The brown tabby walked along the forest floor. He yawned, still sleepy after the long night. He tasted the air, trying to pick up any scents. It had rained during the night, making it very difficult to discover any traces of his sister. Lunian sighed.
Suddenly he heard a branch crack above his head. He flinched and looked up. "Who's there?!" he shouted. His eyes flicked back and forth and he hissed nervously.
-
Blithepaw looked up at the old she-cat, but Deltapaw was busy trying to flick mud out of her claws. He gave Deltapaw a small shove and she set her pale blue glare on Leafeye. "Hey, I'm Blithepaw," the ThunderClan apprentice greeted, his green eyes alight with friendliness. His ShadowClan friend said nothing and continued to scan Leafeye like she was prey.
"Deltapaw," he hissed in her ear.
"Hello," said Deltapaw in a soft growl, and turned away. Blithepaw sighed, and gave his white chest a lick to hide his embarrassment for his friend.
"Sorry about Deltapaw, she's just not feeling well tonight," he excused her, grinning apologetically. "What's your name?"

"It's alright, I hope she has not taken ill though?" she said worriedly. "My name is Leafeye. But I think Misteye would suit me better" Leafeye said and chuckled. "My eyes don't work as well as they used to. Are you enjoying the gathering?" she said and smiled towards the two younger cats.

The RiverClan she-cat wrapped her tail around her shivered. She hated it here, she hated the wind, she hated the open sky, but most of all she hated BloodClan for driving the clan out of their territory. She was getting older and no longer had the mental strength to cope with the current events. She closed her eyes and dreamed of the life she had never had. A life with glory, bravery, and most of all, a life with kits. She was alone in the world, neither friends or family existed to support her in these difficult times.
-
He crouched and glared suspiciously at the she-cat. He was a nervous and small tom that preferred running away or talking his way out over fighting. "Who are you?" he hissed, trying his best to sound menacing instead of scared.
ooc: Sure, Slark :)

Srivian prowled along the path. The large, old tom was following the scent of a she-cat. He had been very bored when he first caught the scent, and he immediately got curious what she was doing on her own. The tom was large, well-fed and strong. If it wasn't for his long, muddy and tangled fur, he would have been handsome. The scent grew stronger as he was starting to catch up with the other cat. Srivian grinned. Suddenly he spotted her ahead of him. He sprinted the last distance and slowed down next to her. "You shouldn't be out here on your own at your age" he said with a slight smirk.
-
Deltapaw gave Blithepaw an 'I am not amused' look, but obediently kept her head down when she saw the opportunity to stay out of the conversation. "I'm sure she'll be fine," Blithepaw said politely, looking back at Leafeye. "If names were meant to suit us, Deltapaw would probably be Grumpypaw," he added humorously, trying to cheer Deltapaw up, even though the black she-cat did not appreciate such jokes. She gave a forced smile, and faked a cough. "Oh yes," Blithepaw purred on. "This is my sixth time at a gathering, but it's always fascinating to learn about other clans. There are always new ones."
Leafeye smiled towards Deltapaw before looking back at Blithepaw. "I'm sure she has her reasons" she meowed softly. "Yes, there are a lot of clans these days. There used to much fewer when I was an apprentice. Much easier to keep track of". She licked her paws a few times, trying to get some of the dirt off that she had gotten from travelling to the gathering. "How is your training coming along? Do you know when you are to be made warriors?" she said and tilted her head a little.
-
He sat down in front of her before starting to wash himself. "My name is Srivian. And don't worry, I won't hurt you. I have been following you for quite a while now and would have done so much earlier if I wanted to". The washing was pretty much useless, he was far too dirty. The tom scratched himself behind the ear instead, his whole body was itching.
-
She opened her eyes and looked at the cat next to her. Leafeye nodded before meowing; "They have ruined my life. I will never forgive them ..." she said with a sigh. She admired the she-cats beautiful pelt and strong muscles. "A pretty cat" Leafeye thought with a sting of envy. She remembered the days when she used to be pretty and strong. Days when she was a good hunter, a great hunter really. She shook her head to try to clear her thoughts before turning back towards her company. "What's your name?" she asked.
-
Srivian yawned before answering. "The truth is that I was really, really bored" he said and stared into her eyes with a smirk. "Now, young one. What are you doing out here on your own?".
-
Blithepaw listened to the older cat respectfully, and hesitated when she mentioned the training. "Training's coming on nicely," he replied, wondering what to say. The tabby tom was 15 moons old, which was way past the normal apprentice age. "I'm not sure when mine will be, but Deltapaw will be a fine warrior in about two moons time." He turned to smile at his ShadowClan friend, who hesitantly smiled back. Always the sociable one, as Deltapaw thought of him. Mr Nice Guy with the irresistible smile. It was hard not to smile back when he did, which was something Deltapaw disliked, but the tom was modest and understanding enough for her to call him a friend. "So, what was it like in your day?" Blithepaw asked.
She grinned towards Deltapaw. "That's great, Deltapaw! I'm sure you will make a great warrior." Leafeye turned back towards Blithepaw with a nod. "I'm sure they will make you a warrior soon as well". The old she-cat smiled at the question and her mind drifted off for a moment, thinking of her youth. "There where much fewer cats in the gatherings, I knew most of them by name. Bearstar had just been made leader of RiverClan and I was known as a great hunter back then. I could sneak up on just about anything. Exciting times." she said with a large grin.

PREFERABLY RIVERCLAN
-----Background-----
(picture in my signature)
Leafeye is an older she-cat born and raised in RiverClan. She is a spotted tabby with green eyes and a great hunter. She has never been much of a fighter though. Leafeye has gone through most of her life dreaming of kits but never managing to find the right mate. Now it will soon be time to join the elders but before that she has one final goal in life, to give birth. She is a very loyal cat and has dedicated her life to RiverClan, therefor I would prefer if the tom was also RiverClan but this is not a must. After raising this litter she will retire and become an elder as her eyesight is failing, affecting her hunting ability greatly.
-----IC post-----
Leafeye rested on top of a rock near the river. She had wanted to get away from camp for a while, she needed time to think. She enjoyed the clear skies of the day, the sun was warming her for once. She was sick and tired of the long leaf-bare and couldn't wait for new-leaf. She started washing her self, paying little attention to what was going on around her.

The sand cat wandered through the forest, following the small river. She was a loner, and had already eaten, so now she was simply exploring. Her ears flicked back and forth as she suddenly heard the meows of kits. She pointed her ears and tasted the air for any scents. Yes, there were definitely kits up ahead. She quickened her pace until she spotted them. "Hi...!" she called out with a smile.
-
"I'm Lunian, my name means nothing but I am a lot more than that" he said as he relaxed a little. "If you're not a kittypet, what where you doing in twolegplace? the tabby tom asked and tilted his head slightly.
-
Marigold let out a small laugh at the kits. They could do nothing to harm her, she was bigger than the tree of them together. "What are you doing out here? You should be with your mother" she said worriedly.
-
The she-cat nodded, understanding Fovergone's pain. "I'm Leafeye" she said before tilting her head with a frown as she hears the other cat's name. "Tell me. If you want to, of course" she meowed.
-
OOC: I think I will go with Rowanclaw, with the two being practically the same age it would feel the most natural!
Leafeye nodded towards the tom, she knew who he was but had never really talked much to him. "Well met, Rowanclaw!" she meowed with a slight grin. "How are you this fine day?".
-
The tom frowned. "What for?" he meowed, all sorts of dark thoughts racing through his mind as he tried to think of what might have happened.
