If you'd like some free FeralFront memorabilia to look back on fondly, see this thread from Dynamo (if this message is still here, we still have memorabilia): https://feralfront.com/thread/2669184-free-feralfront-memorabilia/.

    Thread followed. "Why would this be diseased or whatever any more than any other prey? It's food." She began to rip into the large carcass. One more thing that would feed the clan well, and that they wouldn't have to hunt for.

    Thread figured it wasn't worth fighting over, but she looked at Acorn. She'd just talk to her about it. "Acornfoot, I think the badger's fine to eat. It'll feed the entire Clan or close to it."

    Thread, wanting to make herself useful, brought a rabbit back to the freshkill pile. She'd perfected her hunting skills to a tee, and though she'd never be a powerful fighter, she was also unlikely to ever go hungry.

    And right now, she was in heat, and it was pretty bad. She couldn't stop thinking about toms, and mating. Her first heat had barely been anything; it had not been in earnest the way this was.

    She headed off again, to seek out whom and what she could. She knew she would be back.

    ooc: I'm taking Thread out of this...thread for a bit. She'll be back. She isn't abandoning the clan, probably just going to find a mate. It's just that this moves pretty quickly for me and she isn't fitting into the current plots {her main plot is with her mother, whose player posts infrequently}, so this will give me a bit of a break. :) If you want to plot with her, or have an in-clan tom whom she would mate with, feel free to let me know, but don't PM me on this account as I don't ever log into my subs. ^_^ Your best bet is probably to just reply on this thread with any plans. If nothing else, she will reappear in this thread, regardless.

    {{Yes--Thread is ready to mate and have kits. She's gone off to find a mate! If anyone here has a tom they want a mate for, I'm more than happy to pair her up!}}

    ic: Thread wandered farther, and past the border.

    ooc: If you want :) I'll go first for already-made characters though, just cause. But if that happens I'd be glad to give you a kit.

    ic: Thread stopped to scratch an itch, then moved on.

    Thread noticed a cat up ahead. Hm, so soon? She was on her guard. If any tom thought he was going to just have his way with her regardless just because she was in season, he'd get a face full of claws as his answer.

    She tried to look casual, and, tail slightly lower than the line of her back, she started to saunter on by. But she did look at him a few times, and slowed down. He was cute.

    It made her suddenly more aware of how she must look--small, thin, a uniform dark grey. Nothing ugly, but nor was she particularly impressive looking--whatever that really meant. She'd never gained much attention in the arena of her own home clan so she imagined she didn't make a strong impression.

    And just how do you say hi to a stranger?

    He stopped, and looked at her again. He stopped staring, looking ahead. He did one more glance. He forgot where he was, who he was, or even his name. He just kept looking at the she-cat.

    Thread finally started to smile. Then she giggled. "Hi."

    "So...um...well, I'm Thread, nice to meet you." She nodded her head. She almost added what Clan she was from, but she remembered what had happened with Reflectionclan. If he was from some clan that had something against hers, it wouldn't go over well. It might even start another war.

    "Well, hi Blaze." Thread decided to learn a little more. He did have her curious. "I...um.." she had to think a minute though. Being in heat with a cute tom right there, was a bit distracting. "Are you from a Clan, or a loner?"

    "I'd hate to be lonely. Well, you can hang out here if you like." Thread purred. She liked him--he seemed friendly and honest. And without issues. By the gods, she had had it up to here with people's issues.
