"Birchshadow is missing." Owlstar replied.

Eagletalon purred. "Your so charming. Raising a kit all on your own."

Owlstar sat inside her den, listening. She was mad. Very mad. She hissed and flew into the tallest tree she could find. She began to cry, and felt something move. "Fox-dung," she mewed and started to cry.

Owlstar looked up at the sky. "StarClan, tell Reedtail the news." Tears welled up in her eyes. That's just great! That's the worst thing that could happen at a time like this. She thought

"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the highrock for a clan meeting."

"Hello," said Hawktail, a muscular brown and white tom. "You look sad."

"You won't see your mother again," said Swift. "She was attacked by foxes this morning." she sighed.

Owlstar sighed. "We are going through a lot now. Birchshadow is missing, cats are fighting, and a cat is expecting kits! We really need to focus more on survival. Kits will be arriving soon! We need to stock up on herbs and fresh-kill, and sent a patrol to look for Birchshadow!"

Swift looked at Dustsky. "Hey, you were a it once too." she chuckled

"What? Miss nap time?" Swift loved to piss other cats off.

"You remind me of my father." Swift said. "He was a d***."
