Lunapaw stepped back and focused, then reared up as mightily as her small stature allowed, letting her upper body swing forward while she swung one heavy paw then the other. As her paws landed on the earth, she crouched low, swinging around to send dust up with her tail into her invisible enemy's face. Then she spun around again and kicked from the ground in a mighty leap to land heavily sending dust up around her. Lunapaw looked to her mentor, panting.

Lunapaw tilted her head slightly at her mentor. "I wasnt allowed to climb trees much but i can try." she padded to the nearest tree and looked up into it, eyes studying it from the top down. After a long moment, she crouched down, wiggling her hindquarters, then leaped as high as she could, which wasnt far. Lunapaw dug her claws in, but started sliding down. Her ears drew back as she desparately tried to hold on.
-
Lunapaw nodded and tried again, jumping with all her might and digging her claws in as hard as she could. This time she stuck fast and looked down behind her at her mentor, then she turned back and dislodged one paw carefully, lifting inlt above her head and catching it fast, following it up with her other paws. Slowly, she made he way up the tree and onto the lowest hanging branch, looking down at Blueheart with triumph in her eyes.
-
Lunapaw nodded and started down the tree but going down forward made her slide. Luckily, she slid around and climbed the rest of the way down backwards. "Now what, Blueheart?" she faced her mentor waggling her tail excitedly.
-
"Can i practice on you?"
-
Lunapaw took a fighting stance staring at Blueheart with fire in her orange eyes. Her tail twitched lightly as she focused. After a long moment, she crouched down and shot up in one fluid movement, over her mentors head into the tree. Lunapaw jumped up the tree a bit then turned and dropped on Bluehearts back before she could turn around, pushing both paws between Bluehearts shoulderblades to keep her nose in the dirt. "Like that Blueheart?"
-
Lunapaw purred with satisfaction, but jumped off swiftly from her mentors back. "Thats great fun Blueheart, teach ne more!"
-
Lunapaw twitched her tail and nodded. "Im ready Blueheart!"
-
Lunapaw looked into Bluehearts eyes and saw seriousness. "Yes Blueheart."
-
Lunapaw nodded and stepped back, concentrating. She flung her back legs out suddenly, then swiftly switched to swing her front legs forcefully. Lunapaw drew back her ears, staring at her invisiblw opponents, then repeated her actions, having felt it wast quite right the first time. Then she turnes and did it a third time for good measure. "Like that, Blueheart?" She was panting slightly, holding her fighting stance.
-
Lunapaw nodded and waggled her tail happily. "Am i ready to become a warrior, Blueheart?"
-
Lunapaw quivered with excitement and purred at her mentor. "Im ready to learn everything you have to teach me, Blueheart!"
-
(ooc: my phone is broken so i wont be able to get on as much until i can get a new one... ill come to the library as often as i can to check up here though)

Lunapaw bounced with excitement and bounded off through the hollow, heading straight for the river. She loved fishing. She headed for the pool just below the stepping stones and peered intently into the water, one paw raised just slightly, waiting.
-
Lunapaw blinked and shifted her position, moving her shadow from over the water. After a short while, she saw a flash and shot her paw in lightning fast, pulling out a carp and giving it a quick killing bite. "There's one for me. Are you going to hunt too Blueheart?" Lunapaw blinked at her mentor, then turned back to the river, holding dead still her paw outstretched.
-
Lunapaw let out a mrrow of amusement as she scooped out another fish onto her pile. "Always feed the clan first..." she muttered to herself as she concentrated again on the water. This time, a large pike swam up. Lunapaw underestimated its size and reached out to grab it, but it was too big and her claws got snagged in its skin. It started to haul her in. "Blueheart, help!"
-
After a few long moments, the fish began to tire and Lunapaw struggled with it out of the water with Blueheart's help and gave it the killing bite. "That's a big one, how are we ever going to get it back to camp?" Lunapaw looked at her mentor wide eyed, seeming to have forgotten she had almost just drowned.
-
Lunapaw blinked at her mentor. "We can drag it, but first..." she pawed over to a nearby fern and bit skillfully through a long stem, pulling it back and lining it up next to the pike. "We can carry it on that so it doesn't get too dirty."
-
Lunapaw purred back and dug her claws into the fish from the opposite side to pull the pike while Blueheart pushed it. After a tough heave and pull, they finally got it on and started dragging it back to camp. "Do you think we should give it to the elders or the queens and kits, Blueheart?"
-
Lunapaw nodded and pushed from behind. After a long haul, they finally got it back to camp. "Phew, that's a big one!"
