Irving Luis Yates : 16

Irving made the leisurely walk over to his locker after his sixth hour class. He sighs, school at this time of the year was really pointless. It was the end of May and exams were already over with, why was he still at school?! Nevertheless, he gets together his belongings to go to gym class. Not his favorite part of the day, but it did have some incentives. A few hot bodies to look at were a big thing, but Irving kept that to himself mostly because he had no choice. He had to be quick to shower though because any time a guy looked all hot and bothered, the other boys would make sure he would never hear the end of it. Irving was very good at concealing, no one would guess that he was gay, only shy and quiet. Funny thing is, both of those accusations were false, Irving was gay, and he wasn't quiet or shy, he just knew when the time was right to keep his mouth shut. Unfortunately, the entire school day was Irving's time to bite back snide remarks, which made him come across as a quite, shy boy. The other incentive to gym class? Lewis Williams. The boy was very handsome and had a beautiful mind to go with his appearance. Irving tended to block out all the others boys in gym class and talk to Lewis more than anyone else in the class. It was hard to admit, but yes, he may have had feelings for the young man, but those feeling could never be expressed. Those thoughts were just too wrong in the eyes of the general population and Irving hated himself for being gay some days. But being gay and getting no love was better than being gay and pretending to like girls. Intimacy with girls was just a terrifying, disgusting thing in Irving's mind.

(The site is being so dumb! Well I'm just going to assume the 'him' is Irving.)
Irving felt his sloppy dark curls flipping around crazily in the post-storm wind, but didn't bother. He never bothered with his hair. The compliments he received on his hair daily assured him that he shouldn't worry about it no matter how much his mother and sister pestered him about it. Gee, no wonder he was gay! Total chaos was the easiest way to describe his three person household. It made sense, without a husband and fatherly figure a household is due to corruption. Okay corruption would be too severe of a description, disarray was a better word for the Yates family. Irving was just glad that no family members pestered him at school not even distant family. Only his immediate family lived in San Bernardino, the rest were scattered throughout California between San Fransisco and Sacramento.
He just runs a soft hand through his healthy locks and heads across the courtyard to the gyms in his confident stride. Irving gives a kind smile and occasional wave to those he knew, but never stops to chat. He enters the gym and as if on cue, the hottest guy in the gym, Francis Markovitch lifts his shirt over his head. Irving quickly adverts his eyes the opposite direction and collides head on with him. The junior was confused at first, but then looks down to see Lewis on the floor. "Oh, it's only you. I was about to have to bite back a snide remark about ignorance." He flashes Lewis a friendly smile and offers a helping hand to the handsome teen. Damn, that was smooth. Irving thinks to himself in confidence.

(I don't mind. I understand!)
Irving just shoots Lewis with his classic sideways smile and chuckle. The out of place awkward aura of Lewis was intriguing... But the more Irving called attention to it, the more it may be obvious that he was different. He decides to keep his dignity in tact and pushes the thoughts to the back of his mind as he reaches toward the back of his gym locker, facing away from it to avoid the random, hideous stench of previous owners. As he looks away, he gets a clear shot of Markovitch changing again. Irving looks at his surrounding and decides the coast was clear because no one was looking at him as far as he knew. The teen just decides to stare at the gorgeous boy. Wow. Irving knew he was attractive, but Francis Markovitch? If looks could kill, that young man would be a notorious serial killer. He finally pulls himself out of the habitual staring as he also pulled out the gym clothes that the school provided. He sits at one of the benches and puts the clothes next to him, kicks off his shoes and starts the changing process.

