Owlstar padded out of the nursery with a swollen belly. "what's going on?" she demanded

IC: "My littermate. But I thought he was dead." Swift said.

Swift picked up her head and looked at the kit. "Are you okay?"

"Hello, Smokepaw." Owlstar greeted

"In the nursery." Swift mewed

"How are you today?" she asked

Owlstar padded out of her den with Skypaw flying behind her. "What kind of training are we going to do today, Owlstar?" he asked. Owlstar looked up at the apprentice. "Fighting skills and hunting." she replied.

Owlstar's ears pricked up. "What's the problem?"

Owlstar woke up in the middle of the night. She streched her wings out and decided to go hunting.

Owlstar returned to the camp with an eagle and a couple voles and dropped them into the fresh-kill pile, taking a plumb vole for herself.

Owlstar suddenly tensed up. She let a hiss of pain. She belly was in so much pain. I'm kitting! she thought. "Help!" she shrieked.

"help..." her voice weakened from pain.

Owlstar slowly waddled into the nursery. "Please... help" she could barley talk with all her pain.

Owlstar nodded. "Yes, and it hurts!" she said

"I've seen many births before. I think I might know." Owlstar said and lay down in a nest
