Icefang asked Ashpaw 'Shall we go hunting and I can show you the territory?'. 'Sure!' Ashpaw mewed.

Then Ashpaw and Icefang padded off.

They returned a while later laden with fresh-kill.

An apprentice padded over to him. 'Hi I'm Branchpaw' he mewed. 'You fought great in the battle!'

'Thanks!' Ashpaw mewed. 'Want to have some fresh kill with me and Reedpaw?'

'That sounds great!' Ashpaw said and they grabbed some fresh kill and padded off.

The sun was setting.

Meanwhile, a cat from no clan watched and looked at the kits hungrily. 'Later...' She whispered to herself and silently ran off.

The clan began to settle down to sleep, the danger ahead unknown.....
