Leon was only startled, he remained steadily during the impact, but the same couldn't be said about the other boy. At least he wasn't harmed in the slightest, not that he really cared, but injuring civilians wasn't on his to do list. Then the thought crossed his mind, this was something different, something new and full of opportunities. The short boy had apologized, he didn't really want to be rude to the stranger. Leon gave him his best smile and said "It's okay, it's behalf on me too, I should have been more careful" that was his apology, couldn't really bring himself to say sorry, but that didn't matter, without thinking much, he extended his hand and with the same bright smile introduced himself "I'm Leon, considering the bad first impression, it's actually nice to meet you."
-
Well that took a darker turn, I'm sorry for your loss, but let's not turn this into a chat room. The story must continue, we also need to be patient and wait for each other
-
The mentioning of school made Leon frown a little, he didn't want to go there, but that was the initial plan and Ash looked somewhat eager to go, must have meant that they had to part ways. After fixing his glasses that had begun to slide off his nose, Leon pointed towards the direction that his school was "The school I attend is that way, could have gone much quicker from my usual route, but decided to spice it up a bit"
-
Hey, sounds interesting, when considering the meeting, my character could found themselves lost on their way home, because they just moved in town and went out exploring without knowing the place all that well. When it comes to the love story we may just see how the two roll together.
-
Leon was kinda surprised as well, he liked to believe that he knew a good portion of the students, but how come that he had never seen this boy before. Curiosity wrapped itself against him. He considered the shorter boy's offer, he usually always walked alone to school, wouldn't mind some company now. He nodded at Ash and without wasting anymore time started walking towards the school. "Say, how come I've never seen you before, transferred student or you are just really good at keeping a low profile"
-
He noted the boy's good physical condition, his normal pace was usually faster than most people, but Ash didn't seem to be bothered by it. When it came to school Leon was well known among a lot of people, his father taught him that it's good to be on good terms with the ones around you, even if they are not in your friends circle, a simple hello goes a long way. "About me, I've been for quite a while attending that school, I guess you are just that good at keeping a low profile that you haven't really noticed me, I'm quite the social person, what year are you in"
-
There are a few mature topics, can you specify?
-
Third year wasn't bad at all, Leon would be there too if it wasn't for the accident, but he preferred not to speak of it, it was bad enough to make him miss a year of school. He fell in thoughts for rather long, thinking about that night where everything went wrong. After the silence got to him, Leon said "I'm only in my second year, I guess I should call you my big bro" after the last part left his mouth, he chuckled, it was so inappropriate, but if not for him to make inappropriate jokes, no one else would.

If it doesn't go to the extreme of breaking the forum's rules, count me in

Fair enough, you got yourself a partner

The smalltalk distracted Leon from the journey, soon they were on the school ground, they weren't terribly late, there were still a few students that he recognized looming outside the buildings. "Looks like it's time for us to part ways" but then an idea came to his mind "hey, Ash I actually feel kinda bad for the first impression, how about I take you for a coffee after school, as a compensation for my carelessness" that was a good plan, he really wanted an excuse to break his usual routine.
-
Maybe we can go back to more ancient times, there was a war between two major tribes and one of our character got captured as a war prisoner by the opposing tribe, but turns out that they are really important to the others and they try to bring them back at all cost
-
Leon gave the boy another bright smile "Then it's settled, meet ya here after school" after those words he ran off, didn't really want to deal with a pissed off teacher. He got in class just a few minutes after it had started, oddly enough the teacher ignored him. Leon took his place, time to play the waiting game, he thought about the encounter throughout his classes, there was something slightly off about Ash, but couldn't wrap his mind around what it was.

The basics of the plot:
While on a daily hunt my character (Ren) finds a girl, that was on an expedition, trying to discover the remains of a long lost civilization, but go figure something goes wrong, half of the group slipped into madness, because they overstepped the sacred bounds. Our job is to find the remaining survivors and take you out of the jungle. A love story is not necessary, but it could potentially unfold. Ren is a part of an Amazonian tribe, purposefully avoiding the civilization. A female character is recommended since the amazons will go a lot easier on a female. Overall you have the freedom to do as you please with your character. Those are just the most basic stuff, more will be uncovered during the story. Magically there is no language barrier.
No form needed, just jump right in.
Ren:
Ren was woken up by the cries of a raven, outside her hut. She hated that cursed animal, it was no warrior, it always followed a skilled killer, looming over them, waiting to claim the remains of their kill. Simple scavengers, only battling among themselves for old meat. Cursing the death‘s bird she got ready, the sun had just begun to rise, giving colour to the Jungle, despite the early hours, most of the tribe members were already up. Some were getting ready to go on a patrol around their territory, others were preparing today‘s meals, the younger ones were preparing the animal skins, it was quite lovely. Ren didn‘t have much time to admire the scenery, it was her turn to bring fresh meat to the others, she gathered the needed things for today and ventured into the trees.

And just like that the classes rolled one after another, Leon didn't notice the boy during the breaks or he just wasn't looking careful enough, far too many people wanted his attention or opinion, he didn't really care, but tried his best, not wanting to get on their bad side. After the last bell rung for the day, he slipped out of his seat, gathered his stuff and went straight to the spot where he would be meeting Ash.
-
He waited patiently, it haven't been that long, only a couple of minutes, but he could feel a ball of excitement, jumping around in his stomach, it wasn't weird, it was a new experience so it was only natural for him to feel like that, the moment he saw Ash a smile appeared on his face. He waited for his new friend to approach him, didn't want to seem too eager, after greeting the boy, he decided to give a little information about the cafe "It's a really nice place, I'm telling you, but the walk there is kinda long, actually won't spoil it for you " the best really was to just let Ash see for himself if he liked it or not.

Let's just start :)
That's Vayne:
"I can't believe this happened, again" Vayne was pissed, she couldn't believe it "All I did was take one turn, one simple turn" her situation was stupid, she wasn't the best with directions, but that overstepped all boundaries. It wasn't exactly her first day in this town, but she wasn't familiar with the infrastructure at all. It's not like everything looked the same, everything looked different from one another, but she struggled to find a pattern. It was already getting dark, the streets were unusually empty. She just continued to walk, it would be a bad idea to stop now. But after walking for a while her legs started to hurt, she had to rest, but then she spotted something that looked out of place, it was a well. "It wouldn't hurt to stop for a few minutes" she approached it, sat on the ground and placed her back on the stone walls.

He thought for a while the gang activities won't do, not only because those stuff were forbidden to discuss and would get him in trouble, but because he wasn't a big fan of it, but no way he could evade the family tradition. "Well you see, my friend I really enjoy reading, that's part of why I like the cafe, it provides a quiet environment"
-
It didn't take him long to answer "I enjoy mysteries, there is just something so addicting in the way authors mess with your mind, trying to twist your perception of reality" he was being honest, he didn't really have the time or motivation to just watch a movie, a book was an excellent way to challenge his mind. "Do you keep any pets, Ash?"
