There was a long silence, and on the end of the phone line, Axel smiled. "Danke Alec, thank you."

About ten minutes later a car came to a stop in front of Fridmar's home. The familiar figure of Axel hurried up to the front door an rang the bell.

(ooh can Mark like save Spencer from bullies or something? :3 I think that would be really cute~)

A little boy with soft brown hair sat in the shade of a tree, drawing in the dirt with a stick. A faint rustling came from his shoulder bag, followed by a tiny muffled squack. "Be quiet Kiki." Mark scolded softly. "Or else you'll be caught. If you're good I'll try to let you out on my shoulder for a bit." There was a nother squack as if in reply, and then the rustling stopped.
(yup, he brought his bird with him XD)

Axel gave a weak smile as greeting, his eyes obviously red from crying. "How...how is he?" He said walking, his eyes on the floor, not adressing anyone in particular. "He's much more stable now." Dr. Winter replied. "After some rest he should be fine in the meantime. But as for the long hall he is probably going to need another surgery, once he recovers." He stood up, putting his equipment away. "I'll work on getting that set up for him. Untill then keep a close eye on him, make sure he gets plenty of water, and don't let him over exert himself." With that Dr. Winter said his goobyes and made his way out the door.

As soon as he was gone Axel went to his brother's side and knelt down beside him. He reached out with a shakey hand and took hold of Virus's pale hand. He held it between his larger hands, and gently laid it against his cheek, closing his eyes and swallowing with the strain of pent up emotions. He began murmuring to Virus in German, one line in particular showing up repeatedly.
"Es tut mir leid."

Please wake up, little brother. Please be okay. I'm so sorry. These thoughts echoed in Axel's head, things that he wanted to scream out. His eyes were tightly shut with the effort to hold back tears, and he was so deep in worry that he failed to notice it when the hand he was holding slightly squeezed him back.
"Axel..."
The soft voice made Axel's moist eyes open wide, and from his throught came a sound that wsa a mix between a gasp and a cry. Virus's deep eyes were open and were looking up at him, a soft smile on the boy's lips. "V-Virus-!" Axel managed to choke out, before jolting forward and bulling his brother into a tight hug. "I...I was so scared!" Axel said, voice quivering. "Me too..." Virus said quietly, still rather limp despite having woken up. "I thought...that I wouldn't get to see you again, and make it up to you...for pushing you away like I did....I'm sorry..."
"Mund halten, Dummkopf!" Axel said forcfully, holding his brother's head against his chest. "You're not allowed to apologize. I'm the one who should be begging for forgivness."
"but-"
"Don't talk back to your elder, Virus." Axel cut him off with a slightlty crooked smile. Virus looked suprised then returned the smile. A minute later the boy's attention tunred to the figure standing off aways. "Alec..." He said. Axel understood and released his brother, helping him to his feet. Virus was unstead at first but with determination he made his way over to his friend, and carefully took hold of Alec's hand.

Yuki murmured as he was set onto the bed, unhappy the he wasn't close to the person anymore. Disguntled, he reached out blindly, trying to find the one who'd carried him.

I know, right? In second and third grade we hade a cockatoo for a class pet named Kiki :3 He said hello alot~

Mark was about to close his eyes and rest for a bit, when he noticfed a slight commotion at the sand box. Well I'll never get a nap if that keeps up...I guess I'll go check it out. With that he got to his feet and started twards the sand box.

Virus felt his face heat up as he was pulled into Alec's arms. After a moment he wrapped his arms around the taller boy's shoulders, a soft smile on his face. "Quit acting stupid, Alec." He said in a comforting tone. "We've both lived a rather rough life. We've both gotten drunk, we've both tried smoking, we've both done things that we later regretted. If anything its my own fault for making those choices. I chose to come to the party, and if I had another chance I would probably make the same choice." He was silent for a moment, then said in a quiet murmur, "And besides, if I hadn't gone to that party...I would have never have told you that I loved you..."

Virus: Shut the hell up =_=

"I'd rather die then leave you alone." Virus said vhemenently, pulling away to look Alec in the face, his eyes bright with determination. "You're my best friend, you've always been there for me! Even though I'm a wimp and annoying you've never left my side." Virus cupped Alec's face with his hands so that he couldn't look away." I always felt so useless when I was little, like I could never pay you back for all you did for me. The small injuries I got...they were all worth it if it ment I could stay beside you." He smiled shakily, then, stealing his courage, he quickly pulled Alec close and kissed him feircly, clinging to the other boy so he couldn't escape.

Axel returned Alec's gaze, his face expressionless. Despite this his eyes clearly spoke for him. "Just because I've promised not to interfere, doesn't mean that I fully accept you yet." Then he turned away, accidently bumping into Fridmar in the process. Their eyes met, and held eachothers gaze for a minute. A silent conversation seems to pass between their eyes, until Axel broke contact and said, "I suppose I aught to get going now. I'll need to contact my parents."
"Why don't you stay a little longer?" Fridmar said stopping Axel in his tracks with a hand on his shoulder. "At least for a day. Virus would probably like to have more time to talk to you." Again they made eye contact, and a hidden message seemed to pass between the two. After a moment Axel gave a small nod and said, "Alright, if that is what he wants."

Virus's face was almost as red as it had been when Alec first kissed him. It had taken a lot of courage to kiss Alec like he did. And not that he'd done it, he wasn't sure what to do next. Its not like he'd ever really kissed anyone before, except for one girl in, like, middle school, and that didn't count. Should they keep going, or should he pull away now? After all, Axel and Fridmar were in the room, right?
(*cough* not anymore *cough*)

(*le gasp* STRIPPING TIME! *shot*)

Yuki was barely aware or what was going on, but still his hand shifted and he fumbled to help with the buttons and managed to slip the coat off, revealing the thin sweater he wore underneath. He had woken up a little more and by now faintly recognized who Akuto was.

Virus flinched when Alec snapped him, and his face fell. "I-I'm sorry, I went too far..." He mumbled quickly, stepping away and turning his face away so that Alec couldn't see his face. His eyes stung and his cheeks burned with embarrassment. "I get it. I'm just being an impulsive brat like always." He wanted to disappear somewhere for doing something so stupid, and in front of my brother, too! God I'm a f*cking idiot!

lol I know. Probably just enough to see his cute bod~ ^w^ *shotshotshotshot*

"I-I got it..." Yuki said with a slight nod. He undid his pants and with some effort managed to tug them off. He then slipped on the pair of shorts, and once he was done sat there in awkward silence.

Virus blushed, caught off guard a little. A moment later he relaxed and kissed Alec back. He leaned against the other boy slightly and moved his hands and twined his fingers with Alec's.

"I won't let him." Virus murmured his a smile, slightly breathless with a heated look in his eyes. "I think I almost died today, and right now I just want to be as close to you as I can." With that he tugged Alec back to him and reconnected their lips, wrapping hsi arms around the oloder boy's shoulders.
(DAMMIT VIRUS QUIT BEING SUCH A TURN ON!)

wait...is it you're birthday today? o.o

Yuki noticed Akuto's smile. "W-what are you smiling about...?" Me mumbled with his cheeks pink, a slight scowl on his face.

Virus blushed and in turn clung tightly with his arms around Alec's neck. The temperature of the air seemed to rise sharply. At this point, even if Alec walked in Virus wasn't sure he'd care. All that matter right now was the wonderful man holding onto him, the person who owned his heart. (D'aaaaw)

Yuki's cheeks darkened and he turned away shyly. "Y-Yeah, yeah, I get that alot..." he muttered, trying to look annoyed and failing horribly.
