"I think this is the last one!" Owlstar claimed. Owlstar gave one, last big push, and one last kit fell into the nest.

Owlstar lay there, out of breath. She was tired from all the work. But she was happy. She had her first kits. She looked at the kits and licked each of them. Their father would be so proud, Owlstar thought.

Owlstar looked up at Falconpelt. "I saw you leave with Lightningtail. You should go find him."

Owlstar looked at her three kits, Redkit, Amberkit, and Leopardkit. Amberkit and Leopardkit are females and Redkit is a male.

Owlstar rubbed her eyes with a paw and blinked.
