The tom walked across the dark forest floor. The sun had set hours ago and the sky was filled with clouds, making it almost pitch-black. But his eyes were perfectly adapted to this, and he was used to hunting in the dark. This time Lunian was not hunting for prey though, he was following the scent of his sister Leanne. He had not seen Leanne for many moons and he missed her a lot. He thought of his childhood, more than 20 moons ago. He also thought of his parents, especially his father which had played a major role in the kits upbringing.

His paws were starting to ache and he decided it was time to rest. He looked around for a while before finding the perfect place, an old hedgehog den among the roots of a large spruce. Nothing more than a pile of leaves and twigs with a tunnel in the middle, it would hide him from larger predators while he slept. He crawled inside, for once being happy that he was a smaller cat. Not small enough though, as his tail was left outside. The den was warm and cozy but he could still feel a slight stench of hedgehog dung. "This is really strange, what am I doing?" he thought to himself before drifting off to sleep.

Leafeye sat at the edge of the WindClan camp, overlooking the various activities. She held her head low and the fur on her back stood straight up. She hated it here, she hated the wind, she hated the too-fast rabbits, and she hated BloodClan. Her whole life had been turned upside down, she knew nothing of this land. The spotted tabby was getting older, she could feel it her paws. She was too tired, both mentally and physically, to cope with the current events.

The once white she-cat watched the tom intensively. She had followed for quite a while, he did not seem to notice her in his exhausted state. She crouched among some reeds by the pond and watch him, waiting to see if the other cat would actually manage to catch something. Her muddy, tangled fur made her skin itch but she focused and managed to stay perfectly still.

A ThunderClan apprentice named Blithepaw padded into the crowd. He was almost fifteen moons, but had rejected his warrior ceremony. Though everyone already regarded him as a warrior, he still stuck with apprentice duties and did what apprentices do. The light brown tabby cast his green eyes about for someone to talk to. Upon seeing him, Deltapaw waved, and looked back at the rock. The two apprentices were good friends, and generally understood each other, though Blithepaw was more loyal to his Clan and Deltapaw was more loyal to her friends.

Leafeye padded towards the apprentice nearby. His ThunderClan scent reached her immediately. She was excited to talk to someone from another clan, RiverClan was so depressing nowadays, with their territory being burned down forcing them to live with WindClan. "Well met" she meowed with a sigh as she sat down next to the tabby. She was a bitter old she-cat. She was getting older, had never had kits and her only apprentice ran away. Leafeye felt like a failure to the clan.

Rabbitpaw, a RiverClan apprentice soon padded in, her paws trembling. The young she-cat was nervous, for this was her first Gathering. Her tail tip kept on twitching, and butterflies kept fluttering inside her chest. Rabbitpaw took a breath, and she padded under a tree, and sat down, curling her tail over her paws. It was still twitching madly, possibly due to anxiety from all of the cats.

"Don't be so nervous, young one. Try to make some friends, enjoy yourself!" the old she-cat meowed towards the trembling apprentice and nodded towards the other cats. "There are lots of other apprentice here, I'm sure it's the first time for many of them as well".

(Please write more than just one sentence. This is advanced roleplaying, remember?)

Leanne growled towards the noisy cat that had fallen from a tree. "What are they doing?" she thought to herself. Without revealing herself she stayed put, waiting to see what was going to happen.

why do you want him?: I'm looking for a challenge and something out of the ordinary and he being mute really sparked my interest. I also enjoy roleplaying kits and how they grow up and what experienced shape them into adults. I am not sure I want to buy telepathy for him, I think it would be a really interesting RP opportunity to communicate with other cats only using body language.

rp sample[with or without kit/ quoted or not]:

plots?: Not sure yet, will see what comes up once I start roleplaying ;D

Srivian prowled through the forest. As his tangled fur was covered in mud as usual he barely noticed the rain pouring down on him. Suddenly he stopped, he had heard something. The most horrible sound there ever was, a dying cat. The old tom sniffed the air but it was difficult to pinpoint any particular scent. His eyes went wide in surprise, in front of him ran a tiny kit. It looked desperate and frightened and a loud growl could be heard not far away. Srivian acted quickly, rushing forward towards the kit before grabbing it by the scruff. "Be quite and do as I say!" he hissed between his teeth. He knew of an abandoned fox den close by and he sprinted towards it. They made it inside quickly enough to avoid discovery, and their scents would be covered by the rain. Or at least Srivian hoped it would. He placed the kit on the soft ground inside the den and gave it a few licks to warm it. "Now, what is going on little one. Explain" he meowed softly.

He woke up by the sound of a screeching owl. It was a cold and bright morning as Lunian crawled out of his hiding place. The tom yawned and stretched his limbs while watching to suns rays across the forest floor. It was beautiful, and Lunian felt more hopeful than the night before. "I bet I will find her today" he thought with a smile.
