-
Silver was crouched behind a row of thick ferns. She had scented strange cats for a while now and curiosity had gotten the better of her. Her sister Robin, had fallen asleep and snoring like a monster when she left.
-
Robin snapped her eyes open, something was lurking about and creating a huge racket. Robin snarled in frustration before leaping from her resting spot, expecting to see Silver thrashing around in her sleep. Instead, a rabbit was burrowing into some twoleg rubbish and her sister was nowhere to be seen.
Robin tasted the air, her sister's scent was still fresh and she had decided to put her tracking skills to the test.
-
Robin tilted her head in confusion. As the scent of Silver grew stronger, the smell of other cats were more apparent too. Searching the surroundings carefully, Robin's eye caught a tuft of silver fur poking out from some ferns.
"Hey, Silver!" She mewed loudly.
The ferns shook violently as a silver cat sprung out.
"Don't scare me like that," Silver hissed, allowing her fur to lie flat once more.
Robin looked around awkwardly. "What are you doing here?"
The silver tabby looked around before signalling to go further away from the area with her tail. Robin padded along beside her untill Silver stopped.
"There are these strange cats around here and they've been hanging about for at least a moon."
-
Silverwind snapped her eyes open, a loud howling echoed in the RiverClan camp and it didn't sound too welcoming. She quickly scrabbled onto her feet and cautiously looked outside of the warriors den.
-
Silverwind took a frightened step back, her eyes wide with fear before composing herself. She nodded at the tom in understanding and tasted the air, only to be repulsed by the stench of wolf drifting into the den.
-
Silverwind unsheathed her claws before running at a wolf who had a bloodthirsty look in it's eyes.
"Get out of our camp," she snarled, swiping at it's muzzle.
-
Silverwind dodged a clumsy lunge swiftly before knocking the wolf off balance and counter-attacking by raking her claws along the underbelly of a wolf.
-
Silverwind cringed inwardly as she tasted warm blood on her tongue. She glanced around and let out a semi-relieved sigh. Most of the wolves were injured but some where still going strong.
"These mangepelts never stood a chance against RiverClan!" She mewed smugly before clawing at one of the intruders.
-
Silverwind swiftly pounced onto a wolf's back and dug her claws into it's flesh. It howled loudly in pain before dropping to the ground. The silver tabby jumped off as it went to roll over.
-
Silverwind glanced up from the river in confusion and curiosity. Something was happening further down as several fish came darting into her waiting paws. She steadily walked downstream to see Foxtail in hot pursuit of two strange cats.
"What are they doing," She hissed as she spotted a fish clamped in the jaws of a non-clan cat.
-
Silverwind woke up with a jolt. A shaft of moonbeam filtered in through the den wall and she saw Timesoul struggling in her nest. The cat looked disturbed.
"Timesoul?" she whispered worriedly, scared for her clanmate and friend. "Are you okay?"
-
Silverwind smiled lightly. "It's fine," she mewed, "As long as you're okay,"
-
Silverwind glanced up at Mistypaw's hiss, she tasted the air and almost instantly scented the strange cat lurking about.
"I wonder what they're doing here," she muttered.

Silverwind stood up and padded towards the kit.
"Who are you and what are you doing in RiverClan territory?" She mewed curiously.
