in exasperation. " Everyone's talking about them,you know. I only just found one now. Here, try some." She pushed her egg from it's hiding place. Snowpaw gave it a tentative lick, then another, and another.
"I'll help you find a million eggs just to have this one!"
"Okay,then let's start!"meowed Willowleaf. She led Snowpaw through the forest, bumping into many cats along the way. But they were all searching for the eggs. " I found an egg! " exclaimed Snowpaw. Instantly, a rogue came and took his egg.
Willowleaf hissed.

Snowpaw sighed, and went over to a hollow log. " I found another," he mouthed to Willowleaf. She nodded her head and motioned that she found one too. They dug a deep hole and gently dropped them in. They covered it with moss, then scent-marked around it.
"Well," said Willowleaf,"now we can keep looking, until we make an egg-freshkill-pile! "
They started sniffing for more eggs until they'd found seven,then started carrying them, two by two,until they had two left to eat now. " I hope we can just eat these for the the rest of our lives!"meowed Snowpaw with a mouthful of tasty egg.

Willowleaf stepped into the forest to stumble over something. She looked down to see a brightly colored egg. "Weird... I wonder what bird laid this egg," she thought aloud. Willowleaf gave it a tentative lick :P. "Mmm... It's sweet!" "I wonder..." She sniffed around some more, until she found another egg...and another...and another! "They're all over the place!"she meowed. Willowleaf soon found many other cats looing for the eggs. [move]EGGS EVERYWHERE![/move]

Willowleaf collected 6 eggs. One for her,one for her apprentice, Duskpaw,the rest for the elders,since they couldn't come and get the eggs for themselves. Of course she wouldn't tell the elders that,though. They wouldn't be to happy about that... She carried them back to the camp entrance two by two, then went back to the egg hunt. "I bet this has something to do with Twolegs. Stupid Twolegs and their kits.. Live such soft lives,having such tasty treats every day. We warriors
earned this." she said to no one in particular.
