ALLY THE HUMAN

Ally's grey-blue eyes opened slowly, still sticky with sleep. Her thick eyelashes fluttered, as a small hand wriggled clumsily out of the animal fur blankets to rub the sleep out of her eyes. Mornings were the worst. Bed was so comfortable, and Ally often felt like she was breaking up with her bed when she got up in the mornings. But she did what she had to do, she was an adventurer after all, wasn't she? Eventually both Ally's slender arms emerged from the blankets and threw them aside, her legs slowly following. For a moment she sat there, eyes still straining to wake, before she slugged out and padded across the wooden floor of the treehouse.

Descending down the ladder to the kitchen and living room, Ally slugged to the kitchen and opened the fridge. What to have..... She thought drowsily, eyeing the contents of her refrigerator. Scrambled eggs, toast or bacon. Ally's eyes noticed the last bit of milk in the carton and opted for cereal, as usual. Pouring some of her favourite cereal, she added the milk and dropped onto the couch to chew the sweetness mixed with milk. Ally looked up at the coffee maker, and wondered if she should have some coffee. Her and Drew usually did have some in the morning, but today she wasn't feeling it. Maybe tomorrow... Ally thought to herself, finishing her cereal and dumping the bowl in the sink.

Now, clothes. Ally looked down at herself. She was only wearing an orange singlet and a pair of grey undies. Didn't really matter, she and Drew had gotten used to seeing eachother in their underwear. They were like siblings. Running a hand through her tousled brown locks, Ally made her way back up to her bedroom. Once up there, she flicked on her old stereo briefly, to listen to her favourite morning song, Someday, Someday by Thirsty Merc. A bit of a romancey song, but Ally liked it anyway. Throwing open the door to her wardrobe, Ally threw on a navy blue t-shirt and a pair of loose draw-string black shorts. Comfortable and left Ally with full range of mobility. She hated tight clothes. Pulling on her black running boots and pulling her thick hair into a ponytail, Ally put on her signature hat, made from fox with the little ears and everything. That was her and Drew, the wolf and the fox.

Hearing her name being called, Ally rolled her eyes. "Don't get your knickers in a knot, I'll be down in a second," Ally laughed, jumping down the ladders and slinging her white backpack over her shoulder. Flashing a grin at Drew, Ally aimed a playful punch at his arm. "What are we waiting for, lets go!" She laughed, opening the door and jogging out into the sun.

[sup]Alex....you can do it.......straight through the heart, he won't feel any pain.......hurry!!!

Alex stared down at the young wolf boy she held down below her, her breathing hard as the golden orbs pleaded up at her. He was only young, he had a whole life ahead of him, Alex didn't have to do it. But if she didn't, then what would happen? Her father's steady gaze stared down her shoulder, just waiting for her to kill the young supernatural like the rest of her family had. They'd all gone through this, it was better this way. Then nobody would get hurt. Except this boy. And his family, friends...' Alex though numbly, the silver dagger held at her ear, ready to strike. One blow, that was all that was needed. She could do it. Alex just didn't know if she could live with herself. The young boy whimpered beneath her, squirming under the knee that pinned down his neck. He could see that she didn't want to. But she had to. This was her destiny, this was what she had to do. Alex raised her arm, and saw the young boy squeeze his eyes shut. With one swift blow, Alex shut her knife and brought the knife down.

[sup]"Bye Dad. Yep. I know, keep and eye out. Dad, I know! You can go now." Alex slammed the door to her fathers car shut, her other hand supporting her suitcases, before turning and making her way to the dorm block. First day on campus, and Alex was already feeling the pressure. Tugging her bags behind her Alex entered the block and looked at the numbers on doors, feeling slightly lost. finally finding her dorm number, 201, Alex shoved the door open with her hip and dragged her bags inside. Her olive eyes widened slightly, surprised at how big it was. She didn't even have a roommate.

"This is pretty nice...." Alex mumbled, smiling slightly, before dropping onto one of the plush couches and admiring the space. She was so glad she'd came here, no parents, no pressure of her duties, nothing. She could just be herself. But yeah, she hadn't forgotten she needed to keep an eye out, but whatever. Alex didn't want to be here for that. She wanted to be here for....a getaway really. Jumping off the couch, Alex dragged her bags into the bedroom, smiling wider at the comfortable looking bed. Perfect.

Unzipping one of the bags, Alex pulled out a handful of clothes, pulling them on before heading off the to bathroom to fix her bed-head. She could thank a sleep in the car on the way here for that. She finger-combed her silky dark-chocolate hair before pulling it into a medium loose ponytail and tying her shoelaces. After finishing looking casually presentable Alex packed her schoolbag with a few books and pencils, not much on the first day. She just wanted to be prepared anyway. With that, she grabbed her wallet and keys, locked her dorm door and made her way to class.

Eyes glued on studying the timetable in front of her, Alex managed to find her way to the right class, entering timidly and glancing at the others before her. Few boys, few girls, Alex noticed them all. Not having a group of friends to sit with, she chose a seat next to the window in the second to last row. They all looked...nice enough. No supernaturals from what she could detect, but these guys were crafty. She'd have to keep an extra good eye out. Looking around, she caught the eyes of one boy in particular, who seemed to be looking at her. Casting her eyes away, she decided on looking out the window instead.

Hey everyone, Logic here! I just wanted to apologise for how dramatically inactive I've been lately, but I've been wildly busy with Christmas and all, but since I got a laptop for Christmas, I'm back and as active as ever! So yeah, expect lots of posts and threads from me, you cheeky people C:

Also, to any other threads I was in before 'The Big Inactivity', I don't think I'll be posting on them anymore. As I don't know about what's happening or anything, I'm kind of starting fresh, yeah? So anyway, logical nonsense is back and active again!