Was it bad that Irving had a list of hottest boys in the gym class? However girly it was, it stayed within himself because that was embarrassing but it still existed. The top slot was obviously Francis Markovitch, but the boys mind was a sloppy joe sandwich. The second was an easy decision, but unsettling due to their moderate friendship. It was a Lewis Williams. He had it all, it seemed, looks and brains and not too bad of a body, Irving noted. However, Irving wasn't low enough to look at him naked during showers. He looked at all the other boys naked bodies, yes, but not Lewis'. Irving wasn't even sure why, maybe just to keep that awkward factor out of their friendship? Maybe. Sadly the one thing Lewis lacked was Irving. Irving wanted Lewis to have him, to put it simply. He gave it a lot of thought a lot of the time but of course wouldn't act on it. He switches from his button down to his plain white gym shirt, hoping the other boys were staring. It was weird, Irving hating being lustful for the other boys but he wanted them to look at him in his bare glory. How Irving's head was such a strange place. He then switches from his pleated shorts to his gym shorts in a faster manner because he didn't care much for people looking at him below the waist. Even if he wasn't wearing underpants he wouldn't appreciate it. Irving quickly sighs and loosens up his back before folding his clothes curiously neatly for a typical teenage boy. Who can blame him? He was the only man in his household for goodness sake! He makes sure the folds are impeccable before storing away those clothes in his locker. Again he faces away from his malodorous locker. But this time when he faces away, his eyes lock on Lewis. Part of him wants to catch eye contact so he can flash him with that charming smile again, mostly because Lewis seemed like he was in a weird mood.

Very sorry. I should have told you sooner, but I'm leaving to the coast today. I'll return on Monday.

Irving Luis Yates : 16

(I'm back! Aw thank you for the kind words, I did miss this story very much. Sorry for the unimpressive post.)
Irving had successfully finished changing without getting hot and bothered. He headed outside of the locker room and shagged his hair. The humidity had put the curly dark locks a state of chaos that Irving actually liked. Ironic to other teenagers who hate humidity and especially frizzy hair due to the humidity. He knew no normal teenager or anyone in their right mind would like his hair crazy like this and that was why he liked it. Irving wasn't out to impress anyone, mostly due to the fact that the boy was already impressive without trying. The sad part was that his impressive nature went to waste because he had no interest in girls. Many girls at the school liked him, but Irving couldn't even develop and artificial relationship with any of them. They were all just so... revolting!

"Deep in my heart, I hope you didn't put your hair like that intentionally." Irving winks at Lewis from behind him, knowing he'd see him in the mirror. Irving did that little wink to everyone. It wasn't necessarily flirtatious because of that, but he loved doing it to Lewis in particular. Oh the fantasies in his head of what the boys could be still played on in Irving's head. Maybe in a few decades being gay would be okay... Irving shook off the thought, the future was almost a disturbing thing to think about. Times were just so good as they were right now. Spending wasn't a problem, and there wasn't any rationing due to war. America was peaceful for the first time since the depression. Times were good but inevitably this blissful fifties couldn't last forever. Americans were spoiled in a sense, especially the teenagers. 'Teenager' wasn't even a term until recently. 'Teenager' was almost a negative term in a way due to all the rebellion and strange behaviors linked to Irving's peers. It appalled him honestly. Irving was a good kid, but just because of his age, he was labeled as one of the rotten 'rebels without a cause'.

Irving just sees him off with a sideways smirks and a smooth nod. Maybe it was the fact that Irving never felt true romantic desires for anyone that made him seem like such a flirt. His confidence came from his feelings of indifference towards anything romantic. He knew he was gay of course but his feelings towards Lewis were very questionable. He only thought he had feelings for the handsome young man. Irving didn't know in his heart that he liked Lewis. Besides, Irving was probably the only gay student at school. When he follows Lewis out and sees him go with his friends, he can't help but feel slightly disappointed, jealous even. Okay, maybe he did like Lewis. Or maybe he just liked his attention and being able to talk to him. Irving figured he may only have feelings for Lewis because he was handsome and he was the only boy in this class that he enjoyed talking to. Wait... isn't that all it takes to grow feelings? Irving scowls to himself silently and leans against the wall alone. He wasn't going to bother Lewis anymore.

