"Alright, Cheska, Sundrop, and Echo will come on the patrol with me." We leave now, so get wary, tough, and determined. We will protect this pack, EVEN IF WE DIE TRYING! WHO'S WITH ME?!" Winterfeather shouted triumphantly. She sniffed the coyote carcass one more time. "Hmm, I feel like I..know this smell.."

Turquoise was hungry, and began to hunt.

"Alright, let's sniff the perimeter for any fresh signs of intruders."

"Oh, hi there!" Turquoise said as a cat approached her.

Winterfeather pricks her ears. "Hmm, a deer fleeing huh? Could be a sign of a (mountain) lion. Or even another wolf. Could have just spooked itself though.." she said, questioning her options. "Oh hey, there's a big boulder over there, I could climb up it to see the forest from up high, maybe I'll see something. You guys can come up too, but make sure at least one of you is surveying the area from below, just to be sure." She said, her tail wagging.

Icemoon howled. "I am putting together a pack hunting party. Anyone who wants to go can, including omegas."

Winterfeather came down and inspected it. "I know this smell, it's the one that was on the coyote. It's definitely another wolf." But then she smelled that mysterious smell again. "Wait a second, i'm getting something. Oh..oh god.. I fear now we have two problems on our hands now. There is definitely an intruding wolf or two on our territory." She spotted some dried blood on a branch near by. It wasn't the fox's. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a perfect circle on a tree where the bark had broken off. Her ears laid back in fear. She knew now. "Guys, come down and over here, listen to my theory. Our dearest alphas where heading back to camp after alone time, when something hit them and made them flee away from here, getting more and more lost into the forest. After enemy packs realized our alphas were gone, they took this as an opportunity to overthrow Smiling Moon pack and gain more territory. They started sending scouts out here to inspect the territory, and the prey, which is how we picked up their scent. I think we are dealing with the most dangerous of them all." She gulped. "I think we are dealing with.... Twolegs.."

"I hope you are right, but keep it down. I've been around these things before, and sometimes they stay in the area for days on." Just then she saw a shine in the distance. OOC: Bambi reference- "What the.." Before she could finish, a bullet whizzed past her, narrowly missing. "Go, go, go!" On the run she asked Cheska."Should we try to attack it?"

Looking back she saw Sundrop strugling. The hunter was about to shoot. Winterfeather ran as fast as she could and bulldozed Sundrop over, saving her from the next shot. "Come on, Sundrop, follow me!" She shouted, helping her up. Another bulled whizzed past, barely brushing Winter's neck. "Go, go, go!"

"Yes, know. They are the reason I have my scar. Darkmoon, are you feeling okay?" She asked curiosly.

"Echo, you're okay! Thank goodness!" Winter barked and wagged her tail hard.

"Darkmoon? Darkmoon, are you feeling alright?" Winter asked worriedly. OOC: If you haven't noticed, Winter is Winterfeather's nickname now for the sake of efficiency.-
