OOC: Let's say Songstar lost a life, and needed a couple days to recover. And yeah, with the mates, you should shuffle stuff up, to make it interesting. Anyways, how about a rule for medicine cat- mates: All medicine cats must train a cat to fill in for them while they have kits? (Who would help a medicine cat give birth?)
IC: Songstar lay motionless, her eyes blank, as her other life drained away. She came back, and looked up at Ferndrop weakly.

Songstar tried getting up, but fell down. Great StarClan, this is embarrassing. I'm the Clan leader, so I shouldn't be so weak...

Songstar forced herself up, staggering. She glared at the cats around her, unhappy that the fox had beaten her so easily. She hadn't noticed that it died yet, so she was surprised to see it dead. "How about we eat it?" she meowed, flicking her tail at its crumpled body.

"Nice!" Sizzlepaw meowed. "No one will see it there!"

Songstar nodded. She waited for the juniper berries to be given, not knowing what they were used for, but knowing they probably tasted bad.

Songstar lapped them up, her nose wrinkling when she got a taste. She forced herself to eat them. She hoped it was worth it, to get her wounds healed up.

Songstar stood up, ignoring the pain in her neck, and grabbed the fox too.

Songstar thought. "Sure, but they will make me tired... I'll take them anyways."

Redleaf glanced at the kit, laughing quietly to herself as he bumped into the tree. "Whoa there! Watch where you're going!"

Songstar bounded after the medicine cat, scrunching up her face as the smell of all the herbs filled her nose.

Songscratch of StrikeClan glanced over at her clan's medicine cat, and padded further into the clearing, not wanting to be around so many cats.

IC: Songstar shook her head for both questions, and fell asleep in a nest. -
Sapphire still clawed at other cats, wanting desperately to prove herself to Red. She raked her claws and bit necks, killing several cats but getting wounds herself.
