Red explained quietly and quickly. "Red? Is that you? Oh, and the cat! Bring him in." Moonlight said from inside the cave, clearly delighted. Red nudged Scorchclaw in the cave and guarded Scorchclaw. "Well, I'm going to get my nightly snake. Watch the prisoners with Blue." Moonlight said, walking out of the cave.

Red said quickly. She flicked her tail and Blue stepped aside and Flowerpaw and Dragonpaw burst out of the little cave. Flowerpaw saw Scorchclaw, then the fox-cat, and shrugged. "I've seen weirder things today. Like a rat give birth to a snail." Flowerpaw said, her eyes full of amusement. Dragonpaw yawned then jumped on Flowerpaw. "Ha!" He cried and got off of her. "Now, lets go." Red said, her silver eyes looking more like a cats' in the dark. She licked her pelt down so it wasn't all fluffy and she looked just like a cat. "I used to be Foxpaw, then Moonlight tricked me." Foxpaw/Red said. "Now, lets just go before Moonlight comes back!" Foxpaw/Red said, bounding out the door. The apprentices followed like its trailing after their mother.

Sharpfang came out of the bushes and said the prophecy that he had been told. "One apprentice will have a slow and painful death, the other, will have no chance at life...again."(its pretty lame but i thought of it in,like, 5 seconds) Dapplepaw pricked his ears. He was the one who would have no chance at life again! Dapplepaw made himself stand up, and he meowed darkly, "But that apprentice will kill its mentor....no matter what." Dapplepaw narrowed his eyes, and his breathing got shallow. You can do it! A voice in his head said. He jumped on Sharpfang and bit down hard on his neck. Sharpfang was powerless. Soon, he fell to the ground, dead, with Dapplepaw lying on top of him.

Dapplepaw opened his eyes saw only saw half. He. Was. Frickin'. Dieing. Sharpfang was still beneath him; he was dead.

All Dapplepaw did was groan.