The coach came in and judging by the brutality of his whistle, he wasn't happy. Irving scoffs, this was going to be sarcastically fun. The gym class always started this way. Everyone was put into organized rows by last name for stretches and warm ups and boring stuff in Irving's eyes. The boy was actually very fit and the only reason he stayed in this gym class was because of the ridiculous amounts of hot guys in the class. He didn't have to take gym because he was in the marching band and it counted for a P.E credit, but boy was it a good idea during second semester with all of these hotties! The rows start to take shape and the coach goes down the beginning of the "A's" to take role. Irving took his time just as everyone else did near him, he was the second to last person in the class and stood behind Lewis while Rick Zales stood behind Irving. Life was kind of easy being at the back of the alphabet especially in gym class, because by the time the coach got to Irving, he seemed to be cooled off.

Irving was whistling. As always, his disgusting bad habit always creeped into casual endeavors. He loved music, it was as simple as that. It was his passion. He hated all the other teenagers who claimed that music was everything when they couldn't even read music. Irving just didn't get along over half of his peers, it was awful. He hums a jazzy bass line riff and passes by Lewis and stops to make small talk. "Hello there." Irving does his classic wink once again.
(Sorry my muse ran away.)

hi! forgive my ignorance but what exactly is your profile pic symbolic of?

"'Cause it was fiesta and we were so gay!" Irving sings in his low voice that wasn't to pleasing to the ears as far as singing was concerned. He indirectly answers Lewis' question with a slight nod as he then went back to humming the bass line to 'South of the Border'. Those were perfect lyrics to be chosen for this moment. Sinatra clearly meant the elated, gleeful definition of gay and not homosexual, but Irving sure was clever and a tad bit talented at manipulation. Irving does his charming wink once again with a little chuckle. That song made Irving think a little about his background and boy was it a complicated, interesting and lucky one. But that was for another time to explain why Irving grew body hair so much in more abundance and thicker than a typical white boy...

Noel leans back as the show starts. He really did love Glee not only for the music but also because of the perfect gay couple in the show. Maybe that could be a conversation starter for him and Liam, maybe. Noel's liking for Liam was starting to become unfathomable and dreamlike. Action had to be taken before it was too late and Noel falls completely head over heels. He tries to hide the looks that imply dialogue or discomfort as he didn't want to start the flirting or questioning because he was secretly wondering if Liam would ever handle the situation. Could this be skinny love? No. Noel just needed Liam to speak up! Maybe the awkward facial expressions may hint something...

Hmmmm. Well Lewis will work at the record store as previously stated, maybe Irving will visit curiously often?
The final loud whistle sounded and Irving did everything he could to hold back a dreading sigh. Locker room time and that meant shower time. Keeping everything low was the key. If he kept his alertness low, he passed as one of the guys, nonchalantly showering. He would just have to hide his nervous twitches diligently.
VERY SORRY FOR THE SHORT POST. Time crunch and I didn't want to keep you waiting!

I actually do go by saxo a lot but I don't care.
Irving couldn't help but look on lustfully at Markovitch once again. He was just too fine, especially naked. Maybe the only reason why Irving looked at the other boys and not Lewis was because he actually cared for him and could see him being arguably attainable. All the other boys in the class were undeniably straight and maybe it were okay if Irving were just to assume that Lewis wasn't just because he was so perfect! Irving wanted him and either his mind was looking for the ideal, or Lewis was genuinely uncomfortable in the shower. Irving's usual confidence was noticeably shattered in the shower, but if he were to try to pretend he was comfortable, the boy would look even more suspicious. Lying wasn't one of Irving's strong points. He finishes his shower and looks back over his shoulder to Lewis enigmatically. The light brown towel he grabbed was then vigorously ruffling his hair. His hair was the only thing he honestly dried after showers, but that wasn't limited to body hair. So basically he dried his whole body. It was a blessing to have his fair complexion, but his dark abundant body hair was an almost embarrassing curse. He was easily the hairiest body in the class of minute to moderately hairy white boys. After he got dressed he left as the school bell cued and the confident Irving was back on deck. He strides past the door, awkwardly tripping over his own feet after he sees Lewis. "Please tell me you didn't see that, although I'm convinced you did." He says through a chuckle to the waiting Lewis.
Hi, normal post. Long time no see.
