Ashpaw, knowing he could'nt just sit about like a kit, ran out to help Songclan, even though he was injured.

Shadowstar?' hmmm.... Gasping, he realised he was running into the nursery!

There was a terrified squeal from the nursery as Ashpaw darted in, following Shadowstar.

Ashpaw meowed to Heartstar 'He only has two lives left, so if we kill him once he may retreat!'

Ashpaw quickley jumped on shadowstar, clwing at his back

Shadowstar was huge and strong and shoow them both of launching Ashpaw into the wall

Ashpaw ran at Shadowstar, slid under his legs and clawed at his belly.

Shadowstar yowled as both cats raked him with sharp claws, falling to the ground. He had lost a life

Ashpaw yowled among the noise 'While hes dead lets help the others!'

But shadowstar was'nt getting up.

He must have lied and that must've been his LAST LIFE!

Just then the deputy stripepelt ran in. seeing his leader dead he yowled 'GorseClan RETREAT!'

but before he left he grabbed a kit and leapt off!

'NO!' The queen cried but stripepelt was long gone...

Suddenly the camp was silent, noone saying a word
