OOC: where can I go? I'm going to have Rob go after Terry... I'll try to catch up with you guys...
Rob had left the apartment, and was heading home, when he decided to go visit Terry. He was feeling lonely, and need some company. Normal company. Those mutants were to.. mutant. A grim smile spread across his face, and he shook his head. Who was he kidding?
Very soon, he was in front of Terry's house. He took a moment to slick his hair back, plaster a smile on his face, make sure his clothes were perfect, and then walked up to the door. He rang the bell, and the door was flung open after 3 seconds. Terry's mom was standing in front of him, hair looking as wild as ever, with a pencil behind her ear, large glasses, and a clipboard in one hand. "Hey Rob," she greeted him with a huge smile. "Glad you could drop by!"
"Yeah, I was driving past you guys, when I thought I would stop and say hi... where's Terry?"
"Upstairs, come in, won't you?" She ushered him into the living room, and pointed in by a dilapidated sofa by the window, his favorite. "One second... TERRY!! YOU KNOW WHO IS HERE!" The last part was so loud, Rob had to cover his ears.
"Whoa, Cherri!" he exclaimed. "You get louder every time!Have you been practicing?"
She laughed him off. "You are such a charmer. Ahh, there she is!"
Terry came prancing into the room. The first thing that Rob saw was that her hair was back to it's normal color. "Hey! You look better!"
Terry stood there for a second, staring at him, and Rob thought he saw a confused look in her eyes. then it cleared, and she ran at him, and leaped on his lap. "Hey, Robbie!"
"Hey, that's a no-no name," he said, with a mock scowl on his face. Terry, shrank back a little, and then laughed along with Rob.
"Haha, very funny mister. Are we going somewhere?"
"Do you want to?"
"Can we mom?" Terry called over her shoulder to Cherri who was standing by the door, scribbling on the board.
"Huh? Yeah, sure, just make sure that you are back for dinner!"
"Affirmative, Mother." Terry said it in such a dispassionate tone, that Rob and Cherri stopped and stared.
"What was that?"
"Sorry, I meant, sure!" Terry grabbed Rob's hand, and dragged him out the door. "Where should we go?"
"You still haven't answered my question about your hair."
"What's wrong with it?" Terry slid into the shotgun of the car, and Rob hurried to the other side, and hopped behind the wheel.
"Oh, nothing, but it was blonde last night."
"Really? I mean, right! Mom didn't want it, so I went back this morning. Aren't we going to leave?" Rob looked at her. She was acting so strange...
He pulled away from the house, and then headed for the main shopping district. "Where are we going?" Terry asked innocently.
Rob laughed. "I was thinking the Quick Chinese..."
"Where's that?" Rob almost stopped the car.
"What is wrong with you? You have been acting so strange!"
"Hey, I'm sorry! Not a very good night's sleep, and I think that drug is acting up..."
"What drug?"
"Oh, for bipolar." Now Rob new that this was true. Terry had bipolar, but the medicine never meddled with her brain.
"I thought you were on... what was it?"
"You know I can never pronounce it... but I switched, and this one is acting weird. I might go back."
Rob was reassured, and soon they pulled up to the restaurant.
"After this, let's go to the park, ok?" Rob asked.
"Fine! Let's eat, I'm starving!"
