Holocaust growled, landing just to her right, staggering slightly as he landed. Shaking it off he pierced the darkness with his pale yellow stare, searching for what had created the noise.

Holocaust's eyes widened, making a move to help Sundapple only to be knocked aside by the familiar ginger pelt of Hysteria. Growling he pushed on, anger pulsing through him at being once again being put as second best to his brother. Tacita stalked along the branch, watching her brothers and the young she cat fight the badger, her claws unsheathing slowly.
-
Hysteria waited until it had left before turning on his brother, "Don't ever try that again." he growled, his green blazing as he fought to control the anger directed at Holocaust.
-
"Try and get himself killed, he can't even defend himself let alone you" Hysteria shot back, baring his teeth at Sundapple.
-
"How do you know, you never even let him have the chance to try!" Sundapple hissed, not afraid of HysteriaHolocaust watched the two before remembering how to speak again, "Leave her alone" he mewed firmly.
Hysteria looked across at his brother, growling slightly before looking back to Sundapple, "It would be the first and last time he'd try because he would be dead"
-
Hysteria rejoined his sister, not saying anything more.
Holocaust offered Sundapple a small smile, "Thanks..." he murmured, surprised she'd stood up for him.
-
Holocaust sat down quietly, looking around before down at his paws.
-
Holocaust stared ahead in silence, his social awkwardness starting to take effect about now.
-
"Uh well nowhere really" Holocaust tripped over his words nervously.
- Mousebrain! - he thought, frustrated at himself. -
Holocaust's eyes lit up at her words and he nodded happily "Definitely! Besides I think Hysteria is quite fond of you, he'd miss you too much if you didn't" he chuckled, teasing her playfully, knowing all to well his brother was the least fond of her.
-
Holocaust purred, looking back up briefly at his brother, seeing he had seemingly fallen asleep again. Tacita spread out beside him. Turning back to Sundapple he smiled, his breath hitching slightly as it always did every time he saw her.
-
Holocaust ducked his head slightly, smiling half to himself as he traced a claw across the ground lightly before something caught his attention, the tom pricking his ears as he scrambled to his paws, moving quietly but swiftly towards the undergrowth for no apparent reason. Returning several moments or so later, a rabbit hanging limply from his jaws, "For the one I made you lose..." he grinned, dropping the rabbit at her paws.
-
Sundapple looked down at the rabbit, her stomach reminding her how hungry she was "Thank you..." she said, glad for Holocaust's kindness"Anytime" Holocaust smiled, sitting down again.
-
Holocaust smiled, "Sure"
-
Holocaust lowered his head, slowly eating his portion.
-
Holocaust sat back onto his haunches, looking around unsurely.
-
Holocaust pulled away sharply, looking at her in confusion, "Why did you do that?" he asked quietly.
-
Holocaust flattened his ears at her hiss, watching her get up and leave.
-
Holocaust frowned, getting up to find her, "Sundapple?"
-
Holocaust glanced behind at the sleeping forms of his littermates and then back where Sundapple had disappeared... Closing his eyes as he made his decision he crawled through the undergrowth, leaving behind all he knew in pursuit of a she cat who for all he knew was not coming back. Exhaling heavily he searched for a scent, finding nothing. Not even the trace of a badger or prey. He growled slightly, venturing further on his pursuit. Aimlessly wandering with no real purpose, he didn't know what he would do if he found her and he didn't know what he would do if he didn't. But no adventure was really an adventure without a little doubt. Right?
