Leaf burr stepped out of the bushes, and looked around "oh, my. I'm so, so sorry. I didn't realize I had crossed the border, please don't tell Shadow star, or Hawk star. Please!" she begged

"Don't be sorry, I'm happy for you. Congrats" she said, nudging her apprentice "you get the cobweb, you're pregnant and shouldn't get stung"

Hopepaw cried behind the apprentice den. The news had just reached her: her mentor was dead. Why StarClan? she screamed in her head that's my mom, my mentor, my father, my sister, Darkpaw... oh Darkpaw! she cried harder. Darkpaw, her lost love, had died in a badger attack and was in StarClan.

Cricketpaw ran as fast as she could to catch up to the patrol. Her white fur and small size made her look like a rabbit hopping along the forest floor. She soon scented a pigeon, huge by the smell of it! she thought, lengthening her stride until she was a fox length away. She had been right, it was about the size of three mice. With a humongous leap, teeth met fur, claws met flesh, and she had a limp pigeon body in her jaws.

"Fine, just get out and stay out" Badger paw growled, thinking of Rose thorn what if this cat had hurt her and the kits?

Iris snuggled up to her father's leg, while Daisy snuggled up to her

Darkness' spirit came to his mind "I love you, Ares... and I always will" it whispered, then was gone

IC: "Come on, Lily" Becky whinnied, galloping over. The brown arabian stopped beside the two females "let's get back" though his didn't meet Lily's eyes

Suddenly, a shimmering form appeared around the kits. Darkness looked at her pitch black paws, which were getting even more solid by the moment. She felt pain in her cuts again, unlike when she had been dead. I'm back she realized. Darkness jumped up and started licking her mate's pelt, "Ares... oh, Ares. Ares, Ares I'm back!"

Iris felt her mother's prescence and squeaked happily, as did Blood. But Daisy stood on the margins of camp, scowling.

IC: He finally noticed Sunshine, "who are you and why are you here?" he neighed

She purred, then whipped around to face Fangs "I expect my position back" she growled, "and you may keep the pup. But no more outsiders. Of any kind, fox, wolf, nothing, not even cat"

"Fine, but don't come near my herd. Or else" he turned and trotted off, back to the rest of the horses in the herd
